BEST CARNITAS!! I have been coming here for years just for their carnitas and salsa. The salsa compliments the meat perfectly. I buy it by the pound and take it home. It's the only thing I buy, so I can't comment on the other food. I'm sure it's great.

I go there at least 2 to 3 times every week. On my way to work stop get a half pound carnitas and three tortillas and that's my lunch ,way better than any fast food . And I just feel cool there . This place is legendary as far being established in the community I guarantee top five if three in Mexican in the area. Variety of different dishes to choose from

I came here for the first time last week and was surprised by the variety and prices that they offer. First of all, I'm a big fan of restaurants that have pictures of their dishes as it makes deciding a lot easier for me. Secondly, the service was top notch as well as their willingness to swap the french fries for rice and beans at no extra charge! Lastly, the prices were very reasonable and the torta was delicious. My only complaint is them wrapping the paper bowl where my beans and rice with foil paper; where I could taste small amounts of foil while eating out of it. Other than that, go check this place out!

The prices are average or bit up But the food is delicious and fresh it's a small place but clean. the employees are quiet but can be nice I love their shrimp cocktail they are tasty also the shrimp are huge and put lots in their cocktails!!

This is the place to go if you like the crispy ends of carnitas. Been coming here since I was a kid. It's consistently been good throughout the years. Their salsa is always fresh and spicy. Portions are big, bring your appetite.

This is a favorite when in town. The most delicious carnitas, tripas and chicharrones! Homemade tortillas. Yummy! You can dine in or carry out. Prices are good too! They have a full menu and restrooms are available fir customers. A code is provided. Oh, and the salsa is great!

Outstanding authentic Mexican food. We have patronized this fine restaurant for decades. Excellent delicious freshly made food along with outstanding customer service at great prices and portions. I highly recommend this business. You will not be disappointed.

The best carne asada and you can buy it by the pound. We also got the large shrimp cocktail but it was a little bland. they have a buffet of all kinds of delicious sauces customer service is absolutely delicious just like the food.

Used to come here as a kid. Stopped by this last week on a whim while I was back in town. Sweet jeebus it was just as good as I remembered. We got a handful of different burritos, including the seafood. All delish.

The ceviche is always fresh! Ive visited this place 3xs already since moving to salinas and will continue to visit again. I haven't ordered anything else, but the ceviche de pescado (fish), and will still continue to order the same. Everytime i eat this i brag to my friends about how good it is!

Don't be fooled by the exterior, all the locals know this is the place for great, authentic Mexican food. Delish!

I use to live about 100 yards from Gutierrez Drive In as a teenager. I loved the food then and even more now. They make the best carnitas tacos around.

I love their carnitas. Their salsa is bomb! Real Mexicans making real Mexican food. If you have picky kids, they have chicken nuggets and burgers too (I think).

Good food! The portions are huge, but you definitely get your money's worth here. This is where the locals go, and they are constantly busy! Definitely worth a stop if you want authentic Mexican
