Have been going here for years. Love their home style food. The owner is very friendly and makes delicious food

My husband and I were blown up by the excellent customer service provided by Maritza.
We actually live in Hayward and went there to do our yearly taxes last Wednesday, February 1, 2023. We asked our taxes' lady about any restaurants in the area, and she recommended Las Flamas.
I asked for sweet potatoes' fries, Maritza said that she never heard of such a thing, however they happened to have some and guess what? She surprised me with some delicious, sweet potatoes' fries.
I am Brazilian and for those who don't know, avocados in Brazil only with sugar, milk in a blender. I mentioned that to Maritza which of course she was surprised again, and she made some avocado shake specially for me.
I know, who does that, right?
She went above and beyond, and I really appreciate it.
We live so far from the restaurant, but if you live close, please go check it out.

Great little hole in the wall. Perfect our late night craving. We were able to get dine in seating an hour before closing.
The other customers looked happy.
Our waitress was attentive. It seems like a very family oriented restaurant!!

Great little "hole on the wall" family style restaurant with authentic food and horchata. Our Native American friends from San Diego and Arizona can attest to this.

The house specialty Steak a Mexicana is highly recommended, as well as the enchiladas. Their horchata (many flavors) got rave reviews from our party.

Service was awesome: family style not too fancy but warm. We came in as a party of 4 almost 1h before closing time last year and then didn't fuss about serving us with many different orders and even though we stayed on until closing time.

My Family and I have been eating here for many years! The owner is hella cool good service great taste in food. I recommend The Cubana Torta delicious Mexican Sandwich for those who don’t know. Definitely a must try Restaurant!

I haven't gone in years but during 2016 i had the best Burrito de asada i have ever tried.Going again this november and i will pass by again so finally my wife can taste the good food with drinks.

I tried this place for the first time today. Nice little spot. Decent area. I ordered 2 taco. One asada and one verde. Both with cheese and refried beans added. Totally yummy and worth every penny. Cant wait to try more foods off thier menu! Great service guys . my compliments to the Chef!

Welp folks. Its Friday the 13th today. I went and tried this place yet again. Was worth every penny. This place is awesome. Great food once again. And great amazing service. The pork shoulder Hawaiian tacos or something like were epic. They have a little heat to them and yummy cheese. And i got the steak plate . with rice and beans. So delicious and home like. Very good stuff. I will definitely be back

I left a review already, but I'm here on my other one posting again because some chica gave it only one star claiming it served soggy tortillas and cost food with no taste for $50+. That's just not possible, and I dunno what her mental problems were, but I've been going here since I think 2006, and it's one of the best places in the South Bay. Great food, reasonable prices, and absolutely unparalleled friendly service.

I'll give them a 5 stars. Very good food. Their salsa it's great, their fresh water amazing! The food flavors were very authentic. I was so full, but I couldn't stop eating!!!

Went here on a recommendation. Was NOT disappointed. What a great find. A perfect blend of the two best regional cuisines in Mexico. Will be a repeat offender in the future. So happy to have found you Las Flamas!

A friend recommended and we are so glad we ate here. Excellent service. Authentic space. Food was prepared fresh, hot and fast. Start with quac and salsa. Delicious carnitas, pastor and Hawaiian tacos. This place is a gem and worth a visit.

The fish tacos and chiliquiles were absolutely delicious! Also, our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We'll definitely go back!

These guys have a great selection of different foods, and they're all incredible to taste and enjoy with good friends, good company, and good ambiance. It may seem like just another hole in the wall, but absolutely do not underestimate it, I promise you.

We ordered for carry-out. Extremely fat tasty burritos (we ordered the Al Pastor). Will be going back to try the tacos next time!

The unsung hero of Mexican cuisine in Santa Clara. Their tacos are solid and the Cubana sandwich is a meal for four. Have been going here for years and will continue to.

I just have to have grandma's Salsa recipe with fresh fried corn chips, and yes tacos Al Pastor - my favorites! My tummy is satisfied!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant! Authentic, generous, friendly. My go-to is the Alambron las Flamas… corn tortillas filled to the brim.
