I had driven past this restaurant several times without noticing it until I was on the lookout for a good steakhouse in the area, and it turned out to be the first one that popped up. What a pleasant surprise!

The restaurant offers a nostalgic and charming atmosphere that immediately sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Now, let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of amazing! The steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare, was bursting with flavor, and it hit all the right notes. And the creme brûlée? Fantastic! It was the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding meal.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough if you're in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak.

We had a reservation for 4 at 5:30 on a Wednesday. Parking was easy. The place was busy and noisy. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Our group had prime rib and New York steak (and salmon filet), amazing steak, cooked to perfection along with the potatoes, veggies, and salad. Thumbs up for an outstanding steakhouse meal. We will go back soon. Oh yes, and the wine was excellent!

Great place for dinner, service was excellent 👌... if you want a great piece of meat any cut.... full of flavor, then this is the place. Amazing PRime NY. Pairing with a great local wines. Amazing Dinner.

Haven't been to this place in a decade and the friend I took had not been there in 30 years! Not only was it bright and cheerful, the staff was very accommodating to my guest who was over 90 and using a walker. The food was excellent and the service went beyond "good" into the realm of actual kindness.

GREAT FOOD! IF The main chef is there... the other guy doesn't even compare, we only had him once! Only once? because now we ask before we go! Can't fool me twice! The bartender is an amazing bartender you would think that it wouldn't matter oh but it does! I can't tell you how many bad bartenders are out there! So we appreciate a good one! Her lemon drops and cosmopolitan are delicious she makes thee best long Island iced teas as well! This is one of my favorite places to dine at! Everything is good but the steaks ah the steaks well, they just melt in your mouth! Mmmmm

Always enjoyable…in the 1960’s and 1970’s our grandfather, Emilio Pasque, regularly brought us there👏🏻👏🏻. Still the same🙏🏻

First time there. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice looking it was inside. Had the wedge salad and calamari steak. Both were excellent. I also substituted for vegetables with the calamari and was given a generous portion of grilled fresh vegetables. I will definitely be back.

Quiet, hidden gem. I’ve spent 7 days in California, eating at 12 different 4.5 Star restaurants through my travels. Growers Pub, Tommy and the Ahi Tuna took the win by a long shot. I would travel back to Cali, just to eat at Growers in Salinas.

My total bill was $69.85 including the tip but the server added $10 more without my authorization. The manager promised she would return my money but I never received it back to my credit card. I have no plan to go there again. Please always check your credit card statement after eating at this restaurant. That is why I found that I was overcharged.

The service was fantastic and the food was to die for. I would totally recommend this restaurant to all carnivors. Oh yeah the dessert was great.

The food was amazing. I went with my girlfriend. She order chicken marsala and I got the ahí tuna steak. They where delicious. The tuna was watery. That melt in your mouth. Also there is no such thing as a well drink. Also drinks are top shelf

Celebrated my Birthday there tonight with my family,and It was Amazing. From the food to the service,our server Jackie was absolutely the best. She was on top of everything and just made my Birthday dinner that more enjoyable. Thank you growers pub☺

Excellent prime rib dinner at very resonable prices. Listed as one of the oldest restaurants in town and they sure know how to cook. Ill be back to try a steak next time

Came for dinner last night with my husband and 6 year old. Was seated and offered drinks right away. Everything passing by while we waited looked and smelled amazing and with so many choices, it was hard to decide what to have. We started with the potato skins for appetizer. They were delicious and perfectly cooked. For my meal I went with the skirt steak with scalloped potatoes and French onion soup instead of salad. Steak was cooked to perfection, as was the vegetable medley. The French onion soup was loaded with onions and covered in gooey delicious cheese. And the scalloped potatoes were some of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Staff was very attentive, filling drinks before needed or asked for. Definitely 10/10 recommend and we will for sure be returning.

This place was a bit of a surprise the impression you get from the outside doesn't match the much more upmarket inside, our server was great very friendly and helpful. The food is very good,we will return.
