Park Bench Cafe

Situated at the edge of a delightful park with outdoor seating all around, perfect for a sunny day. Great customer service. Small parking lot, but easy enough to find parking in the neighborhood across the main street. Arrived around 8:30A on a Saturday, and there was only about a 10-minute wait. We ordered the salmon Benedict, corned beef hash Benedict, morning Cristo and cinnamon bun pancakes. The pancakes were delicious, get them! Fluffy but with some edge crunch, you won't be disappointed. Also, if you opt for a Benedict, the corned beef hash one was the winner between the two. Will be back!

Friendly and fun. Outdoor seating in a park, dogs everywhere and a nice area to take a walk after a meal. Most menu items $20 bucks, give or take.

Had breakfast here after the Dog Beach. Excellent service by Brittany, very friendly, attentive and service was excellent. Recommend joining the wait list which is accessible through there website, really helps with holding your place in line for a table. Dogs were on their best behavior.

I was honestly pleasantly surprised. For a place that looks like it’s a snack bar at a little league field they produce food that could be from any top tier brunch place on the water. The food was top notch. We brought our dog and he was also thrilled. Their staff is so friendly and they included him in every interaction with our table. We will definitely be coming back.

Doing this place on google maps, it had good reviews and was exactly what I was looking for. It was advertised as being an outdoor dog friendly breakfast and lunch place. When we arrived it was littered with dogs.

If you don’t like dogs, this is not a place for you.

The menu offerings looked great. We all ordered something different and they were all amazing. If we lived here, I’d come weekly. This place rocks and they have a great setting in the park. 5 stars and would give more if I could.

Lovely place! The food is delicious 😋 highly recommend the potatoes they are crispy and serviced with cheese. The food is super filling and the atmosphere is very open and breezy. We walked our dog after eating and it was such a nice experience!

My favorite Cafe! Took my family to breakfast in the park. Alot of other guests but it didn't take long to be seated. Service was great, food was excellent. This was my third visit and was great.

Pleasant outdoor environment. Usually there's a wait but not too long. Limited parking space near the Cafe, but plenty around the park. Morning Cristo is a must try, sweet dough on the outside with salty ham and cheese on the inside. Great friendly staffs. Nice walk around the park after meal. Plenty to do for the whole morning / noon. Highly recommended.

This is a good breakfast spot. It's popular, so there may occasionally be a wait. They have a good selection of items from omelettes to their cinnamon roll French toast. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. They serve lunch, but breakfast is so good that I haven't tried it yet.

Love this place. I have gone for several years now, and love my meal every time. Nice setting, located right in the middle of Central Park, dog friendly, and some of the seating is in a grassy area. Highly recommend brunch here.

Park Bench Cafe is the perfect place to eat with your canine companion. The setup is perfect, tables are spread out and they have water bowls and treats for the dogs. The staff is fantastic. The food is pretty epic. The cinnamon roll pancakes are insane. Slightly crispy on the outside, maybe a little caramelized. The flavoring keeps seeping through as you eat them. The biscuits are oversized and fluffy and the burritos are enough for 2 meals. I love this place and it’s surrounded by a park to walk your dog when your ready to roll home from all the good food.

Omg absolutely the place to go! Dog or no doggo but doggo is recommended. The food was great, good portions, plan ahead, join the wait list as there is limited seating for how popular it is. I love it that way, walk the whole park before or after, arrive after dog beach. They have dog snacks, water, food for them. Such a nice morning or lunch experience. The staff was so nice and everyone was helping each other out which is what we need during these strange times. Unity. Thank you for providing such an experience.

Ate here after our son's early baseball game. It was really good.

Lovely place to have a meal with your pup. There is a nice park area and lake to walk around after you eat with areas of shade to escape the sun. The food was good. Very friendly staff, but service is slow so be sure you have the time to relax while waiting. We can’t wait to go back.

I really enjoyed this unique Cafe in Huntington Beach Central Park... A rare find, a beautiful atmosphere, very dog and family friendly, a fun dining experience and a chance to enjoy natural setting on the city.

This small Socal cafe is set next to Talbert Lake which is a very natural habitat for many birds and squirrels... Between the lake and the cafe is a well manicured lawn the size of a baseball field.

The cafe does have seating on the grassy area and I am told that they can accommodate large parties (up to 50.... call them for verification and details). Seating also available on patio in front of the Cafe as well as small seating area inside for those who prefer the indoors. I see that the Park Bench Cafe would be a great location for a special event!

Central Park is very beautiful, one of Huntington Beach's very special areas. You will enjoy the Park Bench Cafe.

I eaten here twice. Delicious food. Great and friendly service. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s worth it. I had the club sandwich and the Crab cakes Benedict. Excellent. I would recommend this place in particularly because the outdoor seating available for pets.

It's one of the best breakfast places I've been to in a while. The wait can be a little long, but it was definitely worth it. The banana pudding is PHENOMENAL. The cinamon roll pancakes were the best ones I've had this year. There are tons of butterflies to look at while you wait.

Nothing beats a nice relaxing Sunday at the park. Found this place in Huntington Beach called Park bench cafe. Got my self the sunrise sandwich which is eggs , cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and of course bacon 🥓 on sourdough bread. For this hot weather I order a strawberry lemonade slushee. I love the facts you can bring you pet dogs, it’s out in the open and they clean after every customer.

Look, I'm not one to give a 5 star review on most restaurants but really this one is just a banger! Some of the most DELICIOUS foods I've had in a good while. Vegetarian options too! I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and just... Oh it was so good... The wait is usually quite a while, probably 40 minutes on average so, make sure you have time to eat. But I promise you the food there is top notch.
