If you are planning hosting your event such as a wedding ceremony and/or reception, I would highly recommend you pay very close attention to the noise ordinance nomenclature. I had the opportunity to provide my services as a Dj for a wedding at this venue on June 2023. The mood was ruined when the security staff decided to shut off the power inside the clubhouse minutes before the grand entrance and rest of formalities due to an apparent noise complaint from the surrounding houses. First of all, the complaint was were never brought to my attention by the security team. I had previously spoke to one of the security staff onsite introducing myself and letting him know if there were any volume discrepancies, to please notify me and I would lower the volume. Secondly, my speakers and dj setup were placed inside the venue clubhouse at a low volume; appropriate for cocktail hour and just as I had been instructed.
When the power was shut off by the security staff, this created a very awkward and tense atmosphere even some of the attendees noticed it. The venue personnel made it very difficult to get in contact with and even hanged up on the groom’s mother while she was trying to do her best and reach out to the management personnel to get this situation straightened out. In the past when I’ve dealt with strict venue noise ordinance, they make the Dj or entertainment company sign a noise ordinance waiver where noise decibels are set forth to avoid going over these decibels thought out anytime during the duration of the event. In addition to this, there is a personnel onsite during the entire event with a noise meter on hand. There was none of this the day I provided my services.

Secondly, the layout is very strange. All the tables and chairs are setup outdoors. They do not allow the Dj or entertainment company setup outside due to the noise ordinance. This is very hard as a Dj, since you need to be close and near your guests in order to read the crowd and make any changes as needed. They do provide an option to plug into their outdoor speaker system but this wasn’t helpful at all. The speakers are not loud enough for the grand entrance and formalities. Secondly, you can only have outdoor music until 8pm.
If you can, please do your research before booking this venue and make sure if your Dj has liability insurance since they require proof of liability insurance for all vendors.
