I have found the perfect person to do my watercolor tattoos! Britta is my favorite tattoo artist! I have already seen her twice! She's does amazing work! I will come back again!

they pierced both my ears very well, no infection and it’s now fully healed after few months, and their pricing is very well versus other nearby shops that I got a quote from, would go to them again for my next piercing

My husband & I had a wonderful first time experience here. The place is beautifully well kept & extremely clean... not at all what I pictured a tattoo shop to be like. The staff is great & very patient when designing your art work. Monte is fabulous! He is talented & takes pride in what he does & his shop. Definitely recommend this place.

Great environment to be at during the whole process. Monte Livingston is one of the best and nicest artists around. They also held a guest spot for Amy Zager, who delivered one of the best experiences I have received from an artist. 10/10 no matter who you get inked by at this shop.

I'm so happy I found Living Art Gallery. If I could give them 10 stars I would. It wasn't just a tattoo, it was an experience. The vibe of the studio is so inviting. In my opinion, tattoos are something that you do not look for a discount, you always want the best! Thank you Monte, you're awesome!!

If I could give more stars in this rating, I would. Matt is an amazing artist, down to earth nice guy, and very talented. You have to check out his work. My daughter and I got matching tattoos, I can't wait to get more work done.

I had a really nice experience working with Matt Edewaard. He was kind and patient and gave me a very special and meaningful tattoo. He had a gentle hand and checked in with me often. I had no discomfort and in fact it was the most relaxed I had ever been getting a tattoo done. I will definitely be back in the future. Also it’s a very laid back and private atmosphere.

This place is awesome! Recently went in for a forearm piece and Monte helped me choose a photo for the location I wanted and created a work of art I’ll be able to enjoy for the rest of my life. The entire experience was amazing and highly recommend to everyone looking for quality work.

I've been tattooed at several different shops now and my experience with Matt and this shop was by far my best tattoo experience. Matt is a true artist and has an intuitive vision of the tattoo I wanted. Additionally, he was lighthanded which resulted in the tattoo healing quickly without any issues. Looking forward to getting more tattoos done at this place.

I love Living Art Gallery. Shop is beautiful and clean, artists are amazing. I asked for a last minute appointment with an artist, who was completely booked for a month. She had a cancellation and Brenna was able to move all the other appointments around to accommodate me. Seriously the best shop I've ever been to.

I highly recommend Brenna! I love my brows! I didn’t think it would be possible to improve my brows since I had them previously tattooed. I was also dealing with an old scar through one of my brows. My sister and I were visiting our cousin at Camp Pendleton and they decided they wanted a nose piercing. We looked up tons of places and this place seemed to be the best in the area. We went, and they got them back pretty quickly. Brenna poked and made their noses sparkle 😜 Everyone was nice, the place was clean and everything went smoothly. We saw quite a few people getting inked, and all the work I saw both on skin and canvas was amazing! I'm definitely considering making an appointment with them next time I'm visiting!

My boyfriend and I came in to consult on future tattoos and get a few piercings. The place is beautifully kept with amazing paintings, sculptures, ceramics amongst other art pieces. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. My piecing artist was amazingly skilled and professional. Had fun getting my piercings! I am going to recommend them to all my friends and family!

I loved getting my tattoo here. Some friends and I were planning a trip out to CA from CO and we all decided to get tattoos while there. Setting up the appointments was very easy, everyone we met there was awesome, and they have a lovely shop there with some really cool art. My friend is still drooling over a painting they have in their main lounge area. I will definitely be coming back here to get another tattoo!

I have been tattooed by both Grant and Austin here and couldn't be happier with the work they did, but they are all very talented artists in the shop. They are honest and if the tattoo you want is not their style they will recommend an artist that will fit the style you want.

I wanted a watercolor tattoo and I searched online for the person that I thought would do the best job, I didn’t just search the OC but LA and Las Vegas also, after looking at hundreds of tattoo artists I chose Britta Christiansen, I could not be any happier with my choice. She is a complete professional, on-time, replies to texts quick, texted me after to make sure it was ok and healing right, I didn’t feel like she took my money and sent me on my way. The staff in the shop were also a pleasure to deal with, completely happy with everyone there. I would not say they are the best in San Clemente, to narrow for me, they are just the best.
