Bowman Veterinary Hospital

I came to Bowman Vet and Dr. Haas because my mini Dachshund was paralyzed. Acupuncture was our last chance to getting her mobile. After six acupuncture treatments she has regained her mobility. She is a little wobbly but she is still showing improvement after each treatment. My regular vet never suggested acupuncture, shame on them! Thank you Dr. Haas you ROCK!

Can’t say enough about Dr. Christine Haas & Bowmen Veterinary Hospital. Just for some context, we live in ROCKLIN, CA, and there’s plenty of Vets between us and Auburn, CA. We travel a lil ways because of the treatment our fur animals, and the care they receive from Dr. Haas and her staff.

She really cares about what she does and shows in her bedside manor when examining / treating our pets. She does so much more than her yearly exams and vaccinations. She takes the time to discuss our pets behaviors, diet, and their usual environment. Guiding us on preventative care vs. reactive care.

I can go on and on… If your looking for a good Vet that is not trying to charge you for something you don‘t need, and actually takes the time to help you understand the importance of prevention to common health conditions, look no further.

Dr Haas is awesome I come from south Georgia just to see her she has a great bedside manner and will tell you how it is in the softest way she can without sugar coating she has been my vet for more then 10 years and is the only vet I trust

After many vets I've found Bowmen to be the best due to their caring easy scheduling appts. The staff is amazing !

Great place! I honestly didn't know about them prior to my FAVORITE VET EVER moving here, but I now travel from Sacramento to Auburn every vet visit. There's a reason I followed her here and she's the only vet on staff, so rest assured, you'll have a PHENOMENAL vet for your fur babies! Since I have been going here, I've now had the chance to learn that ALL the staff is excellent!! They will call the day after an appointment and check to see how "their" dog is doing 😆.... My dog LITERALLY loves going to the vet! He can hardly contain himself when we arrive! He can't wait to get out and get inside to see all his friends/wonderful staff. It truly is hilarious! He's 110 lb Cane Corso and they are so good they are able to give him shots, do blood draws etc. with no problems. Another thing that I love about this place is that they're not pushy and you don't feel judged if you make decisions a little "outside the box" and they work with you to get your animals the best care they can get and it truly is about that for them. Thank you to ALL the staff here!

Dr. Haas and the whole staff are wonderful. She very obviously cares about my dog and throughly explained labs, diet, next steps, etc. She was patient with me asking a million questions and was able to answer all of them. She listened to my worries and put my mind at ease. The vet techs and front staff were also professional and kind.

Everyone was awesome!
Very clear on everything from appointment times to diagnosis. Staff was very helpful, and you did not feel rushed. Explanation of results were to the point and very clear. At no time did I feel I needed more information. I feel I made a good decision taking our pets to this facility. Prices are very fair.

Very nice staff and the vet is good on teaching her clients about why things are needed.

today we had dental surgery for our cat and they were great.

The staff at Bowman were so friendly and competent when we adopted a mama Chihuahua and her two pups during COVID, but it was how they handled us having to euthanize our beloved Border Collie earlier this year that made me appreciate them fully.

This is the first veterinary hospital I feel I can recommend. Thank you.

Bowman Veterinary Hospital is Awesome! They have taken care of my pets for the last 5 years. Jade has such incredible customer care and service, and the vet assistants are incredible. Our dog just had a huge mass removed and the care and follow up was amazing. The surgeon did a great job too and our little Pixi is back to normal and eating again. I highly recommend Bowman Vet.

The best "bedside manner" from any vet i have been to. I transferred here from a vet i was with for about 20 yrs because of the attention to detail regarding my fur family. I had overheard a conversation with the doc and my buddy. Her explanations, tone and the apparent concern for his dog was what brought me to them and when one of my dogs went in for the first time, I was treated in the exact same fashion. I could tell they care about the animals and it deeply shows!

Dr. Haas and her team are wonderful! At our visit, we recieved the most heartbreaking news you can get when you take your beloved pets in to get checked out. My baby girl was 10, and was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer that had taken over. Dr. Haas was very clear on what the cancer was, what my options were, and what the outcomes would be. She did it with kindness and straight forward. While we weren't able to save my girl, the team at Bowman were the best in providing me and Lila with compassion, and tenderness, and gave me the time I needed to grieve. And the sympathy card with handwritten notes from the staff was very touching and personal. I thank you sincerely!

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. I have a very shy dog and they took the time to make her feel comfortable! They are very sweet and you can tell that everyone on their staff truly cares about your animals.

The people who work at Bowman are fantastic! They are so kind and loving to our dog and cat and make over them like they are the most adorable animals they've ever seen.

They explain everything for us and don't make us feel like we are asking too many questions. If you need a kind, loving office to care for your pets, look no further than Bowman!

Our favorite vet works here. We followed her from another clinic to this one. Staff is friendly and things run on time. Check out is fairly quick, and you and your pet will be done in no time at all!

1st impression 10 stars...Doc came up with alternatives for diabetes. Seems to really love animals..not just a job..happy i found Dr Hass

As experienced GSD (German Shepherd Dog) rescue volunteers, my family has worked with literally dozens of vets all over the greater Sacramento area for the last decade. We're not experts, but with all that experience gained with fostering over 90 rescue dogs, we know a good vet when we meet one. So I was very pleased when I recently learned that Dr. Christine Haas had joined the practice at Bowman. After previously experiencing the level of compassion, care and genuine concern she showed for every one of the rescue dogs we have put in her care, she has also become our vet of choice to care for our own dogs as well.

What we like most about working with Dr. Haas is that she is very thorough in her diagnosis and recommendations, and she communicates clearly giving you the information you need to make good decisions for the care of your pets. We have also come to appreciate the fact that she stays current on all the latest research, and can provide sound advice on nutrition, and specialized care methods like acupuncture. At the same time, she will not hesitate to consult with her senior practice principals for advice, or do additional research on a specific condition to help get the right answer. These are the kinds of things you'd hope all vets would do. But it's an amazing find to have someone willing to actually take the time to do them.

Besides our deep appreciation and respect for Dr. Haas, we've been delighted with the service and support from the whole staff at Bowman. The front office staff is super efficient, and polite and will bend over backward to accommodate appointment requests. In particular, Jade has been extremely helpful in following up with our foster dogs.

The other reason we like Bowman clinic is that they are part of a small family owned group of vet practices. This means they have the resources to invest it state of the art technology without becoming part of a massive corporate chain to do so. Due to COVID restrictions, I have not had a full tour of their facility. But from the photos I've see of their remodel, it looks first rate.

I would highly recommend this practice. And for anyone looking for a fantastic vet to develop start a care relationship for your pets with, get an introductory appointment with Dr. Haas. You'll be glad you did!

Really knowledgeable and loving. I felt heard and my dog was thoroughly checked. This vet caught some concerns I didn't even bring up. No expensive treatment. Just good common sense care. I love this vet!
