Providence Mission Hospital Laguna Beach

I live across the street from this hospital. I'm currently going through treatment for AML and my PICC line dressing started to come off my skin before I had upcoming blood work. So, I went there on a Sunday and the staff couldn't have been nicer and kind. My FIRST visit there. Thankfully nurse Paul is a PICC line specialist and was able to help me. He's there only 2 days a month, so I was lucky! No one else could have handled it and I would have to go to their ER at Mission Viejo and it would have taken hours. Also, the NP, Joan was SO nice too and I'm very grateful for these two along with the staff. Amazing care and genuine empathy and kindness. Grateful!! Thank you!!!!

Great experience at the emergency room today, the doctor saw me after only 10 minutes of being in the room. The nurses were so kind and supportive. The CT scan was done right away. I’ve been coming here because it’s local. This is the best experience I’ve had after more than 20years of coming here. 5 stars for sure

From my first contact with the security guard to meeting Dr. Adams, everybody was so helpful and considerate. If you have to go to the hospital I highly recommend recommend this place.

Received wonderful care for my wife in the emergency room today. I think our rn’s name was Stephanie but can’t be 100% certain. Our Doctor was excellent as well. Grateful for these heroes that see such awful things all day, and carry out their jobs with compassion and professionalism. Thank you!

My husband was recently admitted for observation and diagnostic testing through the ER. I’ve been an RN for 45 years and I have never worked for a Providence hospital. But I must say, I was honestly impressed with this hospital! I don’t impress easily either.
From the staff including RN’s, PCTs and techs, everyone was professional and caring to my husband and I. Dr Doust
did an excellent job explaining all the test results with us too. It all went so smoothly, from the ER to the admission on the floor through to the discharge. I will never hesitate coming here again for either myself or husband in the future.

Had back surgery was in for 2 days, the doctor and the nurses took great 👍care of me, didn't feel much pain when I was there.

This is a good place to go for medical care. There is plenty of parking and the parking is free. I had a cat scan done in radiology and was treated with respect and kindness the entire time. There was a problem, that was resolved completely during the procedure. A special thanks to the kind man who came for the ER to start my IV for administering the contrast. The radiologist read the scan and delivered the results to my primary care doctor within a couple hours and I now know the next step to take to resolve the issue. I don't always receive this type of excellent medical care so I called and spoke with Hailey, a Patient Experience Coordinator, and let her know that I appreciate the care I received during what for me was a stressful time.

As an employee, I greatly appreciate the care, respect, compassion, and empathy in which my daughter was treated by all staff. The ER was clean and everyone made sure we had what we needed. Thank you so much for making a very hard situation doable. We appreciate all the nurses and techs that cared for us!

Shannon was great to Work with. He explained everything slowly so I can understand . He answered all my questions. He bent over backwards, so many times to help my husband and I out . ER Nurse Shannon*10

Best overall ER I've been through.....Went through the admitting very fast and was roomed right away.. The nurses and Doctor on call were amazing! I've never felt more comfortable and safe. Also the Doctor personally called me three days after to check on me and give me results!!! Love you guys

My 2 year old smashed her fingernail with a large rock and needed stitches. I was there alone with my 2 year old and 10 month old, but the staff helped take care of my 10 month old while I sat with my 2 year old as she got stitches. Everyone was so comforting and helpful. The nurses and Dr. Abdi explained things extremely well to me. I was never in the dark about anything. It was a really great ER experience all things considered.

Healthcare and emergency services done right! The ER night shift and morning shift are amazing. They ran tests until all options were exhausted, making sure I was discharged with confidence. I appreciated the care and the compassion. Empathy goes a long way. Thank you Jennifer, Dr. Paulsen, Petra and the entire imaging and diagnostics department!

I have gone here three times in the past year with my now 4 year-old for various aliments. Today the staff went well and above expecations when he came in today with a head laceration. The staff got him in right away, and the nurse's and aides made him feel comfortable and happy. Dr. Dodge was also very attentive to him and talked to him on a personal level when giving him stitches. He never cried and we were in and out at a reasonable time. Thank you everyone today.

My husband had back surgery on January 30th, 2020. We can not say enough nice things about everyone there. The nurses and care givers were so absolutely wonderful and took all of our worries away.
He has stayed at both Hoag hospital and now Mission Laguna Beach and they are in no way comparable. Mission hospital showed so much empathy and care for not only my husband but me as well. The care he received can not even be put into words. We were incredibly impressed by everyone there. We will always be a supporter of Mission Hospital, Laguna Beach. A great big thank you to everyone who took care of us.

An amazing team of nurses, and an amazing doctor. Everything we could have wished for during an unfortunate visit to their Emergency Clinic. We were from Canada, and our experience here surpassed any of our experiences in Canada's public Healthcare system.

I am blown away by the compassionate, kind, professional individuals in the emergency department. Never in my life have I encountered such a comprehensive staff whose actions demonstrate that they truly care about patients.

Everything from A to Z, from COVID safe admission, the initial greeting, and intake, wonderful care, and diagnostic procedures, great care by all staff and the doctor, smooth discharge with the most comprehensive discharge papers, felt more like a spa than an emergency room visit!

Received excellent and prompt care. Dr. Dodge prescribed treatment, kept me informed every step of the way and the nurses and hospital staff were friendly and professional.

I've have had the "pleasure" of being a patient there in different occassions.There is honestly no other place I would rather have to go for an emergency or to get treated. Fantastic nursing staff. Patient. Honest. Compassionate.
