I'll definitely be back! The sandwich makers and cashiers gave excellent recommendations and made incredible sandwiches. I got thre Hank with dutch crunch bread; it had a good spicy flavor. My husband got the long board. It was easy to find parking in the back and we were able to sit on this nice patio

Konas Deli is one of the best deli places I have ever been. The white bread is so good. It tastes a bit like a Kings Hawaiian roll. The meat and cheese are so fresh and delicious. I am obsessed and will come here every single time I visit SLO. They offer friendly service, clean bathrooms and great indoor/outdoor seating.

This place is Ahhh-mazing!! Gluten free, local, and regular bread options!! They will change gloves and sando making counter/slicer if you need GF contamination lowered! Great sando selection. Yummy drinks, some alcohol. Indoor and outdoor seating and specials each day!! Happy hour too 👌🏼 only really great sando place in SLO still IMO. Can be very busy weeks surrounding when The College Kids come back

So delicious. Third time stopping here on a road trip. The meat quality is good, and the sandwiches can be customized. Be sure to get “the works” - extra tasty. They are GF conscience and have GF bread.

Picked up sandwiches to go on our way to San Francisco from LA. Friendly staff. Knew to ask if my gluten free bread was an allergy or preference. And even better, knew to toast the bread twice. Hours later the sandwiches still tasted great.

Kona's is your standard deli shop, and that is why I love it. Their quality is consistent, the portions are huge, and you get to watch them cut your meat and assemble the sandwich right in front of you. They have deals every day of the week which is awesome. Their sandwiches on the menu are really good options, or you can assemble your own which is great for the more picky people out there. The staff is also really friendly and I'm always seeing the same people in there which makes it feel like a small town restaurant.

After all these years visiting Kona's I've never been disappointed by their sandwich quality. They've set a standard and managed to maintain it seemingly forever! Good job y'all! I do miss their classic sandwich, #2. That was my favorite. I wonder, can they still make it?

Just wanted to leave a quick review and say this is my Go-To spot in SLO whenever I come back to visit. I was a frequent customer as a student and Kona's is by far, the best sandwich spot I've been to anywhere. Always stellar quality ingredients, really fresh, delicious, and gigantic sandwiches. I can finish a full sando in one sitting because it's so good, but it's easily 2 meals. Same owner since I was a student and the place is amazing. Good to see it was still getting customers during the pandemic when I went today. I don't know what I'd do if they ever closed!

My favorite sandwich place of all time! I’ll definitely miss this place when I leave SLO. “The works” is everything I love on a sandwich. And the best part of Kona’s is that they are consistently so good. I’ve never gotten a bad sandwich and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Great place for sandwiches just as good as High Street Deli

Excellent sandwiches at great prices. Now w/ COVID they off a well-designed online ordering system that is clean and easy to use. Pick up is in the shop well away from the register so you can dip in and out quickly. The Swell (turkey + cranberry + cream cheese) on Dutch Crunch is AMAZING and I highly recommend it.

I love this place and make a point to eat here every time I'm in SLO. They make great sandwiches and the staff is always friendly. They have a good selection of breads and quality meat, and a great selection of toppings. The cookies are good too, but I wish they were a bit cheaper.

Delicious, high quality sandwiches that don't skimp on the toppings. The "hot piggy" sandwich with ham and hot sauce brings the heat, especially when you ask for jalapenos (which, again, are generously added). "The Hank" is also great. Sandwiches are offered in 6" and 12" sizes and are wide too.
