Really, really good tacos with hand-made fresh tortillas. This is a lovely local business with great street food. They will prepare Carne Asada (as well as sides) for large groups and you can have you meat cooked or marinated for you to cook.

Exceptional tacos and handmade, fresh tortillas. Ordering process is a bit screwy, but, figuring out how it all works makes every bite worth it. One of my favorite establishments in Northern California for tacos.

Best mexican food in Ukiah valley. Order inside the grocery store and walk outside across the parking lot to the setup outside the billards. Hand the lovely person working your receipt and be sure to tip!

Love this place. Highly recommend. We have shopped here ever since it opened up. They also have the option to purchase tacos and order off menu for their restaurant, in their store. It is the best in town. We also buy their meat already chopped up and seasoned to cook at home. The meats here are the best. The people are friendly and helpful. Did I mention I highly recommend.

Personally, it’s my favorite place to get Mexican food. Love the quesadillas de carnitas and barbacoa.

I highly recommend this store,theve always been so helpful,the manager has been really nice to me and my family,One time my mom forgot her groceries and the manager put them away for us,and when we arrived he made sure to hand them to her, the food is also good next door and there service is fast!!!

Best tacos north of Tijuana, they hand press the tortillas as you watch. You dont know what a street taco is until you sample Chavez.

Every time I head into Ukiah, I always go out of my way to head over to Chavez’s market for lunch! Home made everything!!! If you love authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and stop in and place an order. You have to go into the main store to make your purchase then head next door where the magic happens. Street tacos are life!!!! 💯

I remember when they first opened, it was in the building next door where they serve the. "Bomb" street tacos and other authentic mexican goodness. Ohhhh but the tacos, dang I love them. Anyway you want them, yummmmmmmm. The staff in and out of the store are awesome and they also have an authentic meat dept with all the cuts you need for all your mexican tastes. All the cheese you want and produce. The owner, now an experienced Grocer, knows his business and his peeps. He's down to earth, good people. Great store!!!!

This is, hands down, the best Mexican food in Ukiah. They're famous for their tacos, but next time try a quesadilla afuera. When they offer the grilled onions and jalapeno say yes. The huge handmade corn tortilla is stuffed with cheese and the meat of your choosing. They're always friendly, too. What's better than friendly people and excellent food?

El pastor buy several lbs of the delicious seasoned grub and grub !!!! For the family to enduldge ethnicity in it's flavorful display of good food

The food and customer service is great. There's always a friendly face and fresh food. Their tacos are hands down the best in Ukiah! They are over all AMAZING!!!

Tacos are great here, used to love the tortas too if they ever go back to the thick pita/gordita bread I will again current roll is not very good.

Great Mexican food! You need to order in the market then take the receipt outside to the grill outside. But they make it right there and it's always amazing!

It's a bonefied market and is Spanish for sure it great .except I wish I could find some frye's chicken up in there I love fryed chicken
