Great place to buy surplus, camping equipment, jeans, boots, rain gear, hats, knives and so much more. This place is a blast just to visit and take in all their inventory of quality products. If you hang around the counter you'll generally find the owner who is pleasant, friendly and always positive creating a great vibe in a truly unique, one of a kind store..... Love love love this place, highly recommend...

How is it even possible that I have failed to write a review for this place until now? This is the BEST. STORE. EVER. The manager/owner is amazing, the operation is smooth, and the stock is fantastic.

To be clear, yes, this store does sell military surplus items. But it is so much more than that. They sell all kinds of work clothes, boots, sweats, shoes, jackets - tightly packed aisles filled with all kinds of things that any blue-color or labor-oriented worker would need, and at really good prices too. The store is worth visiting just for that!

That section takes up the main part of the main room - but then there's a kind of "second area" off of one side, almost as large, and just as packed with items. Here you'll find military-style bags, backpacks, BDU style pants, shirts, and field coats, along with raincoats, parkas, and every other kind of clothing you could imagine. They've got military style bedding, blankets, ropes, and related equipment. Then they've got "normal" backpacks, a large selection of camping gear, and assortment of always fresh MREs from different suppliers, camping food and - on one end-cap, a VERY nice selection of cast iron cookware!

Here's a sample of how the manager rolls:
Me, coming in, recognizing him: Hello! Nice to see you!
Him, remembering me: How have you been! How is your kid? (remembered my kid, and that they were at college). Hey, we just got a new shipment of field coats in from several countries! (remembered that my addictive purchase there is M65-style field coats).
Me: Thank you!
Me, later, coming out with a huge armload that I could barely carry: "Sorry, just came to pick up one or two things."
Him, with a grin and without missing a beat, "Well then you need to buy some more!"

That says a lot! When you stop to think about it, working in the customer service industry is never easy. You have to deal with all kinds of cranky, confused, problematic people. I see people like that in the store sometimes. Yet the staff is always patient, always kind, and always super-helpful. They are clearly like a family there, and you feel that welcoming feeling when you walk in.... when you're not being overwhelmed by the huge variety of products.

Here's a tip: Some things, especially around Halloween, are not returnable. Don't think you're going to go in there, and "rent" yourself a costume and then return it. That's not a right thing to do in any event, and you shouldn't expect it of anyone. If you're buying something, try it on there BEFORE you buy it - they've got fitting rooms - and if you're not sure, ask about the return policy for that particular item. It will save everyone stress later.

This is literally my favorite retail store of all time. I am in there from time to time and I always spend far too much money there. But the quality, the selection, and the prices are all excellent, beaten only by the customer service, and, really, what more can you ask?

I encourage everyone with interest to visit this store. You will absolutely love it!

Mike has excellent customer service, ladies at front initially refused to return Timberland boots , he superceded the situation and corrected it. If you have any questions I recommend you go to him!!! ☺

Excellent shop for work boots!

I brought in my decrepit, 15 year old Carolina Vibram boots & told the employee who greeted me "I need new ones like these - with all the same features" (high top, STURDY, waterproof, etc).

I explained that even though I don't do the kind of work anymore where professional, steel toe boots are mandatory footwear, work boots like the ones they carry are the absolute BEST footwear for supporting my (now) extremely uncooperative, disabled knee, as well as keeping me balanced, which helps the pinched nerves in my spine, too.

This WONDERFUL woman took me right over to the correct section, showed me the 3 options they had that were similar like my old boots, checked the stock for my size, took me to where I could try them on (the 1st pair I put on was PERFECT), & then she even took me to the register to check out!

I've been looking for new boots like these since the heel came off my old ones 2 YEARS ago, but no luck, until TODAY!!

They even had handicap parking RIGHT AT THE DOOR! Their door was so easy to open, even! No fighting like you're pushing against a hurricane. Awesomely accessible!

I was in, got my new PERFECT boots, & was back out in about 15 minutes.

THANK YOU STEVENS CREEK SURPLUS!

More ladies should come here to shop for goodies and treasures!! In general, I really like surplus tees, shirts, jackets, rucksacks and hats. They're cheaper, durable and have a pretty fit on the ladies too (the size variety is high in-store). They're not rough on the skin and have attractive designs that the general public just isn't aware of yet. There's a good selection of military surplus, and also other general outdoor attire. I got a cute surplus boonie as seen in the photo, and a couple of surplus cotton shirts in SM. Some of the surplus is used (like my boonie that was just over 10 bucks), and some are new. They're all freshly washed obviously. It only gets a bit musty at the back of the surplus area as there is equipment and heavier gear being sold. You could use the bigger, boxy tees as nighties so I'll probably go get more xD. The surplus tees are usually around the 10 buck line which is a great price for them. My boyfriend is v big on surplus so shops here often. He got a bunch of patches yesterday (a bit pricey though good quality). The attached photo is one I found for him which is so cute. The staff and owner are all really friendly, and the store has a super welcoming atmosphere. Went on a Monday and they had a comfortable number of customers.

Great selection of work/outdoor gear. From boots to tarps and backpacks, they have a lot to offer. The store looks small on the outside, but once inside, it opens up into a vast selection of merchandise.

Got all the big brands, like 5.11, CAT, Dickies, etc, but beyond that it has a staggering collection of high quality surplus. ACU shirts, pants, all uniforms up to current, various harnesses, bags, pouches, kits, belts, even a dozen or so plate carriers. Can't go wrong with this store. Can only recommend!

Love this store for work clothing and shoes as well as more casual attire. Stuff you didn't know you needed and stuff you need at a fair price. Super super helpful staff as well. It also helps that you can grab a fine slice of pizza right next door.

Bought some MREs here mainly for nostalgic reasons. They have many brands in stock. It’s nice to see all of them side-by-side and in person. I was able to find the one from my Boy Scout years that includes the little Tabasco bottle and boring chewing gum.

They have a ton of camp cooking supplies too. Selection seems to be much bigger than Big5.

Will come again for my camping needs!
