Subway

If you are looking for a break from burgers and chicken sandwiches but still craving something spicy, there are several sandwich shops out there that should be able to kick things up for you. But they have recently offered an amped-up version of that as part of their “Subway Series” called the Hotshot Italiano which brings even more of a kick to the sandwich. The Hotshot Italiano is made up of the following ingredients: Genoa salami, spicy pepperoni, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, tomato, red onions, provolone cheese, and MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette. They recommend Italian bread, but I went with wheat instead (pretending to be sort of healthy). You can add or subtract ingredients as you choose, but I went with the recommended construction apart from the bread. I also got mine toasted. Despite the jalapenos and spicy pepperoni (which is more savory than spicy), this only gets to about Mild on my scale. But it still has a nice kick to it for a deli sandwich and may satisfy your need for spice if you are not looking for too much burn. Some spicy giardiniera would have really kicked this to the next level, but Subway does not offer that. Maybe next time I will bring the sandwich home where I have a jar of the Marconi Hot Giardiniera in the fridge. Otherwise, I will probably just ask for extra jalapenos.

Just visited this subway and I had a good experience. Nick made our sandwiches and he was so nice and personable. We come to Madera for the drive ins and usually like to pick up food before we go. This subway is close by the drive in and is very convenient. I will definitely be returning with my family as long as people like Nick keep working there. Thank you and keep up the great work.

VERY CLEAN! It was 95 outside , & felt like 70 inside! 3 girls were working & greeted us with a friendly " Welcome to Subway"! Food was made in a timely manner & we small talked throughout the sandwich making! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place! I'll give it not 5, but 10 Stars!!!!

The place is clean, the only negative experience was with one of the servers
Fortunately I got a nice server Inderpau says my receipt, but the other girl was so rude and had a bad attitude like if she was in a hurry and didn't want to be there. I even heard her mumble "stupid people" because the client's English wasn't that well and misunderstood her. I'm sorry you are having a bad day but I also work with customer service and I know how to leave my problems at home.

Fast service! The guy making my sandwich was so polite and made me the best sandwich I've gotten at subway! I'll definitely be coming back.

Good service and good hardworking employee , went in for some soup and got what I asked for , prior to that went in another subway and asked for soup , told me he was sorry because he didn't make any that day , come to find out he didn't want to serve me or cook it for me , employees like that need to be let go
