San Antonio Bakery

Ordered a concha and Guayaba empanadas. Unlike the dry and hard empanadas I’ve had at other bakeries, these guava empanadas were amazing and not overcooked…they were so flavorful and soft, the concha was light, soft and fluffy, both clearly baked fresh today. Delicious!!

A tiny and modest bakery, the women working the front staff were very friendly. I visited on a Tuesday morning around 9am and there was a line but it moved quickly. They have a parking lot on the side of the building. Would highly recommend this bakery, especially for their guava empanadas! 2 for $2.50.

My family’s a very big fan of pan dulce … they’re also very picky with their bread. When I first took them this bread they fell in love. They always want pan dulce from this place now.

Grew up as a kid having this bread, and +30 years after it’s still the best.

I tried from many bakeries, nothing seemed to beat the Elotes and Empanadas de Calabasa. Now, I presented the bread from here to my kids and they love as well.

I like like coming here for the sweet bread Always made fresh 😋 it's so good. The bolillo is also sold here. I recommend this place. The ladies are nice. Great customer service.

The best bread ever!! My dad goes super early and buys all kinds of different bread they have this one that is a circle with like a crust outside idk the name but they are one of the best the pan with mantequilla is so good ! Highly recommend this panadería .

I love this bakery. They're constantly putting out fresh breads and pan dulce because this place is so busy. It is not unusual to have to wait in line outside because it's that good. I was just there last night and got fresh and hot conchas. The line was going into the parking lot at 8 pm.

Amazing bakery sweet bread is so good here, cakes are delicious.... Few days ago I made a last minute order for a unicorn birthday cake it was a success taste and presentation was great...so grateful they were able to take my order ❤🎂

This bakery is one of the best I've tasted. The bread is very delicious since it is baked the same day. Although there are big lines of people at times waiting to get in I just have to say that it is worth it! In addition, it is not expensive at all.

There's no other bread that's even half as good as this one. My family's been going here for over 40 years and it's never declined in quality. Best pan dulce of all time.

I remember I use to come with my parents to buy conchas when I was a kid. Now that I don't even live nearby, I still take the drive to come and buy my bread here. U can't compare!!!!

I'm not sure how many years has place has been open but my grandmother that's 96 has refused to come and she first got married in her twenties. I love this place the selection is incredible the quality is top-notch you never have to wait very long to get served and the prices are really reasonable. If you're anywhere in this area I would highly recommend stop it in and treating yourself so some of the baked goods that they make. One of my favorites is the pineapple empanada

This is the bomb diggity bakery of Compton! It's tiny but so worth going for pan dulce. The best ones are the ones that look like corn with a bread filling inside. OMG they are so good. I don't know what the bread is called. But it sure is good!

I was raised in Compton. Mom would have pan ducle, menudo. Every Saturday morning. My favorite are the Libros. Very airy and flaky. I live in Bakersfield and no Mexican Bakery that I have gone to do not makes Libros. I miss

San Antonio is a family bakery is been in Compton for more than I want to say 30 years I know it says really good bread we've been going there off and on for just about that time the bread is really super good it's I don't know the prices are so so I know they've gone up a little bit the lines get really long sometimes the store gets really super crowded they sell bread tortillas milk coffee jell-o's all kinds of stuff enjoy provecho

Busy, but not rare, delicious bread is worth time waiting.
