Mendocino Country Store

Deserves 6 stars, stopped here in April as I made my way up the coast to Vancouver. Jennjer made me feel right at home and recommended a great wine to boot. Genuinely one of the best interactions I had on my trip, and I hope to someday visit again when I can return from the East Coast. Definitely worth stopping by, even if just for good conversation.

OMG this was our first store in lovely Mendocino and boy oh boy we had some good laughs reading all the hilarious cards and random coffee mugs!! Got some "Amazing Sh*T" seasoning and some "Dip Sh*t" both are great!! Lady behind the counter was also hilarious!! She was a real HOOT!! We will defiantly stop by on our yearly trip to Fort Bragg. Thanks for the entertainment and unique gifts!!

The lady working their was honestly the highlight of my trip!! I wish I could find her on social media..... I want to bring my mom up there, just to meet her, and see the shop. The candle I bought my mom, smells amazing, the hand cream I got, also amazing, and the stickers there were a hoot. Oh and I got some spice rub there, amazing!!

Lovely store! It’s been a tradition to visit each time I am in town. Love supporting small batch products from local artists!! It’s always a delightful adventure!! Plus I am always finding something new to obsess over, whether it be a new sauce, a skin care product or a piece of art!! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The wine!!!! Can’t say enough about the owner. Just good people!!

great merch, quirky selection of hot sauce, and nice array from local vintners with proprietor who speaks fluent wine. But main attraction is behind the counter: an entertaining Auntie Mame character with an affinity for the F-word and for products bearing it. She’s a complete
hoot. I’ll return just to see her again.

Stopped by while walking around town and loved the vibe! The woman working the shop is so friendly and she showed us the little wine shop in the back, letting us know they also support local businesses, which I love! Definitely stop by if you’re in town!

We are visiting the amazing little village of Mendocino, and just stopped in to The Country Store to shop for a bit. The manager, Ben, was so friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcomed there. The store is full of fun and funny gifts to take home to friends. I highly recommend!

Very charming gift shops in Mendocino. Tons of cute and interesting things to bring home or give to someone as a gift. I liked their shelfs of hot sauce. There were so many kinds with funny names. The owner was very nice and friendly, too.

Just happened along this place, thought it was a wine bar at first. had a lot of nice handmade nicknacks and kitchenware inside. Turns out was a little cafe place, that served Pliny the Elder. I'm there, man. Due to covid, seating was outside, which was fine, and well marked off, clam chowder was good and service was as well. Would have been even better if the two childless couples around us would not have incessantly talked about their new dogs the entire time. But hey, that's what two Pliney's are for! Will definitely head back!

Such a unique and wonderful store full of the best finds for gifts or just yourself! 😁 There is definitely something for everyone here. Cute, beautiful, delicious, and funny items all found here. Plus the sweetest dog greets you at the door. 🥰

I like to browse this unique store. Walking thru the aisles, you'll find something different whenever you turn. Pottery to soaps to local jams, vinegars and Mendocino items. When you go to pay for all your items, make sure to check out the counter because its full of interesting stuff.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this charming place while looking for the beach. Lovely store lots of homemade items and the lotions and candles are absolutely divine. We will be back
