Great neighborhood physician (surgeon too), to review him personally 5 stars surgeon (especially coming from another country).Gives kind and quiet care in an area where truth is hidden.

Dr. Pocasangre is bilingual and gives care along with humor and sets the patient at ease. He comes from a family of physicians (per his staff). All appointments were wonderful.

He also adjusts care to the specific needs of the patient and in this case sent dispatch of nurse and VIP care for one of his "nervous" patients. UCSF residency and bi-lingual, gracias pro la seguridad!

Excelente la atención brindada por el Doctor Alas. Gran profesional, y que se dedica a ofrecer una sorprendente gama de procedimientos estéticos, como lo es el rejuvenecimiento facial con rayos láser. Me encuentro totalmente satisfecho con los resultados.

Terrible experience. Went in to discuss my blood work, 3:45pm appointment. Waited over 2 hours to be seen. He skipped me and saw other patients first. I had to sit for an hour listening to the doctor laugh and joke in the room next to me. Staff is unprofessional and incompetent, found out my referral from a MONTH earlier wasn’t even submitted… will be changing doctors ASAP!

The doctor is very nice but his staff is unprofessional and rude. I called back per his instructions to ask about a referral and over a week and a half later of waiting, they still hadn’t submitted it and try to cover it up for each other. They talk over people and have no customer service or people skills. To the doctor, after all these same complaints about your staff, it would good to look into how they treat your patients and why people don’t want to come back. Such a shame because you seemed like a great one.

Always wait an hour to be seen every time I’m here. I have no idea why they double, triple, or quadruple book the same doctor all the time. I came in once for an appointment right when they opened, and I was already the fourth patient to write my name on the sign-in sheet. Dr. Alas came into my room an hour later, then immediately excused himself to take a phone call, and didn't apologize.

He's very dismissive of my health concerns and doesn't take me seriously. Definitely avoid this doctor if possible.

Dr Alas seemed to be a good doctor but when I needed a doctor's medical release form for DMV he informed me it cost $70.00, my last doctor didn't charge for one. Apparently he also charges $60.00 for missed appt. where other offices charge $25.00. I read in other reviews about the waiting time, only where are the other patients?
