TJ's Roadhouse of Nevada City

I was so excited to hear that a dump of a restaurant called Leftys was finally replaced! TJ's is fun and has amazing food. I grew up with the one in Colfax, but I have to say I love this location. Also, they have a liquor license, and at least one incredible employee knows how to pour as well. Ask for Katt as your server! 😁

If you don’t try TJ’s… your loss! Had two margaritas (as good as they get!) and desserts (blueberry/lemon tart and chocolate Italian pudding) and all were exceptional. Our server Anne was equally exceptional… midwest nice! The creekside view was beautiful and not to be missed. Do yourself a favor… just… GO!

First time eating here as we just moved to town. I ordered the fish n chips. The cod was fresh and flaky and cooked perfectly, fries were hot and tasty and the service was top notch. Will be back, especially to enjoy the lovely outdoor patios when the weather permits

We came to start my birthday month. It was our first time at TJ's Roadhouse. We ordered the patty melts, and they were great! The drinks were great! Thank you for the good service that day.

This was a really good BBQ joint. Waitress was very attentive, and the food was great.

Very large portions they have great ranch dipping sauce.

We were in town for a festival a few miles away, we stopped in town and many places were closed or packed.. rolled on over to this place and sat right on the river, wh a great site and sound, the server was personable and checked back often, the food was good, I heard no complaints...

I LOVE this place. I miss the old Lefty's restaurant, but this new place, although not as fancy, is just as wonderful. The menu is fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Ambience is great ( great place to catch football games), and service is usually decent.

Jalapeño margarita was fantastic! The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes delicious. Glad you came to Nevada City. We have enjoyed the Colfax location also. Great place to meet friends or have a birthday dinner with family as we did tonight. Great food and service. Thank you

I had the chili rellino sandwich on sourdough.
It was perfect.
Every bite was flavourful, the vegetables on the sandwich were very fresh.
Went there with a friend for lunch and hoping to talk the husband in going there again for dinner.
Service was outstanding.

We had a very nice meal tonight. My husband had soup and salad. The soup was excellent, great flavor. My chefs salad was so good, perfect with avocado. Their iced tea is brewed perfectly. Looking forward to ordering a pizza. They have many sauces to choose from.

We had an early dinner here on Mother’s Day. We arrived around 5:00, were seated immediately and greeted by our server right away. Our food came out quickly. The food was delicious and serving sizes were generous. We will be back, for sure!

This group can cook! Now they have a lovely spot right in Nevada City where you can sit out on the patio and listen to the creek. It’s just lovely for Sunday brunch or an evening dinner. Check them out.

Phenomenal food, beautiful view, and delicious cocktails. Bo the owner was super pleasant to speak to and came to see how we enjoyed everything. Perfect lunch spot.

My men have been coming in for breakfast for a while now. Always fantastic! But we showed up today and realized their hours have changed. Not opening til 8 am now. We waited. No worries, Thank God our favorite server Courtney was here to take care of us!

Got a delicious Carolyn burger on a house made onion bun. The French fries even came to my table hot (yeah) Nice bar, cozy atmosphere. Looks like it is fast becoming the go to place.

Great outside seating w wonderful views of Deer Creek. Food was perfect! And lots of it. Waitress friendly and attentive. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend TJs!!

Lovely dinning environment, ate by the creek. Delish fare, hard to choose what to eat -- from a taste of each of my friends' dinner plates, I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. Yum YUM!
