I was looking for a Whole Foods and my relative said there are none in Stockton, and I was like, what?! She recommended Safeway.

Safeway In the Lincoln Center has an impressive organic vegetable section. Dino kale, regular kale, cilantro, purple beets, mint, cucumbers, ginger, fennel bulb, celery, carrots, and red chard all were high quality, comparable to WF. Unable to locate fresh turmeric. Found a dozen cage-free eggs for 50% off. Avocados were 2 for $4 which was a price shocker as I can find them for $1 apiece in Massachusetts. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. I asked three employees for help and each one of them walked me to the section I was looking for. Cashier was efficient and helpful. I only have one picture inside the grocery store as I was very focused on getting the shopping done.

August 13, 2022: There was only one person working in the meat department around noon, slicing meat.

Love the employees and they are always good with having a lot of items in stock.

Great place to shop, also the pharmacy and pharmacists, always willing to help with any questions about your medications. Store staff is awesome 👍.

Safeway’s handmade sandwiches are always delicious and a good purchase. However, the Reuben sandwich that Bam made left an indelible mark on my tastebuds and memory. The time and care spent crafting the sandwich, and the conversation that ensued were memorable too. Bam knows how to make a stellar sandwich, and I recommend experiencing it for yourself.

I recently shopped here for an Instacart order. I haven’t been in town in years so I don’t remember this store well. Everyone was so helpful when I had question. Special shout-out to Marcus for going above and beyond to help me locate an especially elusive item. Thank you!

Me and my son bought 2 deli sandwiches made by "Bam". My pastrami sandwich she made me was BOMB!!! THANK YOU BAM 😊

Normally I don't give reviews but Bam you did it girl. This sandwich is so fire I couldn't stop eating it after I was full. Best I've had from any sandwich shop. 10/10

Clean , great selection on products!
They do have a kiosk for the DMV, which is fantastic but was out of service & only takes credit cards when it is up & running.

This Safeway is always clean and well-stocked, and when I'm looking for the best quality meat and seafood in town, I always come here. The employees here are very professional and there's always a feel-good vibe here, also their floral department is top-notch!

Best store ever when I don't have a messed up cart. Lol The workers are very friendly and helpful, and the club prices are comparable to stores where you have to bag your own groceries. I highly recommend shopping at Safeway. :)

Great sale price for atlantic salmon fillets

Safeway is the place to go for flowers, fresh baked goods and Deli is their speciallty. It even has a Starbucks inside and seating to enjoy and sip your favorite beverage. Safeway offers a gas station in its location. Plus it's located in S. Lincoln Center among other shopping stores. It's a one-stop shopping center!

Safeway has always been a bit pricey for my liking BUT they are open until 1AM, they have a good selection of almost anything you might need INCLUDING Starbucks (4 those who do NOT know Starbucks honors SNAP when it is located inside of Safeway) and they have Boar's Head Meat's which I seem to really like! But again a bit steep to be a main grocery store 4 me! Just saying!! I forgot to mention that they have a pretty good bakery also!!!

This review is for the team that handles curbside pickups, Fridays, around 5PM to 6:30PM. I am beyond impressed with the exceptional customer service received. Vanessa (associate) has been amazing! She delivers the best customer service, alongside her manager! They have gone above and beyond every single time. As long as they continue to be there, I will continue using curbside pickup with Safeway at Pacific in Stockton. I hope Management reads this review and recognizes their extreme satisfaction to customer service and the hard work they are putting in.

Helpful employees, items kept well stocked, plenty of parking. No wonder it was busy but steady. Shopping carts were somewhat scarce but we manage to find one by another courteous customer as they were finishing up. Safeway gas station nearby was also a plus if you have those points that go toward the pump. Our shopping experience was a pleasant one and we will be back again on our next trip out for groceries.
