I'm surprised there are so many negative reviews, so I'd like to add my experience.

Saw Uncle's CD promotion of 5.25% and went in to take advantage of the promotion. Lady was easy and pleasant to work with. During the CD account setup, found out my credit was locked, so had to come home to unlock. The next day went back and completed the process. Everything was saved and ready for us, making the process painless.

Based on this, I'd definitely consider banking with UNCLE.

My husband just had the worst experience here with the branch manager Cindy. He frequently goes to this location to for his banking needs and has never felt like he was harassed but today was different! He walked up to her window and instantly felt tension! No proper greeting from this women who is supposed to set an example of what customer service is to her staff. He
handed her the normal ID and she said she needed additional verification which was never asked of him before. She proceeded with the transaction without the other forms of verification which was pointless of her to ask for if she was just going to complete the transaction anyway. He called the branch to report his experience and she picked up the phone and stated that nothing was going to happen to her anyway! She definitely needs to be reprimanded!

Today was my first time stepping into this branch and definitely the last time ! Teller Rebecca helped me she had stank attitude for no reason. Idk how Patelco could be sister branch with this place. I’ve always banked with patelco and always will i rather drive 45 minutes than be helped by a teller with a stank face and attitude.

This branch needs to scrutinize their tellers a bit more during the hiring process.

Woke rude employees have no place in a bank that works with the public! We are about ready to move our account. The younger Asian American teller w the blonde hair seems to always be curt, scowls, rolls her eyes and snippy with customers. The behavior is pretty shocking in that her manager hasn’t talked to her about it. It is not just myself noticing it, but when my wife goes on she notices it too.

We had a case of debit card fraud, and when we came to the branch in December the above mentioned teller was pretty distracted and rude. We came to find out over a month later she made a mistake in helping us to get a new debit card and report the issue with our account. So when I returned in February to fix her mistake and get our debit card ordered (again) as she failed previously she got upset when it was politely mentioned a mistake was made (she made) we still don’t have our debit card a month and a half later. After she rolled her eyes and decided she wasn’t even going to make eye contact looking away ticked off while I was trying to explain the issue, that was enough I ended the conversation and asked to work with the branch manager directly.

How can a bank hire a teller that is rude to the public and what’s worse makes mistakes like she did on our account.

Very bad customer service.
Teller name Andrea seems like lost or doesn't understand.
No thank you ,
Even when I said thank you no reply or smile .
My last time to be there no more .
They should learn from other banks like wells Fargo, Golden one credit union and safe credit, how to do better customer service.

I've tried several times to reach out to collection department about an error on their side that affected my credit. I've had several paid of autos without missing a payment and I just payed my truck in full and it shows I'm delinquent. Every time I call, they are in a meeting or at lunch or left home. I've called in the morning noon and afternoon. Yet no one is available. I'll take my one star off after someone reaches out and helps me properly.

Liz, the Asian teller is the most horrible staff she is raciest to members always unprofessional she yelled at me for no reason threw my state ID at me,I’ve heard a lot of complaint about her before I encountered her. I guess she hates her job. The management should look into her case or better still retrain or replace her. She thinks she is doing members a favor. I felt like taking all my money out that day but just because I’ve been a member for years.

I’ve been trying to connect with someone for 2 days now regarding my loan. I’ve spent probably 3 hours on the phone since yesterday and STILL can’t get a representative on the phone. The live chat doesn’t work and your emails will get bounced or ignored.

I went there the eve of Christmas eve with just short of an hour before close. I needed and checking and savings account opened. I was the last person in the place and there was more than one teller behind the thick security glass. One would think it would be no problem to get my new accounts. But no, they wanted me to come back in on X-mas Eve in the morning. They saw I was on a bike, but I guess they've never had to ride one anytime they need to go somewhere or else in sure they would have thought twice about blowing me off right then. No I would not return to give my hard earned money to reward lazy, unempathetic, and lackluster people!

By far the worst credit union I’ve ever used in my life. Horrible customer service. Horrible bill pay. The app is a joke. The website is a joke. I’ve had over 30 loans and I will never use uncle again. Golden 1 for the win. Run away!
