The Crab Pot Restaurant & Bar

This is definitely one of my new favorite places. The wife and I sat by a firepit, and had a delicious and nutritious bloody mary. We got the works: sausage, bacon, 2 big olives, celery, and a deep fried sof shelled crab. Wow! So good! We also took advantage of their happy hour appetizers which are very reasonably priced. 1/2 pound of spicy shrimp, oysters, and some wings. Our waitress was incredible. She was so nice and attentive. They rolled out TVs for the NFL game so everyone has a good seat. We met some very nice, well-travelled sailors and stayed til the night relaxing and having drinks and great conversation. They have some crazy deal where if you go for the Monday and Thursday games you get AYCE nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, and brats for $25. The $25 gets you a shirt, and as lomg as you wear it you get the deal. Great views of the water, great drinks, and great food! Is this heaven?

Friendly staff. Great views and fast service. The clam chowder was delicious. Got the surf and turf...the steak was sooo tasty. Lobster good too.

A must-dine waterfront seafood establishment! Every time I visit Seal Beach from LA , a visit to The Crab Pot is a must.

During this particular visit, we had the pleasure of Caroline's attentive service. She greeted us with a warm smile and ensured our needs were met. The entire staff at this establishment exudes remarkable friendliness.

Refreshingly cold beverages were served, a perfect complement to a sun-soaked day at the beach. The culinary offerings, as consistent as ever, exceeded expectations. My personal choice includes the 1lb King Crab and a 1/2lb of snow crab, accompanied by a side of corn. The crabs were both flavorful and perfectly fresh, leaving me with nothing but praise for their taste.

And I cannot forget to mention the perfect views of the setting sun over the harbor!

I went here for my birthday. Crowded when I arrived, but wait time not too long. I had a really good time. The food was delicious. I ordered King crab and a couple of other things...too many to name. I liked everything! I definitely want to come back again. I sat outside next to the water. The view was beautiful. The servers were very attentive and awesome.

We came during happy hour with family. One of the staff happily helped my mother and added another table. The staff and waitress were so accommodating. The food was top notch. My parents are recommending it to their friends too. We will certainly be back. We had the Pacific clambake and crab melt sandwich. We were going to go to San Pedro for seafood but this was great.

Awesome seafood and the view of boats and yachts...Great weather, had a heater lamp outside the dining area. Overall worth going out there for the food and atmosphere

I thought this was going to be a hole in the wall but I was surprised by the atmosphere. Very nice while being casual. Ordered the crab, crab, crab and the cajun chicken sandwich (BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE SEAFOOD KAREN). The ambience of the meal came with a freshly baked loaf of sourdough! God Bless America, this place is great. Long wait on a Saturday but like it was well worth it. Our service was great, the food was great, and exceptional place overall.

Oh my gosh, This out of the way place (It says Long Beach) is so cool and the food is TO DIE FOR. Awesome views of the marina, attentive servers and the seafood was exceptional. We ordered everything that we wanted and it all was GOOD from my culinary opinion. This to me is seafood luxury: birthdays and special occasions...

Food was delicious! Our server was awesome! His name is Teryn. He was very informative and polite. Amazing! Food was delicious! We will definitely make the 2 hour drive to eat here again!

The wife and I had lunch on Monday. It was a great experience overall. We were seated on the patio with a nice view of the marina. I could have hit a boat with a tossed roll. We enjoyed the Seafest. Half the fun was getting all messy while eating delicious seafood. Everything was tasty, and Heather, the server, was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back, and so should you.

Went there yesterday to celebrate my daughter's birthday as she is a "Crab addict".
Although, there were some issues with her crab being somewhat lacking, Rick (manager) took care of it and provided a replacent choice and we were all happy and satisfied in the end. We have been coming here for their Crab for a while and is usually pretty good.

Delicious sea food in a very informal atmosphere. Reasonable prices and good selection of drinks. Excellent and attentive service. Free parking, no reservation required for a small party on Saturday evening.

Though parking was a bit of an issue this place is worth a small walk.

You have a great variety for whatever seafood you desire but of course if you are coming out here then the seafood meals are the way to go.

We had a medium sized party and the staff was helpful and attentive (a sign of good restuarant). The draft beer was cold and even if there was not a large selection they covered most of the taste bases so you could find something you like.

A great thing about this place is the options for those who do not care for seafood, burgers, steaks and appetizers are available.

This keeps a party with varying tastes all happy and that's why you're there!

Excellent service, and amazing food!

This is one of those places that I was genuinely surprise how much I loved the food!

My significant other ordered the King Crab Legs. Boy, they were fantastic. She was happy, which makes me happy.

I ordered the seafood fettuccine with alfredo... I was blown away. It was delicious! The alfredo was creamy, and was not tainted by the shell fish taste. The seafood to pasta radio was perfect. It tastes excellent with the sourdough! I've had seafood pasta from San Diego, san Francisco, portland, and seattle. This place is my favorite!

Lastly, the service was great. Our service was top notch. She checked on us frequently. Was super polite, and got us every thing we needed.
Can't wait to come back.

This was my 1st time here but I would definitely be going back! The food was great and I loved how even though it was just aching seasoning the food didn't have that over powering sea salt taste that some places have. We got 2 of the big orders and that fed 5 of us. Definitely worth the money.

Perfect place for anything you may desire, glass of wine by the pier, excellent dinner selection, clamp chowder was excellent, seafood Cipano to die for, sizes are large so watch out. I took bloody Mary it was spicier then usual but great. Wait was a bit longer then expected 45 minutes but it was worth it, for sure there's a 2nd time around

Went there for a friend's birthday celebration. Everything was very nice. The food was great even though I don't eat that type of seafood. They poured all food out on the table. The sweet corn was delicious. The view outside was great, peaceful, warm (had to turn heat lamps off for a minute. The only minor problem was parking close. There were plenty of parking spaces however they just weren't close. I did see spaces close, but they were reserved for Valet parking. I plan on taking my daughter who loves that type of restaurant.

Foods great. Place is great and the waiters are friendly and accommodating. Heaters are there to keep you warm.
