Beautiful little library with a wonderful kids' room full of age appropriate books. The staff here is fantastic and knows my children by name. Plus, there is a nice playground out front for the kids to play on while I sit on a bench and read a book.

I've been there many, many times since its opening way back in the 1990s. What keeps me coming back? A very restful and quiet location, an airy, well-lit modern building, free parking, and a wonderfully friendly staff, are some of the reasons why. My only nit is the book collection could be larger if they had taller mid-room shelving (they don't even come up to your chest) , but compared to the tiny hole-in-the wall strip mall location the Marina library used to inhabit, everything is a HUGE improvement. They have at least 20 recently-upgraded PCs for internet use for up to an hour, but ask nicely and they'll give you more time.

One previous reviewer gave a 1-star rating due to body odor from a bunch of homeless people but I can assure you I've been there HUNDREDS of times and NEVER noticed anything like that! Another reviewer complained about the quality of the free wi-fi. The wi-fi WAS sketchy back in the day, I'll admit, but about 2 years ago the wi-fi was SERIOUSLY upgraded and now it's very fast and stable, and has a strong enough signal to easily reach the parking lot.

One of my favorite libraries around. If they don’t have a book they can have it brought down from another library. Bugs kids section where my wife can get books for her 4th grade class. Large selection of dvds and audio books for road trips. Super friendly staff that are available to help you with any of your questions or concerns. Great hometown feel and a quiet place to read. Overlooks lock paddon park where you can also get out and walk around. Overall great place

Clean, peaceful, welcoming environment with so many books to read ! The library has a good assortment of cultural activities as well (film projections, etc).

Pretty library in pretty surroundings. Even my friend visiting from out of town remarked that he'd never seen such a nice library! Just like a library should be in nice and quiet surroundings.

Staff very friendly, study rooms are available. A liked this library so much. But l recommend to increase the operation days. Thank you.
