2024 Update: Not only do we still only go to Viv, but we truly enjoy her conversation and are so happy to see her business grow. We saw her today for two quick undercuts and she told us that next month they will start offering facials! Very much looking forward to that :)

Love it, Vivian is a hair goddess. Prices are great, nail & wax available. Still my go to salon 6 years running. I trust Vivian to choose my color & do my cut, I just let her know what I'm thinking and let her recommend away! She has many regulars that keep coming back, she's super fast with guys and not overpriced and they all come back too. She's done all kinds of color for me, but today she blended my grey I was growing out into a great color and added a tint that made the grey streaks look so cool! Yay!

My journey with Vivian is amazing. I myself dyed my hair platinum and as you can imagine I am not a professional and eventually the worst fear happened. My hair started to break. By the time the entire top of my hair broke off it was time to start again. I only had myself to blame. But when the worst did happen I knew going to Vivian would be the right move. I figured since she was already starting the journey on cutting off all the damage bit-by-bit there was no one else I could turn to. She already knew everything about my hair and what it needed. I just needed to listen. Because of her I can find confidence in my new pixie cut! I will absolutely be continuing my journey with Vivian for as long as I am in this area and recommended anyone else to do so as well.

I love Vivian! I've had some pretty bad experiences with stylists in the past, resulting in my being VERY protective of my hair. I come down from Oakland every few months to have Vivian cut my hair, because she is amazing at what she does. She listens to what I want for my hair, and knows how to cut it so that it looks good if I wear it straight or curly, up or down. I will always recommend Shear Art solely for Vivian's expertise!

Vivian gave me a great haircut for a very reasonable price. Hadn't had my hair cut in 2 years because I'm a grad student with little extra money to spend. I'd been hesitant to look for a salon because very few people know how to cut naturally wavy but somewhat flat hair. Vivian understood what I needed right away and had me in and out quickly. I've found my new place!

I love this place!! I've been going to Vivian for over 10 years now..great haircut everytime..I get my hair highlighted too and for both the price is extremely reasonable..I'm moving in 6 months 4 hours away and If I can't find anyone closer to my new home.. very real possibility I will just be making the drive every other month to have Vivian do my hair.

Yesterday, Was my first time to visit shear art hair salon wonderful ladies. I had my big ol shaggy beard removed my haircut all at a great price took good care of me and yes they're very nice Lady's.
I had the opportunity to meet a couple of Vivian's regulars and the reviews are spot on.

My family and I have been getting our haircuts with Vivian for the past 13 years. She always does and great job cutting our hair. She has done color and highlights on my hair and I'm always happy with it.

I came here after getting a bad haircut earlier in the week, hoping to have someone fix it. I made a same day appointment with Vivian. Immediately when she looked at my messed up layers she knew what she needed to do. She took her time, advised me on how to wear my bangs, and fixed my hair. It looks so much better and I wish I'd just gone here in the first place. I will definitely come back again.

I don't know why somebody gave this wonderful service and professional hair salon 1 star without saying any word. I have been their customer for many years and I always feel satisfied after having my hair done there. Vivi knows what she's doing. I had tried several hair salons around Los Gatos before I stopped and became her loyal customer. I would recommended Vivi for everyone, especially somebody wants some sleek and crisp highlight!

I have been a customer for the past 8 years when I used to live in the area and happened to see it close by. I have subsequently moved but always go back to get my hair cut. The owner Vivien is great and I am glad to see her back after covid and the place being busy with loyal customers when I went there for a haircut today.

We love this little gem for the excellent haircuts that we've consistently received, the warm customer service that has come with them, and the good value that we've always received.
