The food here is absolutely incredible!! We had the gorgonzola salad and pasta and both were so delicious! The service was just a little on the slower side, just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule. Our waiter was awesome and everyone was friendly!

Beautiful experience! Mario was a sheer delight, he accommodated our large group, catered to our needs, and didn't forget a name! All the while he was greeting and seating many that came in after us. There was so many delightful things! From the decor, the lovely outdoor seating, the beautiful indoor seating, the dishware, and even the bathroom, everything was delightful! The food, oh my gosh the FOOD- from start to finish AMAZING! Every recommendation was spot on, just a sheer delight from start to end! We will certainly return! Grateful to have had the experience and enjoy all that was provided by very skillful hands!

Really nice atmosphere inside and outside. Was able to make some dishes vegan I had the Primavera Rosa, no cream, subbed the fettuccine (has egg) for spaghetti, they said didn’t have egg. The dish was super saucy had a lot of vegetables delicious.
Husband had the fettuccine Alfredo, and it was really creamy and flavorful .
The owner came to chat with us and was nice. Said they’re going to later include on their menu what is clearly vegan or vegetarian. We’ll come back again to try another dish. Might try the vegan pizza next time. They had cocktails as well.

This place is absolutely amazing. Very cozy and we sat outside on the beautiful patio. The pizza was amazing. I am a New York girl and I know my pizza. Best pizza crust I’ve had in a very very long time! I hate to admit it it’s even better than my own tossed pizza crust, which I learned how to do in Brooklyn as a young girl .We will return.❤

Wonderful amazing food! Thaii is an incredible cook and Mario the perfect Maitre d'. The free tasty bread (foccacia with oil and seasoning) is soft AND crusty. The Piccata bowl is delicious, the Bolognese tasty and just what Bolognese should be! The candied walnut salad is huge and delicious!!

The atmosphere is charming with outside tables and heaters and overhead trattoria lights. The inside is broken up with pieces of furniture, bicycles, and tables with candles, some for 4 some for 2, one with a quaint tablet lamp. There's a cozy sofa and bar for those wanting to spend a little time with friends!

A perfect neighborhood gathering place!

I'm still going back and the food is as good as ever. Get the pepperoni pizza, or get spaghetti with wonderful meatballs. The appetizer kalamata olives and bread are always delicious. Last night I was on my own and sat at the bar and chatted with Mario while an amazing pianist entertained the lively 30 people gathered in this cozy spot on a winter night.

Still my favorite local place! Mario & Thalis are great! They're very few places nowadays where you feel you're in a neighborhood place with good cooking and personal attention. We still get the cappuccino salad and my wife loves the meatballs!

Such an unexpected surprise on a break from a lacrosse tournament. The warmth and authenticity felt immediately! Service (by owner? ) amazing! Everything fresh and handmade. Enjoyed every minute! ❤

Some of the best Italian food I’ve experienced in California in a long time. Traditional style of Italian food with a delicious taste, there pizza’s are definitely delicious and can’t go wrong.

The food was absolutely delicious, from preparation to presentation- what a gastronomical experience! The menu trends in a contemporary direction, with emphasis on fresh and organic fare -- while still keeping with that home-cook feel. My favorite dish was the Gamberi, which was out of this world. The sauce just blew me away. Sooo unforgettable. Their pizza and lasagna are a must have! And the plum and berry pie which is this freshly baked puff pastry, drizzled in fresh fruits and fruit compote, was melt-in-your-mouth divine. I swear I was floating on a cloud. Everything from appetizers to dessert are made from scratch! Owners Thais, Mario, and their wonderful staff are attentive, friendly and hard working. Delicious!! I got to the restaurant right when it opened for dinner. Staff is super friendly, place is cute, romantic, boho , warm... very enjoyable for groups, couples, friends dinner. They served us bread with tomato sauce that was feliz. I tried the lasagna and the pastry dish from the stater menu and everything was so so good. I’m ordering another lasagna to go! Thank you so much for this covid safe experience. The place was very clean and sanitized so safe to try during these times . Everyone wearing masks too

My family and I really liked this place. Everything was wonderful and prepared with care. One of the owners served us, and his wife is the chef. Really happy to support a great restaurant like this! Can't wait to return.

In our search for the best Italian food in the United States, we did not take our efforts lightly. With this humble locally owned Italian super tasty hide away, the only limits here are your stomach and travel miles. The lasagna (get there early - only available as supply lasts) or several nightly specials are to die for. Oh ya, Mario will be happy to serve up one their awesomely fresh pizzas too.

This place is a hidden gem. So you walk into this cozy intimate vibe that makes you feel right at an Italian family’s home. It’s not pretentious, it’s a relaxing charming vibe. The owner is very nice. The food is delicious. The desserts look heavenly. This place is unique and would definitely recommend if you love flavor.

Mario’s personal service and attention was phenomenal. My shrimp, mushroom and pasta with pink sauce was tasty and well balanced. My son loved his pizza. Mario suggested my son return and they can show him how they make pizza in the kitchen. The mango blueberry pie was actually the fruit draped and drizzled over a delicate pastry that my son loved.

Every dish I tried is more delicious than the other. Great main dishes savory salads and appetizers. Mario is a great host and Thais is an amazing chef. Try it! You will not regret it.
