This place offers authentic Mexican cuisine with incredibly delicious food. The menu has excellent choices, and both the restaurant itself and its surroundings exhibits Mexican atmosphere, well its Salinas, CA, where the Hispanic community predominates.

This restaurant has some delicious Mexican dishes. The carne asada was so tender and flavorful. This dish also I had a cheese enchilada, beef flauta, beans and rice. The staff was very friendly and patient.

We tried it on a whim and it was so good! It’s been a little bit of a struggle finding good Mexican spots here but this place is amazing. It’s 40 minutes away but definitely worth the drive. It’s relatively inexpensive for the amount of food and the value. I got the chicken enchiladas and they were great ! The rice and salsa are very good. The servers are so so kind too :)

Food was amazing did not disappoint... My 2nd time here last time was almost 2 years ago... The food was good then still good today... Every time I come to Salinas I come to eat here....

A very casual no frills simple spot. They serve tasty flavorful dishes … just like home …. The flank steak and the sides were delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Coffee is good.

Great little spot in Salinas. Was driving by and just decided to stop by. Place is small and older but sometimes those are the best and it didnt dissapoint. I got a combination plate with a sope and enchilada with rice and beans. The food was very fresh and tasted homey. Owner is nice and friendly. I got a michelada and that was delicious as well. Average prices and definitely worth it. If im ever in the area ill definitely be going back!

Straight up this may be the best taqueria I have visited yet in Salinas. Not only do they have some bomb food here, but the prices at which they offer this food is excellent!! Tacos are like $6.75 for 3. You can get a plate with beans and rice AND a burrito for $8.75. You just can't beat those prices.

The best sopes I’ve ever had, fresh ingredients and the rice and beans are really good. The waitresses are great and the price is right. I would def come here again

Delicious authentic Mexican food! Zacatecano plate is my man's go to! Carne Asada, enchiladas, flautas, sopes, pork chops, Chile Verde, 7 mares, seafood dishes, posole and menudo they have it all! Chips and salsa are the 💣. 1 of the best Mexican restaurants in town 👌

Outstanding Mexican food! I live in the Bay Area, and found this place while on a vacation. I will be back, make the 4hr round trip.

I had the fries Dorado, my wife had the chile renjo. Both were excellent. You know you are in for a great meal when the rice and salsa are outstanding

Best Mexican food on the planet

One of our favorite places to eat. The cheese enchiladas are amazing. The salsa is super tasty and has a little kick that is just right. Last but definitely not least, the staff is super friendly.

Chille verde enchiladas are absolutely heavenly. Sauce is rich, the beans are creamy, and the rice is fluffy. Special touch is that its served on a hot plate, keeping your food warm till the very last bite. Very highly recommended.

Best kept secret in town. Not the prettiest place but the flavor profiles are great. The service is great. Something about their food is very different from any other Mexican restaurant in the area. I've had several menu items over the years and have never been disappointed.

Beautiful, basic, delicious. Not too fancy, just good home made Mexican food. Chile Verde was said to be one of the best by some tough critics at the table. No one disliked anything they got. Even pleased my son (who doesn't like Mexican food), with some bacon and eggs.
