FIVE star service and merchandise! This was my first visit and not my last. It was near closing time but I had traveled from Whidbey Island because I heard about their fantastic sale prices and high quality merchandise. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I got some HOKA shoes for work and got a few compliments on my Spongebob backpack as I waited for my mom to finish shopping. I also work in retail and this store is worth the visit. THANK YOU!! I'm going to be back for sure :)

Great 'mini department store'. Stowe's offers a lot of quality merchandise for the whole family. The women's vast shoe selection is almost certain to deliver what any shopper is looking for, including a huge Dansko inventory.
The men's clothing and footwear options were great. Good quality, priced reasonably.
The kid's section had nice variety, including sportswear.
The staff are delightful, helpful, and attentive (something lacking at big box and chain retailers). The personalized service Stowe's staff offers makes shopping enjoyable and rewarding.
I prefer to shop local and Stowe's satisfies everyone.
Whether I'm shopping for something specific or just browsing, Stowe's is a local go-to that never disappoints.

Exactly the type of store and customer service I was looking for! All the employees were friendly, helpful and made sure all their customers were well taken care of. I had major foot surgery in May and I was looking for something to fit my swollen foot that wouldn't be too large for my other foot. It was the first time in over 2 months of being able to walk again. Julie (I think that was her name-sorry if I'm wrong) spent 90 minutes very patiently getting me shoes to try on and making suggestions, and I hope I wasn't too much trouble. I was so happy to find not one but two pairs of new shoes and I felt like a kid in a candy store. I will definitely go back repeatedly every time I need shoes now that I found this wonderful family run store. Just when I get discouraged about so many businesses not caring about their customers I found this gem of a store. Thank you Stowe's Shoes and all your wonderful employees - you now have a customer for life!

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though it was my first time in, they made me feel like a long time customer. Excellent selection of quality made clothes and shoes. Will definitely be returning for wardrobe upgrades!

Awesome place! They have quality shoes of all kinds (dress, running, work, etc.) from the best brands (Hoka, Dansko, Keen, Ariat), all in one place! And in greater variety than I have seen at ANY other shoe store. The staff is great too! They're knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and take the time to get you in the best shoe for your needs. Definitely a #1 stop for footwear.
They've got a pretty impressive selection of workwear, western attire and school spirit too.

Fabulous and wonderfully kind customer service with a nice selection of options. If they don’t have what you need there able to order it in. In the day and age of Zappos and Amazon prime, it’s nice to be able to support a local family business into the next generation.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a really great selection of Birkenstock and lots of other brands like Hokas. Must have shoes if you back or hip pain. The shoe sale rack is def worth a visit too.

Stowes backs the products sold. My wife and I purchased some work boots for her and they suffered a manufacturers defect. Sales person looked up the receipt, we had lost it, and helped her in to a new pair. Great people and great local store. We will be back!

The one thing about Stowes Shoes and Clothing that keeps me coming back is the service and selection. There is not a harder working family, that is so humble and proud of what the community they have created in Skagit County.

I received from my first gift from Stowe’s almost 20 years ago, and I still order from them for my needs (I live in Pierce County now). They go out of their way to assist me, and ensure I feel that I am the only customer they’re helping at the help.

If you want the BEST service with an amazing selection, there is no where else you need to go.

Excellent locally owned store. Excellent choice, oustding client focus. The salesman (Lauren) who helped buy a pair of shoes was friendly, knowledgeable and the support I received from him far exceeded my expectations. A must visit store!

great service! Went in to buy a new pair of danskos and the guy that was helping me offered to stretch them out, he also oiled them and put an extra water resistant coating on them. If you've ever had to break in danskos you know how helpful that is. They also have a great selection.
