I bought an adapter from them and when it didn't work the store accociate helped me troubleshoot step by step to make sure I could walk away with things working properly. Totally went above and beyond what they needed to do, and the knowledge and care they have really shows.

I have a 20 year old radio frequency tracker to monitor my cats on my 3 acre fenced property. And it STOPPED WORKING. In a panic, I searched for repair shops bc the manufacturer went out of business. Eric responded immediately to my msg and was able to fix it within hours! He even warmed my heart with other lost pet stories and made my entire experience enjoyable. Very few places on SLO to have a watch battery replaced. Coast Electronics not only carries watch batteries but offered to install as well. Excellent customer service and friendly too.

Stopped in with my laptop on a Saturday afternoon & Kevin provided excellent service. He persevered in between customers to diagnosis & fix my problem. Even though I have a contract with Geek Squad, I went to Coast where I got same-day service. Now same-day service is improbable at Best Buy Geek Squad and not always doable at Coast, but in this case it happened and I’m grateful!

Best place to go for your electrical project!!! I've been there to get misc parts for an arduino project and an electronic skateboard project. When I explain things to them they know exactly what I'm looking for, huge help. Love going to the slo radio shack

Yesterday I had an urgent technical problem regarding a DJ mixer and had no luck with a solution on my own. They were helpful with diagnosing the problem as a power chord issue rather than an internal issue and helping me with a solution. High quality.

Asked for a unique connector from a 9v power supply to headphone amp. He grabbed the parts and custom made it on the spot. I admit I wasted time looking a Staples and Best Buy on my way to Coast Electronics.

Yes, Radio Shack sort of lives on. Great little electronics store, computer cables and accessories, ham radio and hobby/maker/STEAM goodies. Had a cable I couldn't find at Best Buy or Target. WooT!

Eric the manager is a super helpful guy with years of experience. He's always my go to when I'm building some crazy project that'll probably end up killing me otherwise.

This place is great, got me the Bluetooth USB I needed for my computer and the employee is a longtime worker, very reliable and fun to shop with.

I am beyond happy to know that this place exists. Great service to boot and the only place I could find the cable I needed.

this is the only place that still sells Radio Shack products, but they have FAR more than RS ever had!
