Been coming here awhile, nice place to shop for comics and has space to move around in. Owner is cool and knowledgeable about comics.

Has manga, funko pops, kid selection and new release section.

Next to Fried Chicken Korean place.
McDonald, CVS, Fed Ex, USPS are close by too.

Parking is not an issue.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A huge amount of back issue selection. If you collect comics this is a great place to visit.

I went into Heros & Champions Comics in Sunnyvale on the El Camino looking for suggestions for books that I wanted to give to my adult daughter (28yrs). I was lucky enough to have Jeff greet me with a smile. I let him know what I was looking to do. He walked me around the store with a discerning eye. Giving me suggestions that he felt were hot and some that were not. Because of Jeff, I was able to buy some books that my daughter fell in love with. Jeff is an asset to your store. His friendliness and customer service makes Heros & Champions a store I will recommend to anyone who askes me for my “go to” store for comics. Please give him my thanks.

First time at a comic book store and a great one to visit if you're interested in visiting one! Im not sure if the guy in front is the owner but he was welcoming and helpful. He knows a lot about this so if you have any questions he would probably be your guy. He offered to help me find whatever i was looking for, Lots of options to choose from!

Went in looking for a couple comics to read. I haven't been a comic collector since the 80s when I was a teenager. They were helpful and the store brought me right back to the 80s. Thanks

Pretty nice place. Got the comics I wanted at a good price and other stuff. Worker was nice and felt welcomed. Drove from Gilroy since comic shops near me don't carry much Silver age comics or supplies I need. Definitely check this place out if you're around.

The guy on shift today was super helpful in helping my friend find what she needed. They didn't have my graphic novels in stock as it was popular and sold out quickly. I managed to find other graphic novels in the store. They have a wide selection, looking forward to returning in the future.

Incredible place, came in late one night carrying my baby, just looking for some maximum carriage and two awesome sales associates help me out! Baby was happy, I was happy, great job boys!

drove here to look for star wars before the heading to work, tons selection of comics, hardcover and trade paper back issues also have limited complete sets bagged comics (hopefully on sale) and Statues.

They have every new comic and graphic novel and great deals on vintage comics!!!!! Also if you come hungry there are a ton of places to eat in the same plaza.

Definitely a solid comic book and game store. I always visit it when I come into town.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of comics, old and new. We talked with one of the senior employees (or owner?) for a while about the best way to sell older comics online. We'll make sure to visit every time we're in town!

Update: looks like the guy at the counter has changed! The new guy is awesome & very helpful!! Great conversation & open to help out when needed! I definitely suggest you to go here! They also have lot of current and back issues stocked up now!

Let me start off by telling what I liked about this place, it has some real good collection of back issues and old comics!
Now for the reason for my 2 star rating:
1. Couldn’t find zero day comics on a Wednesday (11am). Apparently they don’t seem to have much of the mainstream stuff stocked
2. The staff was absolutely unapproachable... I’ve been here twice and tried asking him questions on (new release) comics I was looking for, the best response I could get out of him was “sir, all the new comics are on the brown shelf in that corner”.
3. Would prefer to talk on his mobile over talking to a customer

He didn’t even make an effort to ask me which comic or when he’s expecting to get them.. I’d consider that as poor customer service! This is the closest comic book store to my place but I would be avoiding it for my zero-day comic purchases! Would rather drive 10 miles to another comic book store..

Fantastic resource for comics, these guys also are super helpful if you have any card game or tabletop rpg questions. I personally love painting figures and while they don't specialize in them they have a nice selection of paints and tools, and the people who work there are extremely knowledgeable in all things game. A casual, calm place where everyone is nice and professional, this place is the best place for comics in Sunnyvale.

**Update** Went back to the location and they had no difficulty swapping out my original purchase for something new with all the pieces. Whoever responded to my original review may be a little out of touch with the day to day operations (bc you absolutely buy/sell preowed/used games) but the people working there that I spoke to both occasions were friendly, knowledgeable, and able to get things straightened out easily. Excellent in-store service.

*original review* 1 star not the place to go for games. I purchased 2 games recently as a gift for my niece & nephew's birthday only to find they were missing pieces, game cards, and directions. One of them even had extra cards from Munchkin Zombie. All around disappointing.

One of the best places to find and trade Magic cards in South Bay at reasonable prices. Michael, who knows a ton about past and upcoming MTG expansions, does an outstanding job overall at patiently advising both non- players and new players, young and old. As for comic books, this place has a lot of back issues, especially previous issues from recent runs that are sometimes hard to find. A place definitely worth checking for serious collectors in South Bay.

Great shop with real personality and culture to it. Great selection of products crossing every realm of fandom, and very knowledgeable staff to boot. Mike in particular was incredibly helpful when I was shopping for cards and D&D products. For sure the best comic shop in all the bay area

I have been a customer at this comic shop for close to 27 years now. These guys have a great selection and know a ton about comics. During these tough times comic books are a welcome distraction and much needed. The customer service at this shop is fantastic! If you have a chance to give this hometown shop some business please do. Give them a call and set something up.. Both Danjer and Phil have been in the business for awhile they can answer you questions...

Owner was nice and friendly and store was tidy. They had a large manga section, much larger than most comic stores I've been to.
