We felt very fortunate to have Popolo Catering at our wedding! The day of the event was absolutely worry-free because of how well prepared and experienced the entire Popolo staff were. They knew exactly what to do from arrival through clean-up, and several of our guests commented on the excellent service. We had a wonderful experience coordinating with Tasha before the wedding; she was extremely responsive and flexible to our requests. Chef John was also a pleasure to work with; we had a backyard wedding and he did a walkthrough of the venue well in advance to make sure set up was seamless. And on top of all that, the food was super tasty! Popolo will work with you to curate exactly the menu you want.

From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, the name that everyone was telling us for a catering company was Popolo. We couldn't be happier that we went with them. They were very accommodating during menu selection which was great considering how picky my wife and I can be! The food was delicious and our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it all. The staff was very friendly and did a fantastic job as well. If you're looking for a wedding caterer, Popolo should be your only call!

We were married in Templeton on April 1st and being that we are based in Los Angeles we relied heavily on recommendations for our vendors. Popolo was highly recommended by our venue and some friends who had them cater their wedding the previous year. From getting a quote through their website to our first meeting with Tasha at our tasting and then finally onto our big day everything was super easy and streamlined. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows how important convenience is, and Popolo took care of almost everything. They had a very professional and kind staff, flatware and glassware rentals, linens, licensed bartenders, and most importantly delicious food, of which many of our guests went up for seconds. Tasha worked with our coordinator and us to make sure everything was seamless and she was very kind and always quick to respond to our questions. She even helped us find our DJ, who was fabulous, and put together a delicious pistachio cake for us to cut at the reception. We would definitely recommend Popolo to cater your wedding or any event.

My wedding was this past 7/15 and we had the most incredible experience with Popolo from beginning to end. I cannot recommend the team enough. Not only was the food delicious, but also communication from beginning to end was prompt and clear. I had a lot of questions and needed to make a couple of changes and the team was incredibly accommodating. So many of our guests complimented the food! Thank you Popolo! <3

My husband and I were lucky enough to book Popolo Catering for our June 2022 wedding. We moved from the Central Coast to the Bay Area about 7 years ago, but when we got engaged I knew I wanted to be married in the place I had called home for more than 30 years. Most of our wedding guests came from out of state and I wanted to share a taste of the Central Coast with them. Popolo's hit it out of the park with Santa Maria style tri-tip, roasted chicken, strawberry salad, grilled veggies, potatoes au gratin, and French bread. They were even kind enough to make us doggie bags for when we got back to our hotel (which was very appreciated)! The Popolo staff was professional, attentive and courteous. The buffet and pass hors d'oeuvres were displayed beautifully. We are so grateful to Kat and Leon and the entire Popolo team for a delicious and memorable wedding weekend!!

I am so grateful we chose Popolo to cater our 130 person wedding! It is so evident that Tasha and her family put their heart and souls into their business/what they do. From being attentive to our needs, flexible, and reliable through the entire planning process- the customer service was exceptional! Not to mention, the food was AMAZING! We have Popolo help us host an annual Thanksgiving luncheon for our staff every year and every year they are nothing but professional, kind, and helpful! The food is great and the guys eat it up! This year we had to do some last minute rearranging due to the weather and they were responsive, communicative, and beyond accomodating to what we needed. We love working with them as they make the entire process easy... looking forward to next year already!

Popolo did an absolutely amazing job catering our wedding in may. They were very organized and communicative throughout the whole planning process. Tasha took great notes during our meeting and tasting and always followed up with an email. We got a ton of compliments from our guests on our wedding day on how great the food was (we got the Mexican food). During the wedding they made our plate for us and checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going well. They also made to go plates for us as well. We had a great experience with popolo and would highly recommend!

Popolo was an absolute lifeline when our original caterer for our wedding fell through. Leon and Kat were a complete delight during our tasting, they truly care about every aspect of what they do! They were wonderful to work with as we went back and forth and back and forth indecisively over our menu (it was so hard to narrow down, everything they make is so good!) and on the day they were absolutely perfect! The table setup looked amazing, the entire staff was warm and outstanding, and the bartenders absolutely killed it with our signature cocktails! We were originally so worried when our first caterer fell through but with Popolo it turned out to be a blessing in disguise a thousand fold. We're still getting our guests reaching out to us to tell us how much they loved our food (and I still dream about the brisket). We can't think of anyone else we would have rather had serve us our first meal as husband and wife - and I truly cannot recommend Popolo Catering highly enough. If you're looking for a caterer for your wedding or any event at all, look NO FURTHER! Popolo is amazing!

This past weekend I had a class reunion. It was a small gathering so I opted to pick up the food. Everything was packaged nicely and fit perfectly into the chafing dishes I had. Everyone thought I had made the food but I didn't take the credit. The tri tip was tender and the scalloped potatoes were out of this world. Everyone commented on how good the food was. Thank you Popolo. You made my event a success.

Popolo's customer service alone would have me recommend their services. Well, and the taste of their delicious food helped as well. Making changes to the menu was easy even late in the planning process. I would recommend to take advantage of their free tasting that they offer with their package so you know what you're getting ahead of time. Our dinner buffet was great but the appetizers we ordered were not what we thought they would be. I wouldn't let that keep you from choosing popolo, just take advantage of the tasting so you don't run into what we experienced.

Couldn’t ask for better in laws! Since day one 9 years ago I’ve loved the food, and staff at Popolo. I love being a part of this family and it’s business! I’ve watched it grow so much in the nine years I’ve been around. Leon and Kat have the biggest hearts and have built this awesome reputation that they have. Oh! and of course they did our wedding 😉 our guests rave about the food still! Ain’t no party like a Popolo Party!!!

Reached out with a relatively late request for them to Cater a celebration of life for a group of roughly 80 people; everyone one I dealt with in the planning process was super kind, along with being clear, efficient, and prompt in their communications to plan.
The pricing was great, the food was even better, and the service by the cook we had for our event (Anthony) was top shelf.

Popolo Catering was amazing to use and work with. Tasha was extremely responsive and helpful. We received nothing but positive feedback on the food. We opted for the buffet style with two entree options and fixed sides/salad/bread options. We have already recommended their services to other friends for their services. They were extremely cost effective as well. I would recommend anyone in their service area to consider them for their next large catered event.

The only complaint that I have about Popolo is that they only cater so we can’t go to eat their food more often.

Popolo catered for our wedding and when I tell you that there weren’t any leftovers – I mean we ordered food enough for everyone to have a little bit of everything and then some. There wasn’t a thing left at the end of the night – just enough for the bride and groom to have to-go boxes at the end of the night, which was so necessary! Only because they set it aside ahead of time.

We got compliments from our guests on all the food that was provided, Popolo catered passed hors d’oeuvres and did a buffet dinner service. The menu was coordinated beforehand, with a tasting done – it was probably at the tasting that we realized that our choice of caterer was the right one.

Tasha coordinated with us and sat down and walked us through all of it. With Tasha and the Popolo team, know that you’re in good hands.

Popolo was my favorite vendor and the best choice we could have made for our big day. Not only are they at such a reasonable price point that it almost sounds made up.... but the food quality and service is one you would get with only the highest-end caterers. It's been a month since we've been married and everyone talks about how great the food was! Popolo was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and made it very easy on us. I loved them so much that they catered our rehearsal dinner, lunch the day of, the reception, and the morning brunch! I seriously cannot say enough good things about them!
