Foothill Child Development Center

My family and I love Foothill Child development center. I was referred here by my sister. She had nothing but great things to say about the staff and everything they do for the kids. My girls had been going through big changes when we started here so I was full of anxiety leaving them with people I didn’t know. The girls are thriving !!!!! My 2 year old is always so happy when I pick her up and talks about how her teachers are her best friends. My 6 year old who is back at school now begs everyday to go back to Foothill child development center! Ms Ellie, Ms Pauline, Ms Lori Ms Sylvia , Ms Tina…. I can go on and on! Every single staff member goes above and beyond! I love starting my day by seeing Ms Lori and drop off! She cracks me up and always puts me in the best mood! I cannot recommend this place more to anyone!

I went back and forth for months trying to figure out when my daughter could start attending this facility and I have to say that Pauline & Ellie are truly wonderful to work with. They were extremely helpful, communicative and kind. They were very flexible with offering tours and were also very understanding when it came to trying to work with my ex husband’s preferences. The only reason my daughter was not enrolled was because of a last minute acceptance into Montessori after she was was waitlisted. The security, cleanliness & professionalism of Foothill Child Development Center was what sold me as the alternative for my daughter and if my situation changes I would absolutely enroll my 2 year old here. Big thanks to Pauline and Ellie for their warmth and professionalism. 🙏🏼

We have our two boys at Foothill CDC. Our older son started at 5 months old - almost 3 years ago! Both our boys love their teachers and are truly in a loving and enriching environment. The director Pauline and asst director Ellie are both fantastic. Both our kids attend full time and our older son attended full time all through COVID. They take cleanliness, sanitization, and CA regulations seriously and I have always felt my children were safe and well taken care of.

I also love the creativity, arts and crafts and curriculum for each age. I feel like my kids are socially developed very well. The teachers and center as a whole have become a big part of our life, Several of the staff members have been around for 3+ years and watched over both our boys, and that goes to show what a great positive environment has been created here. Because of this daycare my kids have been potty trained, transitioned milks, helped nap schedules, taught counting and ABCs and so much more.

They also provide all food, and even baby formula. They even do before and after school drop off! Although daycare is expensive, it was one of the more affordable ones we looked at. I honestly don't know what we would do without this place!!!

I Loved My Experience With Foothill CDC & my son loves it even more they made me feel secure with being a first time mom and leaving my baby in their care & I would do it all over Again no amount of Thank you I can give to Ms. Pauline & Ms. Ellie & all the staff especially the infant & toddler class they worked with my crazy schedule & always was happy to see my son walking into class I’m sad about our move cause I didn’t want to remove him but I’m glad that removing my son will give another child & family the amazing experience we had with foothill cdc HIGHLY Recommended 10/10 we will miss Foothill Child Development Center Thank You Guys For Having Us!

This preschool/daycare facility is the best!
I went here when I was a child, though it was under a different name, Kids Garden. I was surprised when I moved back to the area, that it was still around and that they had some of the same staff!

My two kids have been attending this daycare for years now.
My son started at two years old (in preschool classes), and my daughter at seven (in their before and after school daycare program).
Every single staff member has been great to my children and I.
Here are some reason why I think they are great and would recommend others to send their child(ren) here:

1. The front staff, Ellie, Pauline and Lorie know EVERY single parents name and their child(ren). Everyone is greeted, by name, as they walk in the door (adults and children). Often times, a more personalized conversation is held.

2. The before and after school program is exceptional! I was worried about having to send my kids to different places because there are many facilities that do not have a both preschool and before and after school program. This one does! I can drop my kids off and pick them up at the same spot, which makes my crazy life a bit easier.
For the school aged kids, (who attend school in the area) they offer drop off and pick up to and from school. Yet another plus!

3. The preschool really prepares kids for the next step, grade school. My son who started when he was two, is now 5 and is enrolled in Kindergarten. He tells me the thing he likes best about his school now vs the preschool, is that they do less work in Kindergarten and everything is easy! Mrs. Pam and Mrs. Lorie in the 4yr old class do an exceptional job at preparing these kids for grade school. My child went into Kindergarten able to spell and write out his name, counting, all letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case) and more!

4. Safety, they have a locked door at all times and make sure that only those listed on the emergency contact information are able to pick up your child. In the event of an emergency and someone else needs to pick up your child (as has happened to me before) they are very professional and request permission in writing and make sure that the person has photo ID on them before releasing your child.

5. The facility is nice, clean and perfect for all the ages they care for. Inside the building is colorful, large windows into every class with children's beautifully displayed artwork. Outdoors they have multiple playgrounds suited for both younger kids and the older ones in grade school.

I plan to keep my kids attending this daycare for as long as possible. They are great. If you are looking for a nice place for your child(ren) to attend, check them out!

After taking my children to 3 other local care facilities, I finally found and LOVED Foothill Child Development Center. It fulfilled everything that I felt other facilities lacked. The administrative team is amazing and the communication is excellent. Even during this pandemic, Mrs. Pauline has ensured all safety measures are met and go beyond expectations. The facility is clean, safe, full of positivity and the entire staff knows how to work with the children. If you want your children to have structure with curriculum based activities to help them learn, get served a healthy lunch and overall thrive, then this is the place to go!!! The Entire staff is excellent!!!

My child started attending when she was 3 years old, she is now 5 years old. The things she learned during these 2 years have prepared her for Kindergarten very well. Mrs.Pam, the Pre-K teacher has been Our Savior. She is the reason our daughter has entered Kindergarten knowing how to write her first and last name in appropriate format, Identify her shapes,colors, phonics, days of the week, months of the year, sight words and addition. Mrs. Pam/Ms. Lori have provided her with a positive outlook to early education and my daughter enjoys doing her school work because she understands it and that gives her confidence. Thank you, Mrs. Pam.
Now, we have our 1 year old attending and she’s been there for 7 months and all we can say is wow!!!! The interaction with other kids and the teachers in her class have helped stimulate her creativity and her language. She is now talking more, identifies some of her colors, learning to count, says please and thank you, etc. All of the sensory activities and positive staff encouragement are helping her learn. Thank you to the entire staff in the “Infants room”, you ladies ROCK!!!

My two kids both come to this amazing establishment. We are very peculiar about where we take our kids. And this facility is nothing short amazing. And as for as long as we can we will continue to take our children here.

Extremely professional, caring and kind-hearted team of people who took wonderful care of our daughter during her early years. We will always be grateful that our daughter was able to have this experience at such a positive place from the ages of 1 through 3.5. Thank you to Pauline, Ellie and everyone at Foothill CDC. My 4 yr old son has been coming here for almost 2 years and he loves it. Ms Ellie and the director Ms Pauline are very sweet and helpful and kind. They know all the kids by name as well as the parents. My son is in Ms Pam and Ms Lori's class and he absolutely adores them. They are very good teachers and treat my son with love and kindness and he has learned how to write his name with his teacher's help. The facility is very clean and well organized and everyone has a positive energy. All of the teachers know my son by name and are always saying hi to him and he loves everyone there. We will be enrolling my middle son within the next couple of months as well. If you need daycare for your kids, this is the place to go!!

My daughter has been here almost 3 years and it was our best decision as parents to bring her here. Now my sisters child attends the daycare and she also loves it. We live in Rancho Cucamonga but we found this place in Upland and are willing to drive the extra few minutes. The prices are very good and the staff are amazing people. They are super friendly and consistent. Same workers for years. The director is extremely friendly and very professional. Always calls provides incident reports if anything happens.. Great location in the back of a lot which avoids any other traffic other than parents. My daughter has learned so much here. She came home with new words and skills everyday. Thank you so much to all the staff!

My grandson has been attending FCDC since the infant center opened, and I wouldn't feel comfortable sending him anywhere else. The entire staff is wonderful and welcoming. The infant/toddler teachers care for my grand baby as if he were their own. He is excited everyday to go to school, and smiles when I mention his teachers by their names. I can not thank the staff enough for the energy they put into the children and into making the school a warm safe place for parents to leave their children!!

I been bringing my Daughter here for about 1 year now, and I honestly couldn't be happier.
This is probably the happiest my daughter has ever been Out of any school/child care center she has gone to.
The center is amazing with children and you can tell the kids love the teachers.. it's not your typical "baby sitters" as most day cares can tend to do, these girls are very hands on and actually take the initiative to teach the children.
Ms. Pauline & Ms. Ellie are the "go to" in the center, the ARE both amazing individuals and are even greater with my Daughter.
If you are considering or in need of a child center please go check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Yes it's a bit strange that it's literally behind shakey's, however I feel it's in a perfect spot, away from the busy street and its secluded.
Each classroom is visible through the main hallway and the main entrance remains locked at all times.
The school was built perfectly.

My 2 year old just started here on December 2nd and I love it. The teachers and staff here are so loving and compassionate. They understand and are very capable of caring for the different age groups. Best decision I made was to switch my son to this school. This facility is heaven sent.

My kiddo has been here for almost two years and he really enjoys going. They have an awesome pick and drop off program that gets your child to and from school safely and timely. Their business hours are very accommodating and they promote child wellness and overall growth and development. They also stress the importance of respect for others and have many children of different cultures attending..

Our experience here was awesome! The staff is wonderful and very involved! They made us feel very welcomed everyday. Kept me up to date with how my daughters day was and prepared her for an easy start to kindergarten! Thank you foothill child development center!

I love picking up my granddaughter from preschool she's always happy and loves her friends and teachers and I love the fact that they actually teach them and get them ready for kindergarten teachers are really nice and always greet you I just love the environment , two ladies in front office are great and always willing to help you with anything . I highly recommend this school .

My daughter Leana has been going here for over 2 years now and they have a great preschool and daycare program. ms. pam and ms michelle are a delight, and my child could not be happier. The ladies in the front are always kind and have helped me with any questions I had. The prices are great and couldn't ask for more, I would recommend this to anyone looking to put there child in daycare or preschool.

I Love this place! The staff is so Awesome. My grandson has been there for a year and a half, all the teachers are great and the staff treats you like family . My niece's and nephew's went to this school 19 years ago and some of the staff is still there . I highly recommend this place!
