Avila's El Ranchito - Seal Beach

They have indoor and outdoor seating. Heaters outside. Fast friendly service. They don't skimp on food for sure. The salsa was fresh and chunky. The refried beans were homemade and creamy. The prices were 15-20 a plate. Great location.

Yummy traditional Mexican food at Avila's El Ranchito on Seal Beach's Main Street! The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty and bought us some time to look over the menu! I ordered the fresh guacamole and chips to start and then chicken fajitas for the entree! Both were so good I would come back anytime! The beach and good Mexican food go hand in hand!! Def worth stopping in!

What a fantastic quaint Mexican restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff is warm, caring and friendly.

I had the Cadillac margarita and a chimichanga that was amazing.

The pricing is more then fair ND I cannot recommend enough this wonderful place to stop for a pleasant meal.

We stopped in here during our long layover to get back home to Las Vegas. The staff was super friendly and didn’t mind us hauling our luggage in while we ate. Everything we had was delicious! The chips and salsa were so good. I had a cheese enchilada and my husband had a chimichanga, we both agreed it was a 10 out of 10.
We don’t have great Mexican food in Las Vegas so whenever we are in California we always look for a great Mexican restaurant, this place did not disappoint. We will come back next time we are in this area.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service at this particular location in Seal Beach we sat on the patio under heaters with our German Shepherd and a few other animals and really enjoyed our food and our drinks. I would recommend this restaurant.

Flavorful Mexican food set in a romantic seaside community. Walking distance from the pier, take a stroll around shops & restaurants. Food here is delicious & has authentic Mexican flavors. Large portions will fill you up. You won't be disappointed!

What a great find - salsa- best; chips- best- prawn cocktail- incredible. Taco Tuesdays is really economical And food so very very tasty.

Best and REAL Authentic Mexican food in Seal Beach. Menu priced reasonably, always busy, customers lined up for a table, so did we.

The owner is a Trojan, fight on! This spot was a Mexican restaurant in the 70's called the Green Pepper, glad to see a real Mexican restaurant return! Salsa is chunky and fresh, and the food is more upscale than other places in the area.

Street side seating was great, food was great, service was great.
The Tortilla chicken soup was recommended by my Uber driver age it did not disappoint.

One of the most delicious Mexican food restaurants I have ever eaten at! I wish I lived closer to it! I highly recommend the chicken flautas and enchiladas.

We ordered nachos they were ok but service was slow however overall experience great would just order something else off thr me lnu.

Omg!!! Everything from entering this restaurant to the service was fantastic. You're greeted upon entering, seated, and immediately given chips/salsa. The food ingredients were fresh, and the portions were huge. We had the best dining experience and will be eating here again.

El Ranchito Seal Beach has the BEST Taco Tuesdays EVER!👍👍👍Prices for food & delicious margaritas are unbelievable. Elyse, the owner, is always there on Tuesday, stopping at various tables throughout the restaurant to make sure her customers are enjoying their food and the El Ranchito experience. She makes every guest feel so special & her staff works hard to make sure their customers are happy !

The guacamole is thick and delicious. It’s dog- friendly with indoor and outdoor seating.

It’s busy often but wasn’t so bad at 1:30. This Seal Beach is our favorite Avila’s. The chips are crispy and not greasy. It was enough to take it home for two more meals.

Can’t wait to go back!

Always stop in when I'm in area. Great food, good portions, minimal wait time and of course great atmosphere. I always learn something new from the locals. Definately recommend!

Service was good even though only 1 waiter/ bar tender attending to the whole restaurant. The kitchen was also great. The wait for food wasn't long at all.
