We had no realtor, just walked up to the house he was selling and started asking questions and he offered to represent us. We got very lucky to work with such a great realtor. I see that realtors have a tough job because they have to be on call most of the time even during family events. We recently visited Mendocino county to look at some land that was listed with Fawn Winkels of Palma Group eXp Realty. This lot was waaaay out there, but thanks to Fawn, we were ready for it. It was an experience. It turned out not to be what we were looking for, but since we were there for the day, we turned it into a little adventure, and checked out some other properties in the area. Fawn facilitated this adventure beautifully, allowing the day to unfold in a magical way, and we ended up on the property we never knew we were missing, and we are delighted. We feel so lucky to have met her, and the whole experience felt very serendipitous; Fawn was absolutely the crucial ingredient.

We had our three dogs with us, and it was a little overwhelming (for me at least, lol), but Fawn was patient and accomodating. I retired in 2008 right after the financial crisis. With the cost of real estate dropping significantly, I bought and sold several homes in the Bay Area and Northern CA. I moved to Lake County about 6 years ago after selling the last of my houses in the Rocklin/Sacramento area. I felt I had a good run and decided my days of buying and fixing up houses were over. However, due to unforeseen events occurring last year with family members, I decided to buy one more house in Lake county.

I found a house I was interested in and the seller's agent was Nathan Fine. I already knew several agents in the area, but I asked Nathan if he would be willing to show the house. Nathan informed me he worked out of Ukiah but would drive down to Clearlake to show me the property. Sometime in August of 2022, I met Nathan and although being a young man, he was very knowledgeable about the property and the current market. I liked Nathan right away because he is just plain likable. He ended up spending a couple of hours with me and I didn't feel pressure to buy as I often felt with other agents in the past.

I chose Nathan because he made looking for property easy. He listened to my needs and I never felt rushed. He made himself available to show me properties at my convenience and him living and working in Ukiah was never an issue. All I can say is this: if you want to feel like you are being shown real estate by a super friendly professional, I highly recommend Nathan.
