Ma Yoga Lomita - GGIW Yoga

I started going to Ma Yoga when I was 15 weeks pregnant. I was looking to start practicing yoga again and wanted to make sure I find a place that was not only safe for my baby but to be surrounded by a warm community. This place has been a life saver for the remainder of my pregnancy up until a week before I delivered my son and still is. Victoria the instructor was immediately so welcoming and created an open space to share how all the mamas feel each week during their pregnancies. Victoria is an amazing instructor and I truly felt incredible emotionally, physically and mentally during and after each class. I also felt connected to other mama’s & my baby each week. I’m fortunate to still be able to take class with Victoria. I now attend mommy & baby class and love it! This allows me to still continue to practice yoga and bond with my baby boy simultaneously. I highly recommend Ma Yoga to all the mama’s to be and to all the mama’s out there.

I cannot stand going to a yoga studio as a novice and having someone rattle off poses in Sanskrit when it’s a begging yoga class. I’m old, my back kills, and don’t know the yoga lingo. I did a class here and it was wonderful! No pretentious nonsense. Fully explained each post and we did a bunch of great stretches. Then COVID hit. I cannot wait to go back and get a pass and go there regularly.
