We have been shopping there for over 20 years and when you need a unique gift for Christmas, birthday, wedding whatev's it's the perfect place to go.

First, long as I can remember this is been my go to spot in Nevada city for gifts. They had some thing for everyone. The owner is always so sweet and helpful.

I've been meaning to "report back" to the owner (as she demanded =) like a best friend) after she helped me choose gifts for a 3, 6 and 9 year old girls, my nieces, for a quick trip to Phoenix.

HER RECOMMENDATIONS FOR KID GIFT GIVING WAS BEYOND perfection. I don't like kids myself, but if they're family, it's forced love lol. From pop-its, to secret uv pens lights, boba key chains and much more --- all recommended by the lovely owner --- were a hit. The girls loved everything. My only mistake is I should have bought 3 of each, kids can't share and the whining ensued. I should have known.

Hands down this is the best shop to buy gifts for all ages. As a local, this is my main stop to buy gifts for others. She literally has anything/ everything ---- even for that person who is hard to buy a gift for. You'll find something, and if you need assistance/advice on WTH to buy, her advice is spot on.

This is my favorite store. They always have the most unique gifts and cards. The owner is a sweetheart and very knowledgeable. Don't be afraid to ask for help finding the perfect gift for someone. Last time I was there I asked if she had anything for a guy new to being in a wheelchair, and I was very excited by what she pointed out, and my friend LOVED the items!

What a gem of a place in a cool town! Stuey is so helpful! We picked up an eclectic assortment of things. There was something I liked that she was sold out of and it just showed up in my mailbox!!! That is customer service!

Something for everyone. Great gift ideas for all ages; toys, books, and mugs, of course, but also lots of fun little things like tea strainers in animal shapes, mini speakers, and lots of vintage-styled goods. Allow some time and patience; it's small and packed with merchandise, and hard to move around when lots of shoppers are there. Lots of fun even if you're just looking.

This shop is a great place to shop for gifts as there are many items to choose from. There are a multitude of cards, many are comical & humorous with a dry sense of humor. There are gag gifts along with lovely jewelry, especially great earrings. The Gray Goose is a gem in Nevada City.

Yes I know the clerk can seem cranky, but she really is quite sweet. I love this place I always go in looking for items to buy my brothers and family and they always deliver wonderful trinkets and humor. I will always keep going to this shop.

Great store! Located in historic district .Tons of fun, quirky items, nice selection of original greeting cards. Something for everyone. Very friendly,helpful clerk seemed genuinely happy to be there!
