I had the pleasure of buying from Nuvo (Morgan) after winning an auction on Bring a Trailer for a 1974 Dodge Power Wagon. Morgan promptly reached out within a few minutes of the auction closing and was very helpful with answering my questions and managing the logistics of the sale. Morgan facilitated an immediate shipping quote which I ultimately didn't use and instead opted for an epic road trip. When I told Morgan I was flying in to road trip the truck back home (2,000 miles), he quickly offered to pick my buddy and me up from the airport and drive us an hour away to pick up the truck and begin the journey home. Morgan was very open and transparent throughout the experience and I was extremely satisfied with the whole adventure. I bought an older Porsche Carrera that had been fully and expertly refurbished. The price was very fair. The buying process was great. Morgan was totally transparent about the car. He shared the inspection report and repairs done to prepare the car for sale. Morgan even pointed out a flaw in the paint I had missed. The actual transaction was very convenient and quick compared to other dealers I have worked with. I would certainly work with Nuvo again and I recommend them to others.

I reviewed Nuvo, and Morgan on Yelp already, but I want to take the opportunity to post another review now that I’ve had the car for a few weeks because frankly, it just gets better!

Last month I came across Morgan’s ad for a ‘99 Porsche 996 coupe a few days after I had sold my ‘00 996 cabriolet. I wasn’t sure I wanted to jump right back into another 996, but after talking on the phone with Morgan I just knew in my gut he was someone I could trust. I hung up the phone, changed my plans for the day, and headed 75 miles south of where I was to get to Costa Mesa and see the first year 996 coupe in person before someone else had the chance.

Within minutes of arriving at his shop, I was on a test drive in a 22 year old time capsule. The car was solid, well sorted out, and I just knew Morgan acquired this car for good reasons. And as I said before I sensed that I could trust the guy. When I finished the drive I paid him on the spot.

A few days later when I came back to pick it up, as I was driving off the sunroof malfunctioned. Of course Morgan stepped up and had it fixed for me within a few days. Whether I keep it for a few years, or I decide I want to get into something else sooner, Morgan will be the first person I call.

I had the best experience purchasing a car through Nuvo Trade! I was on the hunt for a F80 M3 and I happened to be taking my family to Disneyland and a couple days before we left I found one here. From the first time I met Morgan and seeing the vehicle then having them send me all the paperwork to sign on my phone so I could enjoy my vacation. I would buy another car from Nuvo Trade in a heartbeat! I've never had an easier car buying experience especially being out of town and having them schedule the inspection and also getting the vehicle ready for delivery! We reviewed and basically purchased the car from a distance… and he was very transparent and provided extra details the whole way along. I am in the market for a Porsche and found a listing for a car that fit what I was looking for. Unfortunately its 1800 miles away. I contacted Morgan via email and he promptly replied ready to answer any questions. I am very particular in what I expect in a vehicle and Morgan was more than accommodating in fulfilling all my requests. He sent numerous pictures and showed all the details as if I was in person. He even video called with me to do a walk around and pointed out every flaw inside and outside the vehicle. He also went on a test drive with me aboard on the phone. Morgan is not a salesman, he's a car guy helping buyers find the right car. Nothing was hidden or left for me to find on my own. Other salesman get annoyed at spending the time for a customer to really pick apart a used car, not him. The most amazing part, I told him I was going to pass on the car. He didn't get upset or become rude. The next day he messaged me updates on the reconditioning of some flaws and shared with me upcoming inventory. I'm almost certain that the car that I end up purchasing will be from Nuvo and Morgan.

From all the sales people I talked to in the search for the car of my dreams, Morgan was hands down the most attentive, cordial and very easy to work with. It's not easy purchasing a car from the other side of the Country and without seeing it, but Morgan made it as transparent as possible disclosing everything about the car, even videos test driving the car, everything possible to help me know more about it. When I received my car, it actually was exactly as he described. And to be the car of my dreams, it actually did surpass my expectations, I am more than happy. I was introduced to Morgan through my Mechanic and what can I say? They did not disappoint! I sold my 2018 GT3 through them. I bought this car out of state, site unseen (except for pictures). I was supplied a ton of pictures (including the undercarriage), service records, and a pre-purchase inspection. Yul and Morgan WERE AWESOME! I had been looking for a very specific build/spec'd exotic at the right price point for the last two years. Because Nuvo primarily does consignment deals, the price points are often lower than other dealerships. This means you have to act fast and communicate clearly your intent if you want to get the car you are in the market for!

I was a little nervous at first given I was buying this car online without seeing it in person, but Yul made the process very seamless and comfortable, sending everything I needed for diligence over text. At no point did I feel like I was being oversold. The first time I saw the car in person was when I flew in from Northern California to pick it up! Needless to say, putting 500 miles on the drive back was a blast and was the perfect way to test the car for problems - there were none!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! I recently purchased a very rare and beautiful BMW 5-Series that had sort of been a bucket list car for me and when I saw the listing for this particular car for sale, I inquired about it’s availability and received a reply back almost instantly. Morgan, co-owner of Nuvo Trade Co, texted me back and even FaceTimed me so he could walk around the car for me and give me a brief tour! He was a total pro and disclosed as much as he possibly could about the vehicle. He also sent me the Carfax report within our initial contact. This was my first time buying a car, sight unseen, and from out of state. My dealings with Morgan Gomez at Nuvo Trade Co. have been a complete delight. Spoiler alert, as if the 5 stars hadn't already given it away, I am delighted with my experiences with all of the team over at Nuvo.

Over the last 6 months I have bought and sold a car through Nuvo.The first being a purchase. I had been researching and looking for my new car for months and found Nuvo through the many internet searches I had going. They had one of only two cars in the country that I could find in the color/spec that I liked. The problem, I lived 2500 miles away on the complete opposite side of the country and the pandemic removed any possibility of flying out.

The thought of buying a car without actually seeing it first was incredibly stressful but Yul and his team went out of their way to engage directly with me, take extensive pictures and videos and over communicated ever step of the way. When the truck arrived and the car was carefully backed off it was everything and more that was promised. It was simply stunning and I was grinning from ear to ear.

Even beyond the car being delivered the communications continued ensuring I was completely satisfied and answering every question I had and quickly resolving one minor issue with a speaker.

I know it is a cliche to talk about finding people you can trust in the car industry but Nuvo's philosophy and culture is to be that trusted partner for your automotive dreams. Cars are complicated beasts, they go wrong sometimes, you need to work with people who will be there for you through all the good and on the rare occasion something needs to be resolved. Nuvo Trade Co has proven themselves to be that organization and I can not recommend them highly enough.

In the age of mechanization and automation, most dealerships too, have turned into car selling factories. The car buying experience as we know it fades into the past, hurried along by car sharing, cheap leases, Uber, Lyft, and the rest.

Alas, there is always an exception. Nuvo is one of those exceptions. Like those turning back to vinyl records, or refuse to give up driving with three pedals, Nuvo too refuses to get swept into the plastic churn of the tides.

Having purchased my 911 from him, I can attest that this was more of a personal experience than a transaction. Every step of the process as if dealing with a close friend. He's honest, transparent, and easy to work with every step of the way. I bought my 911 from him and shipped it all the way to Chicago, and this was the best car purchasing experience of my life. That's saying something for dealing across the country.

As for the car, Yul surgically selects only the very best cars around. His inventory is the rarest, cream of the crop condition cars. He would never sell something he himself wouldn't drive for a lifetime. Nuvo is almost a collector exclusive destination.

There are so many shady, small volume exotic dealers that think they know cars because their lot has vehicles with the right badges on them, but they come riddled with poor maintenance and ownership histories. Don't insult Nuvo by conflating it with one of these places.

The owner Yul, is a true enthusiast and a collector first, followed by anything else. Take my word for it: if you have the chance to buy a car from him, do it. You will not be mistaken.
