Harbor Freight Tools

Generally, extremely helpful people here. Reasonable prices and good quality tools are available. U.s. General tool boxes can't be shipped to you, but a forklift is available for loading them up.

What's not to love about harbor freight. Always greeted and thanked for my business. They have tons of tools at low prices. Good warranties. I sometimes stop in even if I don't need anything, just to see what's on sale. I'll keep going as long as they keep the savings strong.

All the years HF has been here this is my very 1st visit. I tracked down the ideal Battery Charger for me (after my VW engine "Ate-Up" the old one - Freaky) there & snatched it right up. The young man at the cash register helped me in the proper professional/knowledgeable/mannerly way one would expect at such an establishment.
Only one "problem": Adventuring through such a "Disneyland of Tools" etc I didn't want to Leave (Closing Time) !

Richard was very welcoming with every customer and catered to my needs and questions. Great employee to represent the company!!

The staff was extremely helpful. Made sure I was finding what I was looking for and quickly. The cashier was cordial, informed, and asked if I wanted warranties on items I purchased. Also make sure I was getting their circulars and coupons at my home. Best harbor freight experience to date.

Hand powered tools are best deal in town anywhere in America.

Rest of the stuff milage may vary but in general u get what you pay for here.

My new "Favorite" store. It has everything you could possibly want or need for maintaining your home. Customer Service by Nathan was outstanding. In our highly automated world, it was a breath of fresh air to have a competent and professional young man help me. Thank you also this Rusty and you Arlene! We are very happy with our new electric lawnmower.

Store well laid out, friendly and helpful staff, great prices.
I go here for all my workshop and home studio needs.
Also, it's much more "personal" than going to Lowe's or Home Depot, trying to navigate a 200,000 square foot mega hardware store that seldom has employees you can locate. I end up spending half my time looking for stuff, and the other half of my time trying to find somebody in a blue (or orange) vest, who actually works in the department that I'm looking in. Usually they tell you that they're on a break...or that they work in a "different" department, so they tell you they'll call for someone who DOES work in that department you're in, to come and help you...and that person they've supposedly called NEVER shows up. You wait and wait and wait, until the second coming of Christ.
I hate dealing with Lowe's and Home Depot.

Love This place! Love my free gift and my 20% off coupons. I can spend hours in this store. I love that they have mini size to I need. I got my little mighty mite table saw and my mini vise and mini grinder/buffer there and they are perfect size and work awesome. None of them are bigger than a toaster. Perfect for what I need them for to do do my crafts, woodwork, lapidary, or repairs around the house. I'm a member so I get special deals which has already payed for it's self. My only complaint would be to have the staff ask if you need some help a little more often. I stood in the isle trying to figure out prices cause things were in the wrong spot but other than that no complaints. Oh and they back their tools up so that's always good to keep in mind.

I experienced a tragic special order conundrum, but Kathy went above and beyond to make it right. I will continue to spend my money at Harbor Freight in SLO versus the surrounding stores.

Their reputation for "cheap" is well known, but cheap doesn't mean low quality! Harbor Freight has really good useful stuff, most of it priced far below other places. I usually find something I didn't even realize I needed on every visit!

Friendly staff and prices are appropriate for the quality.
Weekly deals and holiday specials seem to happen often which is always a plus when stocking up on little items like teflon tape or zip ties.
Needed a quarter size battery and it was cheaper here than Amazon.

A great location near several auto parts stores, a doughnut shop, a sandwich shop, a hot tub place, some oil change shops, etc on South Higuerra in SLO town.

I dont go here often but the few times I have were fun they definitely have what you need and for amazingly low prices on allot of things. Also a very clean bathroom as well which is very appreciated
