Avis Car Rental

I’ve been renting vehicles from Avis for several years now, and always appreciate the efficiency of picking up and returning of my rental vehicle. Additionally, Avis reps are always friendly and helpful! When I shared that my family had a lot of items to pack (luggage, her outfits, other bags) for this trip because we were traveling to a dance festival where my daughter was performing, the rep upgraded me to a larger SUV at the same rate.

I recently had a great experience with Avis Car Rental in SJC, CA. The agent I dealt with was incredibly patient and she made sure I got the perfect car at the best rate possible. I was really impressed with her level of service and attention to detail. This level of personalized service and attention to my needs left me highly satisfied with the rental process.

The best rental car service I've used. They have quality cars which I rent for both personal use and tourism. Their collection of big SUVs will improve the quality of your next tourist place. After corporate discount, the rates are very competitive and service top class. Sometimes they also provide upgrades on the vehicle which is sweet.

Bit of a longer wait compared to other companies but the price was right via 3rd party. Rep at counter was pleasant, helpful, and gave me an awesome car! He even refused a tip per policy but he deserved it.

I've used Hertz and Dollar car rental in the past but this is by far the best rental car experience I've ever had. The price was reasonable. The counter attendant was friendly, courteous and fast. The car was clean inside and out and it smelled good inside.I'll definitely use Avis again.

I had a fantastic experience with Avis Car Rental. The check-in process was seamless, and I was quickly on my way. The car was clean, and it was great to have a newer model. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable rental experience.

Pickup and drop-off was quick. I appreciate that Avis offers electric vehicles, and that the clerk could provide me one on the spot even if my reservation was not for a midsize non-EV.
I wish there was a way to indicate EV preference when reserving via Concur.

1st time renting a car with Avis and was faced my worst nightmare when I had misplaced my wallet.

Fortunately, a very kind employee by the name of Will (on shift 16 Oct ~12am PST) very kindly spared extra time and effort beyond his scheduled work time to assist me in retrieving it.

I’m extremely grateful for Will’s kindness and graciousness in turning the situation from a negative to a very positive one!

During my recent business trip to San Jose, my online rental booking didn't go through to avail preferred member privileges. Mr. Shaw at the counter was very nice and helpful to obtain an electric car. I thank him for his great service and Avis.

Booked a convertible, but they didn't have any, manager suggested a free swap to a Tesla Model 3! Was fun, does neat party tricks and has wild acceleration. A Tesla is not an enthusiasts car rather an iPhone with wheels. Starbucks in a car.

The agent greeted us as we arrived to pick up our rental car. He was very cheerful, and provided us with a selection of vehicles to choose from! This was beyond what we expected! We were on our way within 10 minutes. Our return was just as pleasant, and took only 5 minutes. We are extremely happy with Avis!

Avis made a difficult time so much easier. This is the only car company during a long weekend rent one way. From California to Texas. A death in the family isn't easy, but I managed to get a car and move some things from my home state back to Texas at a good price. The guy I see at the Beaumont Texas location is so kind and I believe he waved the fee because i kept the car for one more day, driving 2000 miles is hard. These people at Jack Brooks airport location should be rewarded for customer service and that will make me a returning customer.

We were very pleased with the Avis roadside assistance. Soon after we got a Honda/Accord, the “Tire Pressures Low” light was on. We checked the tire pressures, and none of them needs air. We called Honda roadside assistance, but they refused to help. Finally, we called Avis/Reyes from a small-town Cortez in Colorado. A tow truck arrived within one hour. The tow truck driver checked the tire pressures, and suspected that the warning message might be caused by a sensor malfunction. This gave us the confidence to drive the car back. Thanks Avis!

Avis made this rental experience very smooth. The staff were kind and courteous and quickly checked us in and out. The car was very clean before it was given to us and gave us good mileage as well. This really made my trip much easier and less stressful since I did not have to worry about anything related to the car, as it was completely taken care of. They were also flexible and allowed me to return the car to a location that was really close to where I lived.

This was my best Avis service. The agent was very nice and knowledgeable. He made it simple and quick to get through. Our car was in great condition and exactly what we needed for our whole family. We needed some help finding something we lost and the whole team was great. This was a major improvement over other times I have rented from Avid.

AVIS upgraded the rental car to a Tesla Y. It was a surprising perk! It's very convenient to get and return the rental car quickly.

Good location, got the car in no time as there was only person in front of me while other rentals had huge lines. Car are clean and well maintained. Drop off process was fast and easy.
