The office is clean & welcoming. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We moved to the central coast a couple of years ago & still go out of town (2 to 2 1/2 hrs) to see our dentist. My son was having severe pain in one of his molars and I had to find someone fast here in the central coast for him. I found Carrie Ramirez and made an appointment there about six months ago. I was so Impressed with Carrie Ramirez, DDS, and the dental hygienist, April, that saw my son. They were so detailed and thorough with their exams and initial consultation, and they are very knowledgeable. I just took my son yesterday for his second dental cleaning and we just love his dental hygienist, April! She is absolutely amazing, thorough, knowledgeable and always starts off with an oral cancer check. The front staff are so helpful & friendly. I will soon be transitioning the rest of our family to Carrie Ramirez, DDS. Our current dentist that the rest of my family & I see, and his staff are wonderful & like family, but It is getting really hard to travel out of town to see our current dentist. It’s always scary to find a new dentist because you are not sure if you are going to be in good hands or not. I am 100% sure we found our perfect match & found our new dental family here at the central coast with Carrie Ramirez, DDS, and her staff! And I just know our current dentist will be relieved to know that we will be in excellent hands.

Doctor ramirez and her team are one of the greatest dental offices I’ve ever been in. Growing up with trauma towards dental offices from past abuse from workers caused me to have a lot of trust issues with workers. I haven’t been to the dentist I almost 10 years because of that ! And doctors team made me and makes me feel so comfortable and welcome they don’t hurt me with any utensils nor make me feel less. Love you guys and may god bless this office !

If I could, I would give Carrie and her staff 10 stars!! I had the BEST experience with them and will be a customer from now on. From the moment I spoke with the front office to make an appointment to the time I left after my first appointment, I was beyond pleased. Great group of professional but kind people. I highly recommend them!!

Extremely warm and friendly staff. Very professional and knowledgeable. My dental hygienist spent so much quality time with me; going over every detail that concerns my oral health. They truly care about their patients. I highly recommend E. Carrie Ramirez to anyone.

I’ve just started at this office and have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr Ramirez was friendly and thorough and April made me feel very comfortable during my cleaning today. Nice calming atmosphere and very friendly staff.

My Sister-in-law referred me to Carrie Ramirez as the best dentist in the entire Central Coast. I already had decided after moving back into the Central Coast on a dentist from my church, but upon going there I was attended to by one of his colleagues and I wanted a second opinion. When I got to the office I was once again treated by a colleague but this time I was impressed by Dr. Dessenko who helped me decide that what I wanted to do was not only possible, but would save two of the teeth I would have lost had I not gone for the second oppinion, and at about the same cost!!! Thank you Dr. Dessenko!

I also had a recent visit when Dr. Dessenko was out and finally got to meet Dr. Carrie Ramirez! What a delight! And the best staff...EVER!

Everyone who works here is always very pleasant and welcoming. The location of the office is easy to access and inside it is very calm and relaxing. Everyone works hard to be on time while taking care to get to know you as a patient and individual.

I appreciate the attention to detail of both Dr. Dassenko and Dr. Ramirez who thoroughly explain your treatment options. And a shout out to Elizabeth who takes great care of my family's teeth and is a joy to talk to.

Another nice addition the office has is their various communication methods on appointment updates. It's really convenient to have your appointment reminders sent as texts so you don't forget.

From the warm welcome you get at the reception upon arrival to the end when you schedule your next appointment, everything and everyone is top notch here. The office atmosphere is calm and soothing. All the hygienists are professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. Both dentists, Dr. Dassenko and Dr Ramirez are highly skilled and experienced; they both have a gentle and confident style. I am very satisfied with my dental care at this office like I have never experienced before.

Dr. Pam Dassenko has been my dentist for many years and I have always received excellent care in her office. I have had her do two dental implants for me, and both of them feel like my natural teeth. She has a caring office staff from front office to hygienists and dental assistants, and has also taken excellent care of my parents. Dr. Dassenko is retiring at the end of the year, and I look forward to working with Dr. Ramirez for my continuing care. She has handled some emergency dental procedures for me, and I'm very pleased with the results.

Just had my Amazing First appointment with Dr. Ramirez, DDS.
Reception was perfectly lovely, rather than dismissive, and the waiting area spotless and homey rather than institutional. I appreciate what that says about the practice and how they view their patients.
Next Dental Technician Lori took me in and kindly, gently, efficiently took the X-rays. Such a wonderful woman! I actually enjoyed being x-rayed.
Then Dr Ramirez came in to examine me with intricate thoroughness: gentle, kind and respectful throughout.
Dr Ramirez knows her science better than any other dentist I’ve met or heard of - how each detail of mouth, throat, teeth, gums and bone relates to all the others - and you know that as soon as the examination begins. She took her time; asked questions; let me ask questions; Then discussed her findings and potential game plans with me in detail.
We discussed.
I have so much respect for Dr Ramirez!
As I feared, the truth about my mouth was Horrible.m, and I didn’t leave the office with any false hopes.
The thing is that I left my appointment calmly, knowing everything I needed to know about my mouth, the options of treatment to decide from, and definitely who I want doing the work.
Oh how I wish I had found her sooner!

Caring, compassionate and comprehensive care. I have been a patient of Dr. Dassenko and at times Dr. Ramirez over the past 13 years, and I have always been impressed with the warm, professional approach of the entire staff. The dental hygienists are top-notch and keep you motivated and on point with your home care. One time I had to make an emergent appointment following a bike mishap and chipped front tooth, and Dr. Dassenko saw me the next day and repaired the tooth with great cosmetic result. Fabulous service!

I’ve been coming to Carrie & Pam’s Dentistry for at least 5 years, probably more. And it’s always been an excellent experience.
I wish I had a ‘before & after’ shot I could share here to show off all the beautiful work they’ve done over the years to replace all the silver fillings, repairs to chipped teeth, and their help to get me to take better care of what I have!
The entire staff is also very polite and accommodating. I was scheduled for an appointment last Friday with Stella (who’s Awesome) but had to reschedule due to a conflict at work. Today is the following Monday and I just left their office after an excellent cleaning/inspection with Brittany. You no doubt wouldn’t receive anything less than exceptional service from any of their staff.

This office is efficient, professional, friendly, and very clean. I appreciate the emphasis that they place on patient education. Each time I go, the hygienist carefully explains everything she is doing offers to answer questions. They provide practical at-home recommendations for improving and maintaining dental health for the long-haul. They are vigilant in screening for any indications of "problems" that could present in the future and informing me what my options are now to prevent damage and save money later. I've learned so much!

I had a wonderful experience with my first exam and cleaning (which was only $98 because of their new patient special). I was seen by Dr. Ramirez as well as a hygienist, Stella Fritch, and another dental assistant whose name I cannot remember. All of them were friendly and made sure that I understood what was happening and what I should know about my dental health. Dr. Ramirez even emailed me pictures from my exam for reference and the office staff helped me to make an appointment with a local oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth removed. Overall I'm really happy with my visit and look forward to continuing with them for a while.

I always have such a wonderful experience whenever I go to Dr. Dassenko's office. It's not just only amazingly wonderful, friendly, caring attentive staff, but they also have the newest and best technology available which minimizes any anticipated anxiety or pain.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone. And as a woman on a tight budget, I so appreciate Care Credit which allows me to get the work I need, and make the payments on my terms.
With all of that said, the most wonderful thing is that my dental issues have become nearly non-existent with their Professional Care!!
