I am currently a student at Central Coast College placed in the Computer Office Administration program. This was, by far, the best decision I can make regarding school wise. I recently finished my first 6 weeks of school and I can honestly say it's been great. The teachers and staff are amazing! It's a fast paced program but really educational.

I am at the end of the Veterinary Assisting program and from my point of view and experiences, it has been an amazing time. The cost is high, and the work is abundant in a very short amount of time, but it is easily manageable. Working full time while still attending class, I was able to complete work easily and passed every class. The hands on you get at the SPCA is priceless. The people there are great and very willing to help you learn, and the animals are very fun to work with. One of the reviews for CCC that has one star is a review made from the experience she had. I personally met her and at the time, there was some confusion with instructors and we also had an over-sized class. This caused inter turmoil between students and teachers. Please take her review into consideration, but not as a fact. Some of the students that came in at the same time as her stayed and are continuing through the program. They all seem to be enjoying it just as much as I have. If you are questioning whether to enroll in the Veterinary Assisting Program, give them a call and set up an appointment for information.

Central Coast College was the best decision I've ever made. My life was at a stand still and I had no idea which direction to go. My job skills were out of date by 10 years. My self esteem and self confidence were at an all time low. Once I made the decision to attend the Computer Office Administration course the office staff and teachers took care of the rest. The financial aid department assisted me with all the FASFA and student loan process. The teachers and class mates made this 9 month program fun and challenging. There was always support when I needed it. I learned a tremendous amount in a short time. I am more than prepared to take on the world, with the sky being the limit.

Coming to CCC is been one of the best choices I ever made. Yes, it was a little challenging but never impossible. Most of the instructors are always there to help you out and give you the tools you need to succeed in the real world. I honestly believe that if you really want something, there won't be boundaries to prevent you from nothing... if you think you are not getting the right tools in class, go and talk to the directors and believe me, they will make the changes. Before I even finished the Computer Specialist Accounting program, I got hired by an institution owned by the Monterey County and I couldn't be happier (starting my career). So if you really wish for something, don't expect CCC to do everything for you, YOU GET THE TOOLS, DO YOUR HOMEWORK, LOOK FOR THE CAREER YOU WANT, AND APPLY, APPLY, APPLY, DON'T GIVE UP AND ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. So take advantage of the tools that CCC gives you and put them to work.

I decided to attend Central Coast College because I heard many great things about it. This made me realize I had an opportunity that I could not reject. I am currently enrolled, and all I can say is that this is an awesome college, and the instructors are great!!!

This facility has a nerve calling itself a “college”, notice that the majority of students are those considered “minorities”. While you can obtain basic skills that you can just pay for or actually obtain proper scholarships, this facility sells them at an extreme high price I.e. computer skills etc. What is worse is, nothing a student “learns” (despite having to pay so much after FAFSA), is that none of it is actually transferable to any proper and actual College or University. The name should be simply be switched to “program for basic skills certification school” it’s that simple.

It’s plain to see this facility simply makes money at ridiculous high amounts for basically the equivalent of individuals tutoring.

Do not go here there is nothing a student can actually transfer as far as credits to an actual College or University as the “classes” do not hold actual credit weight recognized by the board of education. You’ll end up paying more on the long run versus if you had applied to a regular public college with possibilities galore of actually being approved for scholarships. Just go to an adult school or public college.

I also had someone threatening me if I didn’t finish paying my FAFSA with them I could not attend any other college. The adaucity. When you are in college (a real college) your fafsa acts like a temporary postponement since they recongize the actual credited classes you are taking. So there you go. Research and ask questions. Many of the students that went to Central Coast “college” ended up in Hartnell and succeeded with proper credits and degrees anyway.

This is the worst school you could ever attend . When I first started they made it seem like such a great school and they are there to help their students get an education, but in all reality they are just a money hungry school that screws you over once you’ve completed the program. When they make mistakes they try to make it seem like it’s your fault and “oh well” you have to deal with it and not them. Oh and Mr. Schaefer is the rudest, money hungry, most unprofessional person I have ever met! He needs to seriously learn how to communicate with other people ! I would never recommend this school to anyone else ! I was told by one of their employees last Wednesday that I can participate in graduation ceremony this winter and was showed my petition for graduation and it was all completely signed off and I was ready to go . Now today only like 5 days since I was told this now all of a sudden I’m unable to participate! Like seriously this school always comes up with something ! They are full of it ! Honestly at this point I don’t even care to participate in their graduation ! I don’t want to be apart of this crooked money hungry school any longer ! People don’t screw yourselves over and attend this school !

They make it too hard to get into the course you want. Claiming that there are pre-Requisites that the "instructor" has mandated. Then why did I get a call back asking me to come in for an school placement interview? I was honest about my work and educational history. Wasted my time! I also want to point out that if you do not speak spanish and you want to work as a medical assistant in the Salinas, CA area - you will not be hired. The school course advisor told me that they have medical assistant students that don't speak spanish & they are working - But when I asked WHERE they're working at...she wouldn't tell me! Hmmm, makes you sound like a liar that got caught your own lie! She even tried to talk me into taking a $1700.00 CNA course, then I would be allowed to take their Phlebotomy Certification course (after some hospital/clinic work experience, of course) thats another $1000.00 on top of that!
