McDaniel's Do it Center

Why go to another hardware store? Exactly, you shouldn't! This is such a welcoming, helpful store. Every time I go in, they greet me and assist me to my aisle. Employees are experts in customer service! Plus, it's just a fun place for strolling the aisles. They have such a collection! Please support this local business!

I took in a chain to sharpen for my saw. When I picked it up, Tim came out to explain the reason it took a little longer as some of the links were "corroded" and did not move as they should so he soaked it in mineral oil for a few days before sharpening. I really appreciated the attention to detail and Tim coming out in person to talk with me. Great customer service! Thank you

I was very impressed with your young employees. They were very friendly and helpful. Stores need to employ young people show a great work ethic.

This store feels like home. Specifically my grandparents love it and go there often, especially in the summer. The staff is kind and helpful. Also, the store is clean, organized and has a good variety of items.

This is a general hardware store where you can get all the things you need. Always find what I'm looking for at a reasonable price of compared to places like home Depot and Lowe's. They also have quality products, large hardware section for screws and bolts and nuts.

Good experience. A few cents more than other hardware stores. But I was always greeted with a hello. People everywhere too help me with my question.

After 3 big box stores found exactly what I was looking for. That usually what happens they carry items like the old time hardware store . An someone is always handy to help you.

I can't say enough nice things about this place.

Years of going to big box stores had made me forget that a hardware store should be a good experience. Full of friendly and helpful folks that are available to answer questions. They actually have the supplies a home owner needs in stock. In usable quantities as opposed to having to order a pallet and return the unused amount.

They also have kitchen, hunting, and fishing goods. Now, when I say, "I'm going to hardware store to fix the sink," I can pick up a pole and get in some fishing on the way home 😅

I am so happy to now live closer to the McDaniel's Do It Center. Even when I lived in Kenmore I would still go to this very well supplied hardware store. All the employees seem to be so well educated on the products and they will assist you in finding ALL that you need. Owner operated businesses care MOST about their patrons as they have the most to gain (or lose). Big corporate hardware stores are nice and all but you wont get near the service you get at McDaniel's. I have never done this before but I honestly feel like I could just go in and hand them my list and they will say "LET'S DO THIS". They really are the BEST....thank you also for serving your community.

I love the area for hardware nuts and bolts screws. It is great to be able to get just what you need to finish or repair your project. Big box stores don't allow for when you just need a few small parts to complete something without buying plastic packages with more items than you need. People there are always ready to help and know what you need when you describe what you are doing. Reminds me of the hardware stores when I was a younger pup. Comfortable atmosphere where you can browse the isles at leisure and real check out person when done.

Better hardware selection than Ace. Helpful staff. It's pricey but sometimes that's worth it.

You can find almost anything you need and if you can't find it, there are friendly and knowledgeable staff members that take the time to help you find it.

I am a small woman who know nothing about tooled, but whenever I come here, very knowledgeable staffs help me and find exactly what I need. They don’t sale me unnecessarily expensive things, because I don’t know. They are honest and helpful shop.
This will be my tool shop for 100% sure! It hard to find like this Shop any more. Keep this bussiness ever last!

Love this place, their house plants are extremely reasonable. Like I have no idea how they get away with selling them at such great prices. They have everything you need plus more. Super helpful and friendly staff!

This is a review for the key master, Kaden. He was top notch, my car was difficult to make a key for but he spent the time and made the best effort to get me out of there with a working set. I will be coming back because of the excellent service! Please tell him he is great!!!

When we moved here recently we needed numerous items of plumbing, hardware, lawn care, electrical. I initially started going to Lowes and Home Depot. When I did go into McDaniels, I assumed from the many, proficient staff and great depth of inventory choices that it was one of the big city hardware stores where you pay a lot more and maybe get a bit more.

But we have begun going first to McDaniels for all hardware needs, because (1) they consistently have more choices of bolts, plumbing repair parts, electrical repair/fixup, lawn care tools, (2) every few moments a floor person asks if I need help, (3) every single person who has helped me knows exactly where to find what I'm looking for, (4) when I want some item that is extra heavy duty, professional grade, I know they're more likely to have it than the big box stores.

Totally different than the big box stores, I know when I walk into McDaniels that within 30 seconds a floor staffer will ask me what I need and help me find it, then help explain how to install it.

McDaniels is a great place to find almost anything you need. I go here when I need a hard to find nut or bolt. They have sizing guides that help you determine what the thread size is and the bolt size. We have all kinds of different fasteners, hinges, latches, and almost anything else you would need for hardware.
