Found this hidden gem on the way back from Seattle and we are were so impressed! Best service, didn’t bat an eye accommodating our large family which happens a lot to us. Service was so excellent and attentive. The food was outstanding. Best omelette I have ever had, hands down. Everything made fresh and super high quality. Best breakfast ever!

I LOVE THIS PLACE 😩 i flew in from houston and i searched around for good breakfast spots & stumbled upon this gem!!! the service, the food.. the mimosas.. everything?? 10/10. all of the waiters are very polite and attentive. linsey is absolutely amazing also. if you’re ever in burlington, PLEASE STOP HERE!!

Very skeptical at first but finally decided to try it. Let me just say the food and staff were amazing! A great variety of foods to choose from! Their BLT was amazing and I have been back 4 times in the last month. Very highly recommended

Another great find in the area. A little off the beaten track but was well worth the visit. For a breakfast place it really cannot be beaten for quality of food and service. Eaten here now a couple of times and it has always been great. The usual selection of breakfast goodies and they basically make lunch items available as well.

Been there for breakfast two days in a row with different people who all enjoyed their food choices. I asked both days for my poached eggs on the Benedict to be cooked a little longer than normal and Chef made them perfect each time! Highly recommend the Cali Benedict. Hubby had Chicken Fried Steak which was delish! We will have to go for "lunner" (lunch/dinner) sometime soon to try the rest of the menu. Friendly servers too!

We have visited this mom and pop restaurant for 9+ years now. The menu has something for everyone, is fresh and very good. Their salads are the best around. Most of what they offer is homemade and it reflects in the taste of the food. Today we met waitress Crystal Falcon—she was so sweet and attentive to all our requests and needs. She smiled a lot and really enjoyed taking good care of her customers! We will ask for her in the future! She is a wonderful addition to the Curious Chef staff!!

The food was great, big plates, too. Took a little longer to get our order out, mind you it was a Sunday lunchtime. Prices are in line with other food establishments in the area. Inflation is catching up.

Wow, didn't think there were "diner" places like this anymore. Delightful menu with items that, well, are from decades ago... like liver & onions... and excellent soups and simple salads are included, plus classic breakfast dishes. The only seats are in cushy booths and there is a huge parking lot.

We hadn't been here for a few months. 2PM , my wife had her favorite Breakfast, pancakes and sausage, Best pancake's anywhere. I had the ground steak dinner, Gravy, mashed potatoes along with vegetables. All were prepared so well, This is truly excellent food, no matter what you order.

Update! Still one of my favorite breakfast places in Skagit. Great low carb / keto options and always fresh.

Very good food. Get your money's worth for sure, huge Monte Cristo sandwich which is hard to find - very good! Love that you get a choice of fries, salad or fresh fruit!!! And very nice, pleasant staff

My husband and I really love this place. It's become "our place" for weekend breakfast and brunch dates. Good food and reasonable prices that include friendly service.

Friendly service and great food. One of my all time favorite breakfast places. They had me at curious chef. Vegan and Gluten Free options.

Very wide selection of well prepared excellent meals from breakfast thru lunch to dinner. Crispy chicken salad is very good. Cobb Salad even better with grilled chicken blue cheese crumbles bacon olives guac sour cream. My wife loves the turkey dinner plate (so does my cat who gets the left overs). Fish tacos are excellent (mild spicing, you can add hot sauce to your liking).
Apple pie a la mode is marvelous - best apple pie I have had in many years. Other nice desert choices including cheese cake we have not gotten to yet but all look good. Service is responsive and very nice.

Best kept diner, tucked up off the beaten path. Very clean establishment, very attentive staff and very good food! Whether you have breakfast, lunch or dinner you love the quality of food and presentation!

This was our 2nd visit. Specifically because your menu stated you served prime rib on Saturday & Sunday. We were a party of 4 and 2 ordered the prime rib. The waiter come back 5 minutes later to ask us how we wanted our meet cooked. Another 5 or so minutes later, he came back to tell us you weren't serving it today. One of us is on a fairly strict diet and was excited for the prime rib. Needless to say, our group was extremely disappointed. Although the food we got was very good, it was not what we came in for.

I had the Fourth of July waffle special. It was the best tasting waffle I have ever had!

I had Tolmex scramble and my wife had the Denver omelette, both well above very good. High back booths made conversation possible. Service was very good but almost too attentive. We were on an extended road trip but would easily go out of our way if we even get close again.
