Vons

I don’t typically go to vons (a little overpriced compared to other supermarkets) but I do hold this place close to my heart because of the staff. Shout out to Kobe lady Dez and Teresa. Great customer service. Will always pop in when I’m in the area to get their deli mango habanero hot chicken.

Very clean, well stocked, polite people working there.
Cashier was amazing, making sure people out there phone number in to get the discounts and gas rewards.
I have been back a few more times, very clean, the people are polite and helping. They have a clearance section too.

We were able to get everything on our list and limited time in the checkout , good service with a friendly employee at the register

All the cashiers at this location have been so friendly. Definitely a little better neighborhood haven't seen any thefters yet

I have no opinion or ability to review the staff as I have only visited a few times, but this Vons holds itself to the same high standard as all the others in terms of keeping up the store. I believe there is a security guard on premises as well, which always makes me feel safe.

Von's has my favorite Ice cream and my favorite rice pudding. They also have a wide assortment of salads in the deli. The also make their own croissants, cookies,pies and other treats. My favorite is ambrosia fruit salad. Great meat loaf too.

One of my favorite places to grocery shop. Food is fresh and the variety is awesome. Prices are reasonable at the moment. Their staff is totally happy and friendly. Nick, the butcher, Trinity, Nicole, Gerard, Heather and Sean in bakery have superior customer service and it is always a joy to see them. Thank you, Vons!

A bit on the pricey side that it is a very well stocked, neat clean store.

My favorite store. Prices a bit higher, not too many customers, keep overall Temps pretty cool. Good parking.

This store is well-located and easily accessible, but still far enough off the main stretch heading toward the beach that it is fairly quiet and frequented mostly by locals from the surrounding neighborhood. It gets the usual after-work rush from about 6-7 PM, but otherwise tends to be a quick checkout.

I had an enjoyable experience at Vons on 17th street, my cashier was Nora, and she was cheerfully pleasant, organized, and knowledgeable. The store was spotless, including the fresh produce, which I found to be equally orderly and inviting so kudos to the store manager as well. Overall, I highly recommend this particular Vons store to all of my family and friends.

Best grocery store in Costa Mesa!

Is this the nicest Vons in Orange County? Even the shopping carts feel expensive. I asked a lady for help and she literally dashed all throughout the store to find me what I needed so that I didn't have to be inconvenienced. Grade A+ customer service. I'm not used to shopping in Newport Beach/Coasta Mesa (the border of both cities) but this was what shopping is all about. Safe, clean, the avocados were exactly right, the produce was on point, and I only wish that I could shop here all the time but unfortunately, I'm visiting on vacation.
One thing they need to add are the Olé Kito friendly tortillas. They didn't have them. The cost for items is pretty high, but then you can get a huge thing of strawberries on sale for $3. It just depends.

Very convenient for not being far from our hotel. Housekeeping gave us directions how to get here and back to our hotel less then 5 min from our hotel ramada inn. Thanks housekeeping get job!!

The staff was nice and helpful. Plus they are in stock with items other markets nearby are not. And they keep their store clean & organized. Definitely will be preferring this store to the others.

I like their specials, very nice. But this morning as I was watching the older guy who was putting containers of fruits and vegetables on shelves not wearing his MASK. I approached him and very nicely mentioned to him about his MASK. He simply looked at me and said I know I am not having my mask. The question is if he's sick and breathing on the products he's transferring it to many people. I am sure that they're not going to remove the stuff from the shelves. I did complain.

Great staff of checkers at this Vons on 17th St. Knowledgeable, friendly & efficient team. Some of the 'OGs' checkers Theresia, Heather, Nora, Keith, Nicole are so friendly and super efficient. The produce department is also great and always try to keep their produce in stock. I'm just really impressed with how friendly and nice the staff are, especially with all the things that's been happening today in 2020. Appreciate all the hard work and remember that the staff are all people too. Give them the respect and love for all the hard work and dedication they do!
