Mendocino Jams & Preserves

Absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Northern California. I had the lovely experience of meeting the managers of this shop and they are just the most kind and welcoming people I’ve met. Not only are the jams, candies and snacks out of this world, but the entire place is decorated and set up to be so unique and special. There is artwork all over the inside, most of which was pained by one of the managers. Words can’t describe how excited I am to come back here, and it is a MUST if you are traveling to Mendocino.

Ah! When in Mendocino, do stop by here and check their jams, preserves and much much more! The store is super cute! They have all kinds of jams and preserves you name it! They also carry teas, cute little stuff like ceramic spoons, saucers, tea cups and many more. The owner is super nice. Although this place is a bit pricey but the blueberry and ollalieberry are beyond delicious!! Great for gifting. I will definitely recommend this cute place in Mendocino to everyone who visits.

This is my go-to for jams whenever I'm in Mendocino!
I guarantee after visiting this shop you will never go back to store bought jams & jellys like Welch's or Smuckers ever again!

Lovely storefront run by a very sweet lady. My wife and I stopped in and had a nice conversation while looking over the various spreads. We walked out with an armful of delicious jams and even a little kitty candy (catnip). Definitely worth a stop in as it's such a delightful shop

Highly recommend stopping into this store.
We spent a week camping in Manchester and while taking a drive one of the days, we passed by this store and decided to stop. So glad we did. The 2 jars of jam we picked out is so yummy. We especially have enjoyed the huckleberry jam. The guy working was very friendly and knowledgeable. We really liked how, instead of handing the bag over the counter to us, he personally walked around the counter and handed it to us. Thank you for the great experience and yummy jam, we will be back

We have been purchasing jams from this store for a few years. You can't go wrong with their products. My favorite is Sour Cherry. When we travel to Mendocino, we come with a shopping list from friends.
Just passed through again on June 30, can't stay away!

We got the Olallieberry jam. This is such a wonderful little shop and we loved the atmosphere here. Highly recommend visiting for the freshest jams made in small batches.

We were camping in the area and stopped in downtown Mendocino on our way back home. We popped into the store and were welcomed by a few nice saleswomen who warmly gave us a few sample tastes of their jams. We thought the flavors were quite delicious and picked up both the Olallieberry and Orange Marmalade.

I was up here late March and I’m just now finishing my jar of sour cherry and absolutely had to leave a review. This place has delicious products and it is a must stop if you’re in the area! The couple that runs the shop are so genuine and are truly passionate about their work. We also got a jar of Olallieberry and I can’t say enough about how amazing their products are.

Stopped by while exploring the town and wasn't sure at first if spending $16 on jam would be worth it - esp because this was during Covid so there was no sampling. The shopkeeper was so incredibly kind and helped talk through some options since tasting wasn't possible. On her recommendation I went with olallieberry even though I've never had it. This stuff is SO. GOOD. Please do yourself a favor and get some because you will be spooning dollops of it on to oatmeal, toast, in to smoothies and maybe just directly in to your mouth. So flavorful and not sugary sweet. Give it a try!

I’m sorry that I don’t remember the names of the kind and friendly lady and gentleman who assisted me in this wonderful store. We had such a fun conversation about jelly and jam making. I loved the lemon and the sour cherry. The town and views are lovely as well. Walk all the way to the end of the shops for free jelly samples.

Absolutley love visiting here. It's a must go see. Cute little store with a lot of tasting stations for you to sample the products. The owners are so nice and always happy to tell you about the products you're interested in. Also very unique jams and jellies, plus bbq sauce, ice cream sauce, pancake/ waffle syrup, mustards of various kinds. All in all a great place to visit.

This place is wonderful! The jams are delicious and the mustards are unique and tasty. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Wonderful experience going in store but they also have an online store thats very easy to navigate and purchase from.

Great little shop!! And they have samples of almost everything they sell. The owner is super friendly and gave us great advise on things to do and places to eat while on our vacation. I would highly recommend stopping in.
