All Creatures Care Cottage

From the first moment I called your office I received excellent customer service. The girl that answered the phone was very reassuring that the doctors and staff had the proper knowledge and experience to properly care for my African Grey Parrot "Casper". I have had Casper for 27 years and this was her first vet visit. My stress level was very high as Caper never leaves the house and doesn't get sick. She had a nasal respiratory infection. Once I arrived I was quickly greeted and helped to a room. The assistant came in and Casper was so comfortable with her that she talked to her. This isn't common as Casper doesn't come in contact with strangers. The doctor was also very helpful. He prescribed an antibiotic and explained how to give it to Casper. He was also very informative about how to improve Casper's diet. They flushed her nasal and handled her with great care. Casper is doing a lot better and I'm extremely thankful.

I’ve been taking my leopard geckos here for over 7 years, before they moved to the building they’re at now. They’ve always made me feel at ease and comforted when my Leo’s were sick. Nothing but amazing things to say about them.

I love the care all creatures care cottage provides for my guinea pig pancho it is very hard to find exotic vets who are knowledgeable about guinea pigs. I bring Pancho in every two months to get his molar trimmed since guinea pigs tend to suffer from dental issues and the veterinarians and staff do an amazing job and their pricing is fair. I'm glad I found this place I recommended it. Thank you All Creatures Care Cottage for the care and love you guys provide for my piggie.

We love All Creatures Care Cottage. They were a recommendation from a different vet that couldn’t get us in when we first got our pup and I am so grateful for the recommendation. Everything from the staff, the doctors, & boarding is fantastic. They’ve treated our pup wonderfully each time we’ve taken him there. As long as we live in the area, All Creatures will be our Vet of choice.

I recently brought my guinea pig to this vet after I noticed her right eye was red & droopy, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the staff was knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to my pet's needs. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment next day.

Dr. Rand Spongberg took the time to properly diagnose the eye area by looking for any hay poke using the Fluorescein eye stain test and prescribed Baytril & Tobramycin to ensure a speedy recovery for the eye infection.

What really stood out to me, though, was the genuine care and concern that the All Creatures Cottage showed for my guinea pig. They understood the unique needs of small animals like guinea pigs and took the time to ensure that my pet was okay by checking in few days after my visit. After one week of medication, my guinea pig is fully healed!

If you have a small animal in need of medical care, look no further! They will provide your pet with the expert care and attention they need to make a full recovery. Thank you again for taking such great care of my piggie. Wheek!

After running into the emergency we did and having our primary vet booked,I was referred to all creatures care cottage. And I greatly appreciate the patience in the staff with my million questions regarding my bird's health and treatment and frantic need for an asap schedule. They where easy to work with and provided options for my budget. Ultimately I am glad the price was low enough I could give her the best treatment given her condition. (And so far she's already had dramatic improvement!). They where honest and upfront on their diagnosis and potential risks treatment brought. A huge thank you to (the nurse?I think?) Who saw us before and after the vet did. She was super friendly and after following her advice to questions regarding diet modifications and so far so good! Fingers crossed for the future. And so much better than our birdie's previous vet. Will definitely be bringing her here instead!

All Creatures Care Cottage is hands down the best vet. You can tell that the people that work there take pride in their work, and that they love what they do. They show so much care and love for the animals. I would highly recommend this vet!

Dr. Spongberg is so nice. He spent time going over our dog's health and plan going forward to keep him healthy. I love that it is a small office and it's easy to make appointments and get seen right away. Dr. S has also helped us with our cat who has allergy problems and recently had a virus infection. She's on the mend now.

Friendly staff and great vet. I take both my cat and my dog here and their needs are always addressed efficiently and with compassion. I can usually get them in the same day I call which is a big plus. Definitely recommend!

"WOW!" My first impression when I called, "Wow," my impression when I had to reschedule. "WOW!" my impression when I took my sick 4 month old beardie to see All Creatures. They took care of Mango, answered so many questions I had about being a 1st time bearded dragon owner, really swooned over how cute she is and provided some of the best service I've seen a minute. So happy to have found them and they will have my business for life.

I brought my new puppy in for his first wellness exam and shots and could not be more pleased with Dr. Spongberg and the entire staff. While it was a little pricier, I feel the utmost care and attention was given to my precious new baby. We signed up for the puppy package and will be continuing to see Dr. Spongberg as our new vet!

The doctors and staff at all Creatures Care Cottage treat my cat like a rock star! Honestly, they all take the time and very kindly explain everything. When we arrived my cat was terrified and howling. After being handled lovingly by 3 different people and diagnosed, we all went home purring.

Brought my little crumb catcher, 'Tater' in for his second round of puppy shots. The facilities were very clean, the front desk crew was friendly. The wait wasn't very long... soon we were in Room #1 talking with a Vet Tech, then Dr. Spongberg who treated Tater with utmost care and answered all my questions, except for the ones I forgot to ask and remembered when I got home (doh!).

Nice that they have a parking garage underneath the building but the spots are tight. If you have a compact car, you'll be fine. Midsize SUV... get ready to squeeze in-between cars. Still, that area of Costa Mesa is a bit crazy with parking so having an option like that garage is still nice.

Puppy package saved us about 20% for future visits and peace of mind. We're happy to be bringing our little 'Tater' to All Creatures for his care.

May bring in our hamster 'Peanut' next as she's looking quite thick.

Dr Behm is so kind! She is knowledgeable and explains things well, and she is patient with all of my questions. I have had so many animals over the last 30 years, and I have been to so many vets. Dr Behm is one of the very best.

Been taking my dogs here for years. Every vet, tech, and human that works here is amazing. They’ve always given my lil’ ol’ ladies the best of heart filled care, provided clear direction, and are extremely attentive.

I had to bring in my daughters new bearded dragon baby in for a check-up. I FT my daughter and the doc spoke to my daughter about her beardie and was so sweet with interacting with my daughter (who is 9) and listening to her questions ( she also listened to my 5million questions and was super patient). I was referred by Maddie from pet smart. I knew from working with Maddie (she is amazing) that this place had to be amazing and it surpassed that. Starting from when I walked in to when I left everyone was so nice and helpful. Even when they call they are thorough and compassionate. I will drive 45 mins for this type of care because it’s worth it. Thank you again for everything❤

The office was clean and organized. We were helped promptly upon arrival. Dr.Sponberg was friendly and patient listening to our explanation of what was wrong. Diagnosed our Guinea Pig and gave us treatment with great instructions.

My guinea pig had a UTI & they made us a same day appointment. They checked her out & the vet gave us treatment options and recommendations based on her condition. They were very transparent about the cost and showed us how much each treatment option was. We ultimately got to decide what was best for her. It was a great experience, especially for our first time at the vet with our pig. Highly recommend & definitely going back!
