California Backyard (Gold River)

Go see Seth!! He is patient, helpful and knows his products. We have been working with him for a couple years now. We wanted long lasting quality outdoor comfort and got exactly that with our OW Lee set. He answers emails and returns calls. He is honest with time frames and delays. We encounter some but he kept our expectations real. Delays from manufacturer not Cal Backyard. We live an hour from this location but prefer this location. There selection is large. They have a great Christmas selection during the season. Thank you Seth and California Backyard!

We recently purchased a Jacuzzi hot tub from Dan at California Backyard’s store in Rancho Cordova, CA. We were extremely impressed with Dan’s knowledge of the products and his dedication to helping us find the perfect hot tub for our needs. I never felt pressured and he answered all of my questions in detail and in a timely manner. As a career salesperson, I appreciated his professionalism and quick follow-up whenever I had a question. He also made sure to explain the installation process and warranty information thoroughly.
Dan was extremely helpful from my initial visit to the store and throughout the final installation process. Dan also worked with Seth from the Roseville store, who prepared an excellent video on how to get started with our hot tub once the installation process was complete.
Our complete experience of purchasing our Jacuzzi hot tub from CA Backyard was excellent. I would highly recommend purchasing your next hot tub from Dan at the California Backyard Store in Rancho Cordova, CA!

Our fire pit wouldn’t light and the Rancho Cordova store was very helpful and Referred us to Jeff Powell in customer service. Jeff was very responsive and helped diagnose the problem in a timely manner. It’s nice having such good local support for a major purchase like this.

Thank you Vino! Today, I was at the Rancho Cordova store and Vino was incredibly helpful as I selected my newest "everlasting Christmas tree." My new tree is home and looking beautiful! Thank you Vino for all of your help and California Backyard for having such lovely trees.

Customer Service Like the Good ol' Days! What an excellent shopping experience from the moment we walked through the door! Each person greeted us with a welcoming smile and question, "How can I help you?" Employees, Tori, Mr. Mike, and Bupe, worked together as a team to help us coordinate and pull together our backyard vision. We will return to California Backyard (Gold River) for future purchases... no hesitation!

Shopped for a new Christmas tree today. We were helped by Tori & Bupe. We were shown all of the trees and with their knowledgeable assistance were able to get a great tree! We have always had great service from California Backyard and know from experience that they stand behind their products! Love this store!

Bought a tree last year and it was and is great. 9’ slim prelit…/best ever. This year I decided to upgrade my stand. Mike and Bupe were a huge help in setting me up with the perfect stand. It took some looking and a trip to the back. Thanks again Bupe and Mike and CA Backyard.

Great place, great selection. Expensive, but it IS a specialty store.

Customer service is alive and well at CBY! My husband and I recently purchased a Green Mountain Smoker from the Gold River location. On getting it home and assembled, it was not functioning. Green Mountain was great about helping us identify the problem quickly, and it was determined that there was a problem with the auger. Rare, but it happens, and not a quick fix that we can handle on our own. We called CBY the same day, and alerted them to the issue. Based on some of the other reviews that we had read, we were concerned that we would have trouble with return/repair/replacement. We were connected with Karen who I believes runs California Backyard's Operations. She was absolutely fantastic! She called us back in a timely manner, quickly located another new unit, and even offered to have it assembled for us free of charge so we wouldn't have a problem. We opted to pick up the new unit from one of the other stores and return the original. The new unit works great! We would have been happy with the experience had it ended there, but Karen went the extra mile and gave us a follow up call the next day to make sure we didn't have any problems. Above and beyond! Thank you, Karen, for turning what could have been an awful experience into a really great one!

My husband and i recently purchased some patio furniture and are very happy with our selections. Most importantly, we discovered that Rebecca as well as Store Manager, Jerry Petkovich, were very easy to work with in ordering what we wanted, delivering our purchases, and taking care of our needs, in general. They have been very patient and accommodating.

I highly recommend this store as you will not be disappointed. For future purchases, I will return to this store in a heartbeat!
