Harbor Freight Tools

Really nice and spacious parking lot. Staff were friendly, one even complimented my clothing which was merchandise from a YouTube channel he also watched (donut media.) The floors were very clean, shelves stocked as full as inventory allowed, easy to navigate and isle descriptions were accurate. Staff instantly asked if they could help me find something as I walked in, but I already knew what I needed. One of the best harbor freights I've been in.

I recently purchased the new icon code reader apparently I was the first one to buy one at this location

It's a great price for this project if you are looking to diagnose a vehicle here and there not sure about everyday use as i don't use it that often.

Quality is really good much better then I ever expected and the battery life is great navigating the unit takes some time I had to start over several times unit I figured it out.

My only complaint is the wireless module has to be disconnected between uses for storage and the obd2 plug seams a little cheap.

I have to admit I have a lot of fun browsing this store. They usually have everything I need tool wise and even non tool wise they've got tons of cool stuff. Just got a roof rack for my Tahoe today! Bought a generator 6 years ago that still works perfectly each time the power goes out. Powers my whole house and only cost me 289? Maybe 389? Can't remember. Cheap. Well built. Love this place.

I love Harbor Freight! People have a misconception about them from their past. They have significantly improved their tool quality over the years. They also still have tools that I would buy for a job that I had to do, but it's not my career. I think they have filled a niche that was empty in the market. Plus, their warranty on their hand tools can't be beat!

Ya got my vote! Nice clean store with plenty of parking. Lots of tools and deals to choose from. I liked the layout of the store. They seemed a little understaffed for the amount of people shopping and waiting in line at checkout but the service was great and so were the deals. Not a big fan of online shopping so I was happy to hear there was finally a harbor freight store in my area. My first visit didn't disappoint. Thank you and keep up the good work!

There is a wide selection of tools at very affordable prices. They are easily accessible from the college way exit off of I-5 and the sales people there are very helpful and knowledgeable. There is no reason to go anywhere else for tools. The return policy is the best in the business.

Free flash light just for stopping by. Open on Veterans day, great for shopping the veteran in your life. All the shelves seemed stocked up. A young man asking if he could help me find stuff, so very nice.

I grew up hearing that all of my tools ought to be US made, blah, blah, blah. . . I adhered to this a great many years until life proved it was unfeasible (if I wanted to service my own vehicles, appliances, etc. . .) to maintain such tool elitism. . .

That said, once I came around to the inevitable necessity that I would be better served to have more tools on hand, than fewer of a particular pedigree, I began regularly frequenting Harbor Freight.

This location is my favorite. I regularly shop here and Bellingham, but I prefer the layout of the Mount Vernon location. It also seems rare (though possibly coincidental) that Mount Vernon does not have what I am looking for, in stock, whereas sometimes the Bellingham location does not have what I need on hand.

Regardless, if anyone out there is still riding high on the horse of tool snobbery. . . Remember, a wrench is generally a wrench and most of the historically American brands are imported now anyways. . .

I purchase a car tent and also the extra care plan for it the tent had broken and I needed to use the plan for a new tent as it wa the policy of the plan. The associate was able to locate my plan and with David the supervisors help take care of me and get the new car tent as replacement.

They have just about everything.I got what I was looking for after browsing the whole store twice.Twice just to make sure I didn't want to buy something else. I like it better than blowes or home depot.I wont go to home depot anymore after finding out that the owner supported and donated extensively to a certain political party which is no longer in the oval office.

Love this store! Bought some ratcheting metric wrenchs that held up well, got one (the 10 millie, of coarse !) in a goofy spot and had to pry it a bit to get it out and it popped apart. They replaced the whole set no problem. Not everyday tools but nice stuff for jobbers. If you do happen to use them everyday they have a great replacement program. Keep things dry and lubed and they will treat you well.

I bought a transfer pump from Amazon, it doesn’t work as it’s statement posted in Amazon website, it was very disappointing. I returned it, and found a dual power Bauer pump display in the store, but all sold out. Store manager Tim help me to call around, tried lto ocate one for me, no luck. It took more than a month, finally I got one in this store by help of Tim.
The pump works well, the feature of battery operation helps me a lot.

In 05/24/ 22, I brought my dream 3 in 1, 20 V, Bauer trimmer, fantastic, I am very happy to have it.
For my happiness, I need to thank Mount Vernon Harbor Fright Tool store manager Tim, store staffs Jim, Honiara, Terry…..,they are customer oriented, give our islander( San Juan Islands) extra help.
Bauer tools are excellent, 9 months ago, I bought the pump, it gave me satisfied result. I am looking forward to use my new tool, and send you my review later
One more thing I need to mention is, after I got my cordless string trimmer, too happy to return home to try it, but forgot my iPad in the parking lot plush car. Thanks to the store staffs found it and kept it safe until I return. How can I thanks enough to you guys? You are the best!

Remember, we're rating the store here NOT the inexpensive items they sell. We all know they sell budget tools, some cheap some good. I give the store and employees 5 stars. Always helpful, store is organized and new. Only complaint is corporate never seems to load them up with as-is pallets of discounted stuff like some stores get. Parking lot sales are small as well. But again, it's harbor freight. Lots of free goodies and affordable garage things
