State Historic marker #560 for Hilltown Ferry is located south of hwy 68, at the dead end of Spreckels Ln. It was the intersection of old Spreckles Blvd & Hwy 68 before the current bridge was built. Google Hilltown Ferry for more info. There was a 2 story Hotel called the Riverside Hotel here on the south west side of Spreckels Ln
The google map marker is now in the correct place, near this site is where the old Hwy 68 bridge was located.

I don't think there is a phone number. Or a website for it. All there is there is a plaque stating facts about the ferry. I will post picture today the plaque resides on sprekels ln.

Quite place but the people who live across the street think they own the place!
Threatened to block my vehicle in with a backhoe and cement blocks if I didn't leave immediately!
Called sheriff's department to get them to leave me alone. Ended up ruining my night. But someone has to stand up to these idiots! Will return again to remind them that it's public land, not private.

You really don't want to go here. From the end of Hilltown road, you can get to the site of the Hill Town Ferry only by pushing through extremely dense underbrush of waist-high vines and poison ivy. I know, I found it and have the poison ivy to prove it! There is no trail at all, not even a game trail and the place is full of ticks. When I left, I followed the river towards Highway 68 and had to exit on private property. All in all, not much fun.
