Athenian Grill

(I hadn’t been since the fire) The Athenian Grill has really stepped it up. The quality of the food is just as delicious as I remember, and now the location matches that. They’ve taken away the bottles of ketchup and now it’s served in stainless steel containers. The outside patio is amazing and the inside got a facelift. Great time.

First time at the Athenian Grill and it was really good! It's been newly renovated and is very nicely done. The bathrooms are clean and modern and the patio area with the view of the water and boats is nice. The food was generous and fresh. Lentils were cooked perfectly as a side to my chicken pita sandwich. French fries with the Lamb pita sandwich and hamburger were just perfect. We got there at opening time but didn't have to wait very long for our meal (probably 15 mins). The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was worth the price!

Great little Mediterranean restaurant right on the Suisun waterfront. We had the fried zucchini with tzatziki sauce, falafel plate and the fish and chips. All was delicious. The fish was sooo amazing, it melted in your mouth. Highly recommend. Be patient with service as they are short staffed.

Amazing place to get food. I cannot pronounce almost the entire menu but it was still absolutely amazing. For someone who doesn't normally like Greek this is the place I will go back to. The service was also outstanding, our server made us feel at home throughout the entire experience.

I've been eating at this restaurant over twenty-five years. I am very familiar with the food and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is great, especially when they have special nights with dancers. The food is fantastic although high priced. It's built along the marina, so there is an amazing view of the boats or a nice stroll after a full belly of food and a sweet Baklava-Yum! The owner Shelly is a gem and does an amazing job! If you're looking for authentic Greek food, this is a lovely place to eat.

The Fries I would highly recommend but not the Onion rings. The Carrot Cake was wonderful. Malia is an excellent Waitress and should be commended for being nice and courteous and doing a tremendous job !!!

Huge portions. Had a varied selection and it was all good. If you haven't had Greek food, just try anything on the menu and you'll be happy you did. Next time I'm back in Fairfield/Suisun, I'm eating here!

The restaurant has remodeled and looks great! The food as always is fantastic. I order the pastrami sandwich with onion rings. The pastrami is heaped onto a soft roll. It may not be Katz Deli pastrami, but it's pretty damn good. The onion rings are battered and cooked to perfection.

I had a wonderful experience at the Athenian Grill. The food was amazing, service was great and so were the prices. I had the falafel sandwich and I am very pleased with it. I was expecting the falafel to be hard but I was surprised when it was soft and almost like it was falling apart as soon as you bite it which I liked a lot. The waitress was very nice and checked up on us regularly making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone even if you’re a picky eater because they have a pretty wide variety of food to choose from. I will definitely be coming back to the Athenian Grill

Husband and I came here for lunch, we started off with the Tzatziki ($8.99) which came with warm pita and tzatziki, I wish there was some mint in it but it was delicious otherwise. We also got Souvlaki Plate ($21.99 - $23.99) with beef with a side of soup, avgolemono, which was delicious! As well as the Souvlaki pita sandwich ($12.99) with a side of soup. The waitress was very attentive, and even the owner of this restaurant came to say hello to us and told us the story behind the restaurant and how it burned down and got renovated on the inside.

Great dinner with friends. Love the open air patio. Food was delicious and our server Susie was wonderful!!

I have enjoyed stopping over in Suisun City on drives between the Bay area and Sacramento for several years now. This is the first time I've taken the opportunity to review this great find where I have always received a warm welcome, enjoyed tasty Greek specialties and marveled at the impeccable service. The patio seating in lovely in all sorts of weather, too!

This is the best Greek restaurant around! I’ve tried many and no one can compare to Athenian Grill ! Homemade fresh and delicious food every time !!

Wow, wow, wow!! Fantastic Greek food that is loaded with flavor. We tried the fried zucchini, hummus, and gyro pita sandwich and all of it tasted amazing. I’ll be back!

Delicious quick dinner in a casual atmosphere next to the water. Greek favorites done well! Greek wines, local wines and beer!
