Pursuit Snohomish

Our first time attending. Occasion was our oldest granddaughters baptism. A very popular event. Very crowded. Parking was a regular circus event. As we learned there were multiple scheduled events which were causel effects for the parking. I made three turns around the building until an ADA SPOT opened up.
Overall the event was a raucous one.
Considering this was our first time attending the pastor appears to be a very motivated speaker who easily whips the following up into a controlled state of religious frenzy's!
Overall it was enjoyable. The overall effect on a young girl's life will be everlasting. God bless her.

This church is absolutely life-changing.
I’m from South Africa and I have struggled to find a church to where I could understand and connect. My friend invited me with her to church and ever since then I have been attending with her every Sunday since the first service I have been hooked to every word and every service I have been emotional and touched and felt the presence of God strongly. They have made me feel so welcome and accepted. I look forward every week for Sunday.

Fr9m the welcoming faces at the door to the real world, modern day comparison of the teachings of Christ and Old testament phrophets, this place is more than a church.

It is a hospital for the sick, an encouraging letter of love to the broken. A place of hope and faith. Encountering the presence of God through worship and prayer. Men, women, and children come together in His name here and have witnessed how our faith could change a person's heart so deeply.

I absolutely recommend attending Sunday service. As well as the men's breakfast, women's meetings, youth group, or the young adults group. I've experienced the men's breakfast and it's always a great experience. Especially getting to speak with other men about the topic of the day.

We tune in from Arizona. Russel is the only pastor I’ve heard, that I can listen to his whole sermon paying full attention and without daydreaming. I listen in the car and my kids listen too. We pause his sermon a million times because they are prompted to ask deep questions about the Bible and who our God is.
I see other reviews about feeling disconnected and that all Pursuit cares about is growth. It sounds to me that’s what Pursuit nights are for. So people can slow down, gather, and connect.
Also, Russel is very clear he’s trying to reach as many people in the region as he can. I think growth is definitely a priority, not for his own fame, but because he is spreading revival in a dark place. That’s just how it appears to me as an outsider.

I’ve been so motivated to read Romans and Acts because of the sermons. I am remembering the names and stories of people strung throughout the Bible for the first time in my life even though I was raised in church.
I get out of my car and want to run up to people and tell them about Jesus after getting so stirred from listening to the Pastor.

This Sunday, we came to Pursuit for the first time and were blessed by the bold message that pastor Russel released about men, women and homosexuality. It was very powerful service. I highly recommend to come to the church in person and experience God’s presence during worship and preaching.

Good church, the one star ppl need to come back again bc this church has grown and changed a lot. No it’s not perfect. But the spirit here is amazing. And Russell is dedicated to his people.

Solid messages each time. Easy to watch online, great music and a church that follows the bible without fear. Lots of energy and amazing worship. Bring a friend and join the revival. This northwest church is growing quickly and virally streaming across the country.

The tangible presence of God is in this place. That brings division between those who are serious about walking with Him and those who are not. The division is inevitable as “playing religious games” is offensive to the Lord. The desire of the Pursuit leadership is not to coddle people in their lostness, but bring them to fullness in life through Christ.
The challenge of focusing & following Christ in all areas of life daily is very refreshing. The challenge is given to walk in truth and in love. Pastor Russell Johnson does this well and sets a tangible example for us all.

Hands Down the best church I have been to. Powerful Preaching that is Biblically based and on point with relevant issues and hot topics. Pastor Russell is anointed and tells like it is. He doesnt mince words on topics which the bible is clear on, which is extremely important, refreshing and needed in the woke culture we are living in.

Worship is incredible and anointed. Pastor Michael is extremely talented and makes it easy to enter into God's presence. There are so many incredible people who serve on the worship team and will say alot of God given talent being used to glorify God. It's easy to get excited and worship Jesus when the church is hungry and desperate for the Presence of God to invade the atmosphere.

Lots of services to fit your schedule and so many incredible people to do life with. Blessed to call this my home church. If you are looking for a friend, or a familiar face when you come to visit for the first time, I usually attend the 11 am service and wear my hair in very long braids. Come by and say hi. A church that preaches the word of God without apologies! Where the Holy Spirit is alive and well! If you’re looking for a cold or boring type of service this is not the place for you. I would add if your the type of person who needs to hear only positive things about how good you are or you would be appalled if someone from the pulpit reminded you that you were a sinner, again this is not the church for you. If you want to see the word come alive and be around a vibrant atmosphere of people who hunger for God’s word in a respectful way, I have not found a church who exemplifies that as well as The Pursuit. For the first time in my 61 years on earth, I actually can’t wait to go to church each week! This church is growing extremely fast and like us when you experience what God is doing at The Pursuit for yourself, you will more than likely never leave! The bottom line is preachers today need to preach the whole word of God! Not a watered down version! If you are at a church that already adheres to that standard than I say Awesome, you are where you need to be! If not, come experience The Pursuit. It’s difficult to try and articulate how God will communicate this to you but I assure you, you won’t be the same!

Holy Spirit filled church. Pastor Russell’s background in politics is no coincidence and he is able and willing to use it to fight against the evil of today’s world. This church exists for such a time as this! He teaches and preaches the gospel in a way that brings tangible understanding and application. May God bless this church and community.

Amazing church. Every church you visit will have a few lower-character people in the mix. We are all growing. Don’t focus on the few people still learning to love, focus on the 95% who have experienced real life change through Jesus and exemplify his heart to the fullest. That’s what you’ll find here. This church believes the WHOLE word of God. They don’t compromise. So proud of their loyalty to the truth and the boldness by which P Russel speaks it! We must stand firm in the midst of a culture that twists Gods word to align with their own desires and worships a false Jesus.

Great people who love Jesus and are passionate about saving the lost. Teaching is 1000% biblical.

A bit different from my traditional roots, but the Spirit is very much alive in this place and the church family.

The minute I walked in the door I felt the presence of a holy God. This pastor is completely on fire for Jesus. I live in Michigan, flew out to visit family who attend this church. I wish I could have picked it up and taken it back home with me because we need something like that here in the town I live in. Watch it every minute I can on YouTube. If you live in that area you are blessed beyond measure.

We have attended the Seattle campus since the grand opening. My husband and I believe we have been prepared by God to come and be part of the NW awakening and revival. The volunteers and pastors are great. We love our church.

Here is how l see it! I went to the church and if you want to find out where Jesus is... Come here on Sundays. If your hungry for God, come to this church. If you wife told you that if you don't like this church and you can leave after 10 minutes, you won't leave. The services are not 4 hrs long. They are very direct and to the point. Music is great and you learn something every time you go. The pastor isn't boring and he tells you as it is. But he has passion and he cares. He is so matter of fact. and many churches only talk to you about money and how they plan to take it from you.
If you believe it, it will work, if you don't, it won't. Goodbye!

We live in Boise but we were in Washington for the past 3 weeks where we had the pleasure to attend Pursuit NW. We used to live in Washington though and we went to City Church back in the day and I thought It was so strange that It felt like City Church used to feel like under Pastor Wendell - different pastor, different building, different leadership style but the same holy spirit just showing up and showing off! Is it loud, yes in a good way. Is the parking tight, yes it is because they have a lot of people that want to attend their church - it's not a dead church with lots of empty parking spots. The Pastor here lays truth bombs with no regard to tickle your ear. He also, and I think this is my favorite part, rocks out on stage during worship. I've never seen a pastor do this before and I got to say it kind of pumps you up to worship God. People in the building aren't just swaying their hips a little bit while mouthing the words... it's full on worship, hands raised, jumping, and goose bumps everywhere. I don't know why you'd want to do Church and worship any differently than Pursuit does it. We are in Boise now and bummed that we don't get to go to Pursiut this morning but looking forward to podcasting the sermon later. Keep doing your thing Pursuit!! And make that thing come to Boise someday... please!!!

Love the Pursuit! Pastor Russell is not afraid to take on controversial topics about church or politics. He preaches from the Bible and God's words not man's. Worship is true worship and praise.

Excellent. This is a church you can n trust. An honest pastor speaking truth about Jesus. Very refreshing. Everyone is so nice & friendly. Many social functions for the church to gather & meet other members of the church. I just can't say enough good about this church. I've been to many. You can trust this place in every way
