Electrify America Charging Station

Yep, works.
Limited CHAdeMo spaces. No bathrooms near after 9pm.. You have 3 options 1. Paseo Mall has a public restroom, Jack in the box.... Then under the bridge

These chargers are bomb! Charging my bolt euv 48kwh/hr for $0.48/kwh

Drove right in and charged up to almost full in about 45 minutes. Clean B of A parking lot and within walking distance of fast food and a shopping mall.

Good experience the few times I've used these chargers in the bank parking lot.

Fast charging station. 350kW

Great charging.

One of four charging stations was inoperable. Reasonably fast charging, took about 30 minutes. Often had to wait one or two turns for a charger. And if you will forgive me a short rant.... WHY do people plug in their car then walk away? One person left their vehicle plugged in for over an hour, well after their car finished charging!

It's virtually the only Electrify America charging station in the Santa Barbara area. So it's usually very busy. What's more there are usually one or more of the chargers inoperable. We spoke to a technician who was presently on the site and he said they're not even any technicians in the area to repair them. So he had to drive 3 hours up from Ontario to do his work. It seems to me Electrify America is missing a big business opportunity. If they could hire technicians to keep these working then all the people that get free Electrify America charging with their new cars would become accustomed to using their sites. Then when their free charging expires they might be more likely to continue using Electrify America instead of switching to some other company.

Today the charger is performing well It began at 180 kilowatts per hour and eventually dropped to about 83. I have never seen the 300 watt chargers deliver anything close to that.

One 250kw charger showed reduced charging speed notification on screen. Both 150kw chargers were working and one of the 250s

The 350w charger never goes above 130.
Charged in the AM on the 350W station but never got over 76kWh 27JUL2023.

Only 50kW

Of 4 chargers only 2 are working.
