Taos Footwear

Wow wow wow. I am so impressed with Taos Footwear. I have seen ads for these boots for a couple of years now, and always found myself saying, "There's no way they can be that comfortable & that good looking."
With a trip coming up to Europe, I decided to take the plunge and try them.
I purchased the Crave boot in black- size 38. I am a 7-7 1/2 and got the wide version, because I have flat feet, but they were too wide for me, so I returned then for the standard width.
I wear them with a thick sock, so my next pair, I'll size down for a thinner sock for warmer weather.
They are incredibly comfortable. I started wearing them a few hours a day thinking that I would break them in before my trip, but they didn't need that. I have been wearing them 8-9 hours a day and they are as comfortable today as they were on day 1.
I've had a variety of foot issues over the years- flat feet, plantar fasciitis, torn achilles tendon... and so finding comfy footwear has been a challenge.
These boots feel like comfort so much that if my feet hurt, they feel better when I put the boots on- not even kidding- they are a miracle of technology and they are stunning to look at.
Thank you Taos Footwear for giving those of us with foot issues some hot, sexy boots to wear!

Great shoes yeah!

I bought a pair of Taos wool slippers because I thought they would have good arch support. I previously had a pair of felt slippers from another company and loved them but after 4 years of wearing them everyday they finally wore out. I have had the Taos wool slippers for 4 months and they already have a big hole in the felt. The felt is much thinner than the other company slippers and not as soft. I'm very disappointed. I was hoping I would love these and that they would have better arch support but they really don't. Both companies are the same price so I will purchase from the other company in the future.

The company cherry pics which reviews they'll post to their website, and as expected, favors positive. I bought a few pair from them for myself and family, not cheap shoes. The last purchase, they invited me to send them a review. I took the time to write an honest review that I believe would be very helpful to others - what a waste of time on my part. I'm sending this review out there and will not shop from this company directly or indirectly again.

By far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Our package got lost in transit.

This is 2+ weeks after the scheduled delivery date, and Taos should be contacting their parcel service to investigate:

Email communications with Taos are bots sending the tracking number again or telling you to check to see if the driver hid the package somewhere instead of actually looking up the tracking and seeing that it never arrived.

Try to call them and talk to a person? Nope...Just leave a VM and wait for them to never call you back.

Chat support? Only if you like canned responses from a confused bot or a rep who doesn't care.

We gave them hard earned money for something that never showed up and Taos footwear could care less.

It is obvious that someone there put a lot of time and effort into crafting their customer support department into something so bad that it is almost comical.

*Edit: I finally got in touch with a person and our order was refunded.

I ordered a pair of shoes online. When I put them on, they were way too tight. I tried to return them and they told me, too bad, they were on sale, no returns on sale items. So I’m out $80. I feel like they basically stole my money because I got nothing I can use out of it. They could at least have exchanged for something that fits.

Having read many of the reviews, I totally agree. They advertise how comfortable and healthy their shoes are but they feel horrible on my feet. I paid close to $100 and because they were on sale (no wonder) I can’t return them. I do not recommend this company and would never go back.

Save you $$$ and buy some boot’s elsewhere. Extremely uncomfortable and very unhelpful customer service.
