Amazing fish and seafood on the beach. Cozy vibes inside and good service. The food is very fresh and tastes delicious. Definitely worth the price. Loved the artichoke and ahi tuna. Good gluten free options, not many vegetarian options. Must go to if you're in seal beach.

Went again recently and so good. Love sitting in the window, having bread and a cocktail, then ordering dinner. High quality fish and fresh food.

Walt's Wharf is traditionally our "go-to" restaurant when we head to Seal Beach to celebrate an anniversary, a graduation, or just satisfy our desire for quality sea food! Today's meal consisted of Mixed Seafood Grill & Fish & Chips to share among the three of us for dinner. It was yet another terrific & memorable late lunch courtesy of Walt's!

Honestly, there are no "wrong" choices to be had on their menu. Any plate here is delicious, and the service is second to none. Perfect place for anything from a nice occasion to a casual afternoon.

Legendary Clam Chowder and great home made Ceviche. Add good service and an excellent Margarita and you have a great place for lunch. We will be back for more

One of the things that I cannot overestimate is how good the service was. I ordered a whiskey that the bartender did not know wasn't on the menu twice lol however they did compensate by giving me Their highest top shelf whiskey at a regular price it was a very nice gesture.
I got the oysters on a 1/2 shell, they were very fresh and very tasty.. The halibut was very good a very nice portion next time I return I am definitely going to have to get the blackened catfish

This was my second time to go to this Restaurant. Lunch, now dinner. Chef Johnny is fantastic! My friend is a Chef, and she said everything was perfect!! Even the iceberg lettuce in the Wedge salad was super crisp, which We split and had just the right amount each. The Brownie desert was awesome too. This restaurant has been around for 50 yrs and there is a reason.

Nicely decorated inside for Christmas and gave it a nice ambiance. We got the sirloin, shrimp, and fish and chips and they were tasty.

I had an absolutely pleasant experience here! I was in from out of town and looking for a place still open for dinner. I ended up picking this spot and I was so pleased with my meal and the service! My waiter was helpful and kind. I ordered the Ahi Tuna for my meal. Delicious. Then knowing Mud Pie is my favorite dessert I had to give it a try and it did not disappoint. I would love to go back and may even plan a visit to Seal Beach just to go back here! I’ve already recommended Walt’s Wharf to friends and have just been raving about my time there. I’m a fan!

Just a great spot to eat with family, service was great and friendly. I had Pasta Pescatore, it was excellent, with 3 types of fish and a marinara flavor with hint of lobster. Unfortunately, this restaurant is an hour away, so I can't get here enough, but definitely worth the drive.

What an awesome casual place to eat seafood with super helpful and attentive staff.

I had never been and was looking for the best seafood in seal Beach and I called Walt's, the manager totally took care of me arranging for parking, flowers and my choice of the two best seats in the house. All the same day.

I had oysters and an amazing beer called The Walrus. My date had the crab pasta special which was delicious.

As a bonus the gentleman out front playing music who I guess is they're all the time, what's happening lots of fun with us. Placing little squeeze animals right at our window to make us laugh.

I will for sure go back.

We had lunch here and it was absolutely amazing. I had the linguine with clams and my husband had the mahi tacos. We shared the caramel apple cheese cake. All of it was amazing.

My family has celebrated our annual Christmas Ornament tradition at Walt's Wharf for about 24 years now. We love it here and can't think of anywhere else we would rather be. The food, the service and atmosphere are excellent.

Really nice spot a couple blocks from the pier. They have a great drink menu with lots awesome mixed drinks. Really good prices for how much you get. Ordered the salmon tacos with a side if soup. Sooo goood, also their bread is dank too!

Simply put, this place hits all the points: great ambiance/decor, excellent service, food looks as good as it tastes. The halibut was cooked to perfection. No joke. Even the coffee was great. You know some restaurants have great food but coffee is meh. This place has great everything.

I long for these types of restaurants that make you feel better than when you came in. The trout was moist and tender. The green beans were crunchy. The rice was the perfect complement, and the IPA had the perfect amount of hops.

Amazing experience, food, and it's only a block from the pier.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We dine outdoors since we had our pup with us.

I ordered the pasta Pescatore, and my significant other ordered Macadamia Halibut. The food was absolutely delicious. We both cleaned our plate .

The Pescatore cause was perfect. Did not have a fish taste. The noodles were thick, which was a fantastic choice for this dish. The chunks of fish, and cherry tomatoes paired amazing. The sourdough bread pairs great with the sauce.

The macadamia fish was cooked perfectly. Skin was even tasty. It sits on top of brown rice, and a mango tasting puree of sorts. Everything tasting so delicious when all together.

Very delicious lunch today with great service dining inside the restaurant. The rolls were especially tasty for starters. Enjoyed the Cream of Asparagus soup and the Wedge Salad. We had the Trout Almandine and the Mahi Mahi burger with fries. The grilled Mahi Mahi was some of the best I ever had... perfectly cooked and still juicy and tender.

We always have great time here but yesterday was very special. We had a server that met all of our needs and more. The food was great but our server was better. Thank you so much. Didn't catch her name but she was small girl with a black covering on her hair!

Near the wharf this is an easy place to find and if very well worth entering. The place is warm, beach and old wood sthrough-out. The staff were friendly and efficient. Cocktails and wine served and enjoyed. We shared a shrimp cocktail and were impressed by the presentation and quality, fresh, not frozen. This is a great starter. We both ordered the Chiopino and we're not disappointed. The highlite was a half lobster tail on top but actually, the soup and the fish and clams were our favorite as it seemed to be a bit over the top. This is a comfort food that is overlooked by many because they have never had it before. Trust me, it is worth every penny and you will thank me for the experience.

I had clams on the 1/2 shell that were delicious. Also had linguini with clams. It was a little too salty, but they did leave out the cream which I asked them to do. I have had better. Waiter was excellent.
